Shenzhen Universiade Center is located in the northeast of Shenzhen, west of Longgang Center, about15km away from the city center. It is the main venue of the 26th Summer Universiade held in Shenzhen on 20 1 1, and it is also the future central area for Shenzhen to implement the strategy of building a city through culture, develop sports industry and promote national fitness.

The whole project covers an area of about 87.4 hectares, with a construction area of over 300,000 square meters and a total investment of about 3.5 billion yuan. The project includes the main stadium, gymnasium, swimming pool, national fitness square, sports comprehensive service area, news command center and other sports facilities. The design of Universiade Center also embodies the most avant-garde architectural concept and people-oriented purpose. The "one venue and two pavilions" are distributed in a triangle with water in the middle. The three gymnasiums are like three crystal boulders, which cooperate with the surrounding mountains and green spaces to form a unique "landscape stone" structure. The image of megalith breaks the convention and is used for large public sports buildings for the first time, which can better reflect the innovative spirit of Shenzhen. At the same time, natural lighting and ventilation are fully considered to reduce resource consumption, which conforms to the design concept of environmental protection and energy saving, improves utilization efficiency and has good economy.

Shenzhen Bay Sports Center is located in the northeast corner of Nanshan Houhai Central District, in the middle of Shenzhen Bay15km coastal leisure belt, adjacent to Hong Kong. It is the main venue of the 26th Summer Universiade on 201/kloc-0, and it is also the urban landscape and public space that Shenzhen will focus on in the future.

The whole project covers an area of about 30.74 hectares with a total construction area of 256,000 square meters, which will become another landmark building in Shenzhen. Projects include stadiums, gymnasiums, swimming pools, athletes' reception service centers, sports theme parks and commercial operation facilities. Among them, the main stadium with 20,000 fixed seats will undertake the competition and training functions of the football preliminaries of the Universiade; The main gymnasium can accommodate 654.38+300,000 spectators, and will become the main venue for the table tennis competition of the Universiade. The design of Shenzhen Bay Sports Center is also a great innovation of sports architecture. The unique design named "Spring Cocoon" integrates "One Hall and Two Pavilions" with commercial facilities through a large roof made of white giant grid structure. In addition, the integrated, compound and active design of this project is very conducive to the comprehensive utilization before and after the game.

After the Universiade, the center was opened to the general public and became the core venue for national fitness and an important venue for large-scale sports events at home and abroad. At present, the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center project is in the soft foundation treatment stage.
