Juvenile guerrillas

1934, the Red Army left the Jiangxi revolutionary base area, and the remaining Red Guards, under the leadership of Li, the chairman of the county Soviet, decided to go up the mountain and persist in guerrilla struggle. Chairman Li's son Su Bao and his friends Hu Zai, Shui Shui, Jin Yao, Xi Mei and Dong Ya all wanted to fight guerrilla warfare with the Red Guards, but because they were too young, Chairman Li and Li Gonggong refused to let them go. It was dark, and the children quietly left home to look for the Red Army, but they couldn't find it all day. The bandit leader led the bandits into the village and slaughtered the whole village. The children's young hearts planted the seeds of revenge for their loved ones. So, a red youth guerrilla was set up in a cave in the mountains. They bravely and tactfully grabbed guns and hung slogans, destroying many enemies. In a battle, Chairman Li was unfortunately arrested. The children, led by Li Gonggong, joined the jingwei regiment, cleverly rescued Chairman Li and killed the leader of the white bandits. Red children thrive in the baptism of blood and fire.

Two little soldiers of the Eighth Route Army

1943, Sun Daxing, a small soldier of the Eighth Route Army, was injured in the leg. The organization decided to send Wu Jianhua, a small medic, to nurse Sun Daxing, and go to my home in party member, an underground place in enemy-occupied areas, to recuperate. So Sun Wu and his wife, as the little apprentice of carpenter Jin Xiwu and the grandson of uncle Liu, hid in Liu Ji. Japanese puppet troops forced migrant workers to hoard food in mayor Tian's house. Daxing and Xiaowu got into Mayor Tian's compound at night and set fire to the enemy's grain depot. Their adventure disrupted the organization and was severely criticized. The Japanese aggressors planned a bigger sweeping plan. One day, Liu Ji's puppet squadron suddenly left, and then an inexplicable Japanese army came. Laojin, with Daxing and Xiaowu, found out the real intention of the enemy. At a critical juncture, Daxing resolutely decided to stay to attract the enemy and let Xiaowu run to the army with information. The third independent regiment got Xiaowu's information and immediately acted and deployed the battle. The enemy suffered a devastating blow.

Zhu De's pole

1928, Comrade Zhu De led the Red Army team to Jinggangshan to meet with Chairman Mao. On the mountain is the Red Army, and not far below is the enemy.

There is not much grain produced in Jinggangshan, so people are often taken out to Mao Ping at the foot of the mountain to pick grain. It's five or six miles from Jinggangshan to Mao Ping. The mountain is high and the road is steep, so it is difficult to walk. But every time we choose food, everyone wants to go.

Comrade Zhu De also went to pick food with the soldiers. Wearing straw sandals and a hat, he stirred up a car full of food and climbed the mountain with everyone. Picky food during the day and often stay up all night at night to study how to fight the enemy. Everyone was distressed and hid their poles. Unexpectedly, Comrade Zhu De found another pole and wrote in eight big letters, "Don't take Zhu De poles around". Everyone saw that they loved Comrade Zhu De more and more, but they were embarrassed to hide his pole.

Anti-Japanese hero Wang Erxiao

Laiyuan County, Hebei Province, located in the west of Hebei Province, bordering Shanxi, was one of the Shanxi-Chaji base areas in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period. Wang Erxiao, an anti-Japanese hero, grew up here. I won't say much about Wang Erxiao's heroic story.

When the devil found himself cheated, he brutally cut off five fingers of Erxiao's right hand, then stabbed Erxiao in the chest with a bayonet and threw him on a big stone. The Eighth Route Army wiped out the Japanese invaders in one fell swoop. After the battle, several soldiers rushed to the second primary school. He was still alive at that time and was sent to Liujiazhuang with two other wounded Eighth Route Army soldiers. Unfortunately, the injuries can't be cured, and they died for their country. These three soldiers were buried forever in the old valley deep in the mountains of Liujiazhuang. Zhang Shikui, then a cadre of the Youth Rescue Committee of Yuan Xian County, wrote the material "Wang Erxiao led an ambush in the enemy and died heroically in the struggle against" mopping up "and reported it to the Youth Rescue Committee of the Border Region. Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Daily published the news in the first edition. According to this report, Fang Bing, the songwriter in Ci, wrote the song "Singing Two Little Boys Playing Cowherd" on 1942. This song was soon sung all over the country in the border area and lasted for more than 60 years.

Today we are here, with beautiful scenery, birds and flowers, warm autumn days hanging in the sky, and ripe corn, beans, persimmons, walnuts and apples hanging all over the branches. There are flocks of sheep on the hillside, and cows wag their tails leisurely, which is a peaceful scene. Who would have thought that 60 years ago, a Japanese thief from the east looked at China and killed my heroic youth in this beautiful valley? Never forget the past, always remember Wang Erxiao, a cowboy of 13 years old, in his songs.
