How about digital media technology major? Please come in. Come on.

I study digital media technology. I feel that this course covers a wide range. Yunnan University of our school has positioned the subject of digital media technology on the basis of the combination of technology and art, so our major is arranged in the School of Software.

Why do I say this major covers a wide range? Because it not only needs to learn all kinds of technical knowledge, such as C language programming, game operation and production, computer graphics and other difficult subjects, but also needs to take into account artistic accomplishment, such as color and painting foundation, and must also deal with a large number of basic courses, such as advanced mathematics, college physics, 3D multimedia mathematics, discrete mathematics, engineering mathematics and so on. This major also requires higher English, not general English, but computer English. For example, our school offers a series of courses in English reading, listening, communication and writing for computer majors.

Personally, I think this subject has advantages and disadvantages-

1. The advantage is that you can learn from door to door, just like a panacea. You know almost everything about web page making, picture plane processing, game making, DV editing and music making. You can solve all kinds of problems and become a generalist.

2。 The disadvantage is that you are a panacea, but you know everything and are not good at anything. Your painting design is not as smart as art college, programming is not as profound as software engineering, and DV production is not as perfect as film editing. In fact, it has everything and nothing.

This major depends on how you want to learn it. If you want to achieve something in the future, I suggest you learn your subject well, choose a subject you like, and conduct in-depth research to avoid the situation of "knowing everything and doing everything". For example, you can learn Dreamweaver, PS and other software at the same time, but you especially like 3D animation. You can study deeply, take part in some competitions and get some certificates, and get recognition from others. In this way, you can know everything, but you also have something you are particularly good at, and you will have a sense of security and advantage when looking for a job, because when you have something you are good at, the panacea will become your killer, and no one can.

As for who is suitable for studying, I think you are suitable as long as you are interested in computers, the operation of various software, animation, game making, plane processing, painting and film editing.

Patience is the only ability needed. This major is sometimes easy to crash when doing experiments, because it is easy to make mistakes when using various software alternately, and once it is wrong, it has to be returned, which is often very brain-consuming to operate, so this major is easy to crash. A lot of math and experiments will make you either in the laboratory or in the classroom one day. There are quite a lot of courses, and the courses are difficult. If you don't pay attention, you will fail. Therefore, it also requires strong psychological endurance.
