Many people are asking how to buy imported cosmetics online. I'll tell you what I saw and heard here.

Before opening an online shop, I originally planned to make imported cosmetics, but I felt that there was too much shady after contact, so I gave up.

Search, you can find that there are many businesses selling well-known brands of cosmetics online, most of which are imported, and the prices are lower than each other, which makes you dazzled. If you have questions about such a low price, you will often be told that these products are imported. The low price is because the supplier supplies them directly, and the online store does not need operating costs, so the price is cheap. Or tell you that you came directly from Hong Kong, so the price is cheap!

If you are still in doubt about its quality at this time, the merchant will tell you that my products are genuine and can be inspected at the counter, and there are also three certificates of national acceptance when imported cosmetics enter the China market (three certificates refer to documents and labels such as acceptance and filing of imported goods at customs clearance). 1, source of imported cosmetics

First of all, the so-called sources of imported cosmetics on the Internet are mostly some large wholesale markets such as Guangdong, Shanghai and Zhejiang. In those places, such as Guangdong, there are large-scale cosmetics wholesale distribution centers, and there are hundreds of wholesalers in one market. In addition to the storefront, they also have a website for wholesale sales. The direct suppliers mentioned by online merchants refer to them.

So where do these wholesalers' goods come from? Many of them are parallel imports from Hong Kong, and some of them are fakes filled locally. For example, in Guangdong market, according to statistics, 80% of imported cosmetics are fakes or parallel imports. Some wholesalers even repackage foreign expired cosmetics and sell them as imported genuine products! Two years ago, Guangdong seized a serious case of counterfeit cosmetics in Guangzhou cosmetics market. It is reported that many wholesalers in this market are doing this in secret.

Of course, there will also be imported cosmetics that come in through normal channels, but such channels are difficult for sellers to find.

2. Wholesale of imported cosmetics

I have contacted wholesalers, and when I contact wholesalers, wholesalers will definitely ask you: Do you want imitations or genuine products? Their quotations are different. The wholesale price of a famous brand imitation is 2, which looks 30 yuan, and some even have only a few dollars. As long as it reaches a certain amount, it can be wholesale, and it also provides the service of valet delivery, that is, as long as the customer's name and address are provided, the wholesaler can deliver the goods to them instead of you, which is convenient for online shopping!

I once questioned whether the so-called authenticity of wholesalers is guaranteed to be genuine. The wholesaler said: If you want to wholesale, you must trust us. We agreed to do it! He also said that there are many big shopping malls in my city whose goods are their goods, but when asked to provide specific information, they make excuses. In the later communication, I later learned that their so-called counters are actually small shops and stalls selling cosmetics in our small commodity wholesale market, hehe!

3. Three Certificates of Imported Cosmetics

If you contact these wholesalers, the wholesalers will tell you that you can provide three certificates. Because everyone knows that the identity mark of imported cosmetics is three certificates, consumers should look at one of the three certificates, CIQ import inspection and quarantine certificate, and imported cosmetics should also provide three certificates when they enter the mall for sale; During the industrial and commercial inspection, when experts buy imported cosmetics for our consumers, they all rely on three certificates.

I don't know if the three certificates they provided are true or false, and the source is not clear. As far as I know, these three certificates can be provided at will, indicating that you bought fakes and imitations, and wholesalers also provided these three certificates. Think about it, can the three certificates really prove the identity of these cosmetics now? Are those with three certificates sure to be genuine? Ha ha, the answer is of course no!

4. Counter inspection

General sellers will say that they can go to the counter to inspect the goods. I have investigated, generally speaking, the counter will not provide you with inspection, because the counter does not have this responsibility unless you have a good relationship with the counter.

Second, sellers often ask you not to unpack when inspecting goods, otherwise it will not be returned. Therefore, the inspection can only rely on the outer packaging. Many sellers will tell you that the inspection only needs to go to the counter to see if the packaging is the same. However, because it is imported cosmetics, the origin of some products will be different from that of the counter, and the batch will be different, so the packaging will be different, so it is difficult to tell.

As for the same place of origin as the counter, the same outer packaging does not mean that the cosmetics inside are genuine. Everyone knows that the level of counterfeiting in China can be confused with the truth, not to mention just the outer packaging!

In addition, even if the outer packaging is different, the seller will find various reasons to explain it, such as different origin, different production batches, new packaging and so on. Hehe, in short, it makes you believe that the cosmetics you bought are genuine and correct.

It should also be said that there is a fake counter in the counter. Shiseido once made a statement that there are only a few designated counters in Guangzhou. This statement shocked the Guangzhou market, because in Guangzhou, many shopping malls have counters with Shiseido authorized brands. Some people will say that selling smuggled parallel imports is not bad. You may find that I have never made too many comments on genuine products, because no one can tell whether imported cosmetics are true or false.

The difference between parallel imports, imitations and genuine products is relatively small, and only professionals can see it through the comparison of colors and smells!

But first of all, once you use it, you lose the right to return it (the general seller's after-sales service is stipulated in this way). Third, when I was in contact with some wholesalers, I asked how to distinguish between true and false. They said, unless there are professionals, you must put the absolute genuine products together with the ones you bought, and you can tell them by comparing the colors and smells, otherwise no one, including the wholesalers themselves, can tell them apart.

It can be seen from this that whether the so-called genuine products of wholesalers are true or not can only be proved orally, and many of them are also false. Some big brands have issued statements because of fakes, saying that some product models have never been produced. But I saw the real quotations for these goods.

Industrial and commercial inspection only depends on whether the three certificates are complete, regardless of your quality!

It is for this reason that everyone can boldly sell, because no one can tell whether it is true or not!

Some people may say: this is not necessarily true! I bought a fake, I can see it! Hehe, in fact, all you can see are defective products in fakes.

7. Sellers and buyers

When buying cosmetics online, such as Taobao, our general thinking habit is to choose a seller with good reputation and low price, which is guaranteed!

In fact, I once talked with a double diamond seller in Taobao. He also sells imported cosmetics. He divided the cosmetics in the store into two categories: genuine products and parallel products, ensuring that the genuine products sold are absolutely imported and of counter quality. On the surface, it is more sincere, allowing customers to choose according to their own needs. I thought he had genuine cosmetics at first, and I wanted to ask him about wholesale. After talking for a long time, he told me the truth:

He doesn't have any genuine products at all, but all he sells are parallel imports. Even those classified as genuine products are parallel imports. These so-called genuine products are all decorations to improve the image of their stores. He used his double diamonds and these decorations to make many people buy his parallel imports! Finally, he said: Who sells genuine products these days? You can't make money selling genuine products!

It can be seen that credibility can only be a reference. Some merchants get diamonds and hearts through some abnormal means, so be careful!

Price is not the main factor in deciding to buy!

First of all, the price is too low, which violates the law of value. Real genuine products, including imported cosmetics, must have a uniform and fixed price even if they are purchased directly from manufacturers, and this price of manufacturers will not affect the sales of brands in other channels, such as the price and sales of counters. Remember, no brand manufacturer will be willing to let go of the price at the expense of its own interests. Secondly, don't think that high prices must be genuine. Take advantage of the psychology of one price and one goods, set the price very high, but there are still fakes!

There are also some sellers whose goods come from reputable businesses, such as the famous Sasha. Many people think that buying from there is genuine, and the quality is absolutely guaranteed! In fact, it may not be so. In Taobao community, I saw an article written by a buyer who has been shopping in Hong Kong's SASA physical store for a long time, which mentioned that SASA is famous for selling parallel cosmetics in Hong Kong, and its quality is basically guaranteed. But buyers who go to buy must have a pair of eyes, otherwise it is easy to buy problematic products.

In addition, don't think that there is no problem except imported skin care products, such as imported cosmetics and cleaning products (such as shower gel). In fact, these imported goods are more difficult to distinguish, and there are more fakes!
