What makes you find yourself an outsider in your husband's family?

Every time I went back to my mother-in-law's house and ate at a small table, there was always a big pot of soup in front of me and other dishes in front of my husband. At first, I didn't notice this detail at all. I flew happily, boasting desperately about my mother-in-law's superb craftsmanship and being complacent about my wit.

Later, at lunch, everyone set the table, and my mother-in-law put at least one bowl of rice where I often sat. I seem to have a sudden epiphany. I wanted to try to see if it was what I thought, so I changed places with my husband to eat, and the bowl of rice that was missing was naturally mine.

As soon as my mother-in-law came to the table, she saw that we had changed places, and she froze. Then, she immediately changed her bowl of rice to my husband, and then she began to move the dishes, put the meat dishes in front of my husband and moved. She probably realized something and looked up at me. I smiled at her with a clear face (I thought so) and she stopped. A little embarrassed, start eating.

Not only did he not give more food, but he only served soup, and then he praised others for their good cooking and delicious food, which made him feel stupid to think about it.
