What is the best way to travel to Singapore?

I have lived in Singapore for more than 12 years. Today, I arranged a trip to Kuala Lumpur. I got some inspiration from Ctrip’s travel notes and decided to contribute something about Singapore. Let’s talk about the places you can play first. Sentosa is currently building an integrated resort (casino), so it is rather ugly. (Already renovated, some facilities are still under construction.) If you want to watch the water curtain movie around 8-9 o'clock (the time of the water curtain movie has been changed to 7:40 and 8:40), you have to buy tickets early, otherwise There will definitely be no tickets left by then. I think the underwater world is pretty good. I have been to two underwater worlds in Dalian, but they don’t seem as big as the one in Shanghai.

And it’s not cheap. It is recommended to take the cable car. Although the distance is short, you can see a lot of scenery. Expensive cable cars allow you to take pictures of the outside scenery, while cheap ones are sealed and the glass will reflect light when taking pictures. Sentosa can swim. The zoo is pretty good. It is recommended to buy a small ticket at the hospital so that you can walk and take the bus without being too tired. You can go to KFC for dinner, which is cheaper. It is recommended to watch the animal show. It’s best to watch all three. It's all free anyway.

You should arrive at the performance venue at least 15 minutes early, otherwise there will be no seats. White Tiger was nothing at first. He just killed someone a few days ago, so he is very popular now. It is not recommended to go to the zoo at night. Can't see clearly, except that it's dark and plump. Of course, there will be animal performances. It looks fresh at night, but some animals can be seen during the show. Botanical Garden, highly recommended, near Orchard Road. Freedom and madness are certainly not as good as the mountains in China. Something worth seeing inside is the dog walking. You can see many valuable dogs on weekends, and no one walks local dogs there. Ji Hu Garden has a fee, and Chinese groups usually go there. In fact, this is less than one-fifth of the area. The houses outside the botanical garden are all mansions.

If you have been to the Botanical Garden, there is no need to go to the Chinese Garden or other parks. Birds, yes, but it’s best to bring a camera or binoculars. Some cages are too high and cannot be seen due to poor eyesight. Transfer at boonlay subway station. Other attractions, Baisha has a water park. unnecessary. There are many community stadiums in Singapore, all with large swimming pools. There are surfing and hydromassage inside. Tickets only cost S$1-2. You can also take your children to a community swimming center, as older ones don’t have as many facilities. The one you know is in the far west. Turn to 197 at boonlay MRT station. When you see a stadium, get off the car and walk into the second floor. It's huge. But not on Tuesday. There are also some places to climb mountains and explore nature in Singapore, but the transportation is not very convenient and there is not much content, so it is not recommended. For example, you can see crocodile-like lizards in Sungei Buloh, and the entrance fee is NT$1. Singapore also has a science center with three-dimensional movies, and an exploration center focusing on military affairs. The kids say they like the latter, but I think the former is more knowledgeable.

In fact, Singapore’s zoos, botanical gardens and bird parks are worth seeing. If you want to play in the water, go to the community swimming park that I recommend. Sentosa is really boring right now. Before the casino was built in 2010, a third of the massive construction site was worth a visit. There was a theme park or something back then. Looking forward to it. There is also a southbound trail in Singapore. It takes two hours to walk from the hill opposite Sentosa to the hill on the other side of National University. Along the way, we passed several unique high-altitude bridges, which was very interesting. It is free. The problem is that it is not easy to find the starting point and it is easy to get lost. It should not be suitable for foreign tourists. And it’s completely natural, so there’s no place to eat it. There is a high-altitude hot air balloon in Singapore, but it has just been completed.

New Dalun just happened to see the large construction site in Sentosa, and the ticket price was not cheap. It is good for rich people to visit, and it is good for poor people to visit. Problems cost more money. (The new Sands Hotel has opened. There is a sky garden on the roof, which is higher than the big wheel and has a good view. Each one costs SGD 20.) I recommend these when playing. Fun doesn’t necessarily mean it’s expensive, and expensive doesn’t necessarily mean it’s fun. Many people complain that food is more expensive than domestic food. The problem is that eating authentic Chinese food in Singapore is worse than eating in China, but eating imported food in China will be relatively cheaper. Many McDonald's and KFC plus Burger King are 6 yuan set meal. Pizza Hut is definitely not over 10 yuan per person. If you are not interested in these junk foods, then try the Indian roti, which surprisingly costs less than S$1. Now that we are out, of course we have to eat well and eat something special. Recommended Sakura buffet.

The theme is Japanese-style raw fish, supplemented by fried, steamed, fruit drinks and snacks. S$25 per person, the environment is very good. There are science centers and community swimming pools that I introduced.

But if you don’t like raw salmon, forget it. What a waste. There are many similar seafood dishes in Singapore. Some of them can eat king crab, but they cost thirty or forty dollars. I'm very satisfied with the salmon, and I've been eating a lot of durian meat recently. The second place I recommend to eat is the IKEA restaurant. The environment is good, and the place where you buy furniture is not lacking in design. Don't expect to get chef-prepared food there. The central kitchen is full of Swedish hot and cold dishes. His meatballs are very famous, but even if you eat them once, the grilled chicken wings are really good, but not special.

Special cold dishes and cakes, 30 Singapore dollars for two people is definitely enough. If you have money, hotels are good. There are pepper crabs everywhere, usually more than 30, of course they are big crabs. Some people don't like black pepper crab, but they do. The Dungeness Crab is really good. It is not recommended to go to Laobasha to eat special snacks. It is obviously aimed at foreign tourists and is relatively expensive. The specialty here is red bean ice. Generally, food stalls have cold drinks. The bone tea is also good, which is garlic pork ribs. The less meat, the more expensive it is. The more meat, the more ribs. Personally, I prefer to eat more meat. Bak Kut Teh in Singapore is not necessarily more expensive than in Malaysia. Generally speaking, between 4 yuan and 6 yuan is normal for tourists. Another is satay, a Malay kebab. It needs dipping sauce and the meat is minced meat. Not as delicious as the lamb kebabs.

Uda is grilled with meat stuffing in bamboo leaves, and the fish Uda is pretty good. Singapore also has Thai, Indian and Malay curries. Anyway, I'm not used to it. You can call it lasa if you like. The colors are scary and Chinese people like them. Fruits, durian, and mangosteen are nothing new. You can buy red-haired durian, which is not a durian fruit at all. Soft, sweet and sour. Dragon, similar to longan, is much more delicious than longan. But not always. There are also other tropical fruits, such as dragon fruit, lotus root, carambola, and Shijia, all worth trying.
