What are the common symptoms of tuberculosis?

The pathogen of tuberculosis is Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex, including Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Mycobacterium bovis, Mycobacterium Africa and Mycobacterium MICROTUS. More than 90% of the pathogens of human tuberculosis are Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

Different parts of the human body may be infected with conjugated bacilli, and the symptoms of tuberculosis in different parts are different.

Respiratory tuberculosis: early asymptomatic, or mild dry cough. If tuberculosis involves pleura, besides dry cough, there will be chest pain which will be aggravated with the change of breathing and posture.

Tuberculosis of urinary system: there may be no symptoms in the early stage, and there may also be symptoms of urinary system irritation such as frequent urination, urgency and dysuria.

Tuberculosis of digestive system: There may be dull abdominal pain in the early stage and occasional paroxysmal colic, which is more common in the right lower abdomen and navel. It is often aggravated after eating and relieved after defecation.

Tuberculosis of reproductive system: there may be occasional discomfort of rectum and perineum in the early stage.

Bone and joint tuberculosis: Because bones are sensitive to pain, pain at the lesion site may occur in the early stage, which may be aggravated during activities. Because of the pain, the patient's activities will be limited.
