First anniversary of freelancing: talk about how I support myself

As of this past weekend, it was my first anniversary as a freelancer.

My life has undergone some subtle changes from my naked resignation at the end of July last year to now. Just like the leaves on the treetops, the color gradually changes, following the laws of nature and the kissing time comes with each advent.

I had dinner with an old friend a few days ago. He said that he felt something was different about you.

After thinking for a long time, he described it like this: relaxed but not slack, eyes bright but not burning.

Although I am a little embarrassed to hear this comment. But I roughly understand what he means. I do live a little more comfortably than in the past. In the past two years, I was too tense. My anxiety wrapped up my true self tightly, like a blind fish scurrying across the sea. In the sea of ??urban people. I am afraid that I will be left behind by the times. Don't dare to go off the rails. Eager to prey, but also eager to gain recognition from the outside world.

These radical episodes came to an abrupt end after I stopped going to work.

No matter how messy life is, you just need to be a sharp knife.

When we are young, we will all encounter countless forked roads that we can choose. No one knows what is at the end of the road, and it is not very important. You just need to remember to choose the path you want to take the most.

People should do everything they want to do when they have the urge. As they get older, they will feel that nothing is necessary.

After not going to work, for me, I just switched from writing in the office to writing in coffee shops or at home.

To become a freelancer, you still have to try to meet three conditions.

1. Stable financial source

Whether working or not working, earning the necessities of life through one's own abilities is something that adults must face. If you have certain monetizable skills or a platform you can rely on, you can try to change your work mode. For myself, my main source of income is royalties. The royalties are roughly divided into three categories.

A. Fixed manuscript fee - I used to mainly help others write soft articles for promotion, similar to Taobao Toutiao. If I did it for five or six hours a day, I would get more than 100 yuan, which would be enough in a month. Quite a few. (Proportion of monthly income: 30%)

B. Activity-based manuscript fees - commercial soft articles, public relations and marketing soft articles, integrated marketing plans, and expenses for communication projects. (Proportion of monthly income: 20%)

C. Public account manuscript fee - the public account I wrote myself and the contributions to other public accounts are currently basically maintained at 50~100/1500 words, which is very cheap, but Every penny is love. Without a job, every penny must be saved. (Proportion of monthly income: 50%)

I want to get what I want. Life. There is no shortcut, if there is, it is just someone else knocking down the southern wall that you think cannot be knocked down. Hard work is the only shortcut.

The reason why I chose naked words is because I don’t want to waste time and energy anymore and I want to do what I like.

A person's career is not climbing a mountain, reaching the top or giving up at a speed visible to the naked eye, but a long and subtle crustal movement, which is extremely fissionable and reshapeable. Let’s not set limits on ourselves. Cherish every impulse to "fiddle around".
