That knowledge is different from that of the ancients.

Lingyin Temple was built in the first year of Xianhe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (AD 326) and is the earliest famous temple in Hangzhou. According to legend, the Indian monk Huili came to Hangzhou and saw the strange peaks here. He thought it was "hidden by fairies", so he built a temple here and named it Lingyin. Lingyin Temple is located in the west of West Lake in Hangzhou, with its back to the North Peak and facing Feilai Peak. Surrounded by two peaks, Lingyin Temple is a tree-lined ancient temple in the mountains. This is a good place to enjoy the cool in summer.

Fang Gan (836-888) was a famous poet in the late Tang Dynasty. His name was Xiong Fei, also known as Xuan Ying. He was born in Qingxi, Zhou Mu (now Chun 'an, Zhejiang). Young and talented, his career is sloppy, and he is not the first scholar. He lived in Jinghu Lake for a long time. As an honest and frank person, he is ugly and has no lips. Because the court was corrupt and jealous of talents, it was not used. He is good at metrical poetry, clean and small, and has many epigrams. Later generations praised him as "not an inch rich and famous."

When Fang Gan lived in seclusion, he went to the northern peak behind Lingyin Temple to cool off in the dog days. Seeing the beautiful scenery of Beifeng, he wrote a hymn.

"There is no trouble in summer, and it is among dogs." The first couplet describes the season and place of play. Beifeng is located behind Lingyin Temple. Although it is only over 300 meters above sea level, it is often mistaken for the first peak in Hangzhou by the ancients because it is a relatively high mountain around the West Lake. The poet thinks that Beifeng is "the best". In fact, the Beauty Peak in the west is higher than the North Peak. In fact, because the North Peak climbs all the way up the mountain, the trees are lush, winding up, climbing high and overlooking, surrounded by Yunshan on three sides, and the magnificent scenery of the West Lake and even the majestic posture of Qianjiang can be seen from all sides, so in the eyes of the poet, this is the "top". The climate at the top of Beifeng Mountain in the back of Lingyin Temple is cool, and there is no such stuffy and hot weather below, so in the hottest summer weather in dog days, I climbed the Beifeng Mountain and enjoyed the fun and coolness.

"The radish is hard to penetrate the sun, and the trees are windy." Zhuanlian describes the scenery of Beifeng. Beifeng is densely forested, pineapples droop, and the sky is covered with trees. The peak is breezy and refreshing.

"The mountains are Dieyun, and Sichuan is the best in the world." "The world" refers to the world. Neck couplets describe the scenery around Lingyin Temple. Looking from a distance, the mountains are overlapping, the clouds are lingering, and the sunset clouds are all over the sky. The winding Qiantang River in the distance flows eastward and into the sea, just like dumping.

"That knowledge is prosperous, not the same as the ancients." The ending couplets are lyrical and difficult to understand. Literally, who knows that this afternoon's interest is different from that of the ancients. What's the difference with the ancients? After careful tasting and looking at the "three volts" of the first couplet, I suddenly realized. It turns out that midsummer is the hottest season in summer. The ancients paid attention to "squatting", that is, "hiding" It's better to squat, be quiet and have a good time than to move. But the poet climbs mountains in dog days, which is naturally different from the ancients.

Although poets climb mountains in dog days, they are different from the ancients. However, after climbing to the top of the mountain, he saw beautiful scenery, clouds all over the sky, misty peaks, beautiful forests, distant rivers, nearby breezes and extremely cool climate. He can't help but feel relaxed and happy, and he has the realm of "other mountains are dwarfed under the sky". So he is interested in climbing mountains without listening to the "hiding" of the ancients.

The whole poem is concise and lively, the antithesis is neat, the wording is appropriate, elegant and refreshing, full of Shan Ye interest, and it can also be seen that the poet is different and worth chewing.
