Opening time of Chrysanthemum Exhibition in Hangzhou Botanical Garden

The 2021 Hangzhou Botanical Garden Fine Chrysanthemum Exhibition was officially launched on November 5, and the event will last until November 28. Tickets to the flower show are free, but tickets are required to enter the Hangzhou Botanical Garden scenic area. See below for details.

Flower show tickets: Free, but you need to purchase Hangzhou Botanical Garden scenic spot tickets.

Tickets for attractions: 10 yuan for adults, 5 yuan for half price, 0 yuan for free.

From 2010 to 2010, this year’s outdoor environment layout such as flower borders, flower clusters, and flower balls were set up along the North Gate to Yuquan Scenic Area, so that the sketch layout and the original scenic spots in the park complement each other, forming a Seamless switching between attractions. The natural landscape effect fully demonstrates the exquisite arrangement of flower beds and the effect of the placement of chrysanthemum groups in this flower show.

Visitors can enter from the north gate and see 120 pots of bonsai-shaped chrysanthemums dotted on both sides of the road; Yuquan Yuyue Scenic Area will cover more than 7,000 pots of tower chrysanthemums, vertical chrysanthemums, bonsai chrysanthemums, shaped chrysanthemums, multi-head chrysanthemums Chrysanthemums and small chrysanthemums; in Nanyuan, 1,200 pots of cliff chrysanthemums hang on the water surface, and 200 pots of hanging basket chrysanthemums hang on Pingqiao. The chrysanthemum shadow is full of brilliance, creating a prosperous scene, quiet and fragrant, attracting tourists to stop and admire, and it is very lively.

More than 1,000 pots of chrysanthemum varieties from 15 cities in 3 provinces will be unveiled at the Yuquan indoor booth. The flowers are novel, the colors are stunning, the shapes are beautiful, and the chrysanthemum cultivation skills are superb, which makes people praise each other.

In addition, there are more than 10 groups of colorful chrysanthemum sketches waiting for everyone to find out.

:Flower exhibition area:

1. The most eye-catching part of this chrysanthemum boutique exhibition is the chrysanthemum sketch exhibition area. Several groups of sketches in charge of the Hangzhou Botanical Garden were designed and produced by young backbones. They centered on the theme of "Enjoying Prosperity and the Beautiful Yangtze River Delta" and integrated chrysanthemum culture and Shuangxi scenic spots into the works.

Among them, the chrysanthemum sketch "Traveling in Shuangxi, Enjoying the Prosperity" built a boat named "Huguangshanse" to swim in the scenic area. The boat sailed out of the Broken Bridge Cave of the West Lake and headed towards the brilliant scenery of chrysanthemums in the Southern Song Dynasty.

2. During the exhibition, our park prepared a series of wonderful science interactive experience activities in Yuquan Yuyue Scenic Area.

Activity 1: Asteraceae plant planting experience

Activity: There are countless members of the Asteraceae family, including both ornamental flowers and edible crops. During the chrysanthemum exhibition, we will invite people to visit the site and plant a chrysanthemum plant themselves.

Activities: November 5, 9:00-11:30.

Activity 2: Experts will show you the chrysanthemum exhibition.

Activity content: Under the leadership of chrysanthemum experts, we will have an in-depth understanding of chrysanthemums from aspects such as varieties and flower shapes, and interpret the stories behind the chrysanthemum exhibition.

Activity 3: Making an exclusive card for the Chrysanthemum Festival

Activity content: All visitors can make an exclusive card for the Chrysanthemum Festival using cardboard, dried flowers, and lacquerware.

Location: Yuquan Yue Beiyuan

Activities: November 13, 9:00-11:00

Activity 4: Chrysanthemum woodblock printing

Activity content: With the help of volunteers, participants can experience the traditional art of woodblock printing and obtain unique "Four Gentlemen" natural linen handkerchiefs.

Location: Yuquan Yuebei Garden

Activities: November 21, 14:00-16:00.

Activity 5: Chrysanthemum tea is provided for free.

During the chrysanthemum exhibition (November 5-28), chrysanthemum tea will be provided to the public for free on weekends.
