If there is no patina yet, then use the first method first. If there is already patina, then simply use the second method.
First of all, let’s talk about small-leaf red sandalwood. If it has not been coated with pulp, there is a simple method: just hang it for three or four months and let it slowly oxidize into purple. During this period, you can wear cotton gloves for about twenty minutes every day (it is recommended to change new gloves once a month). Remember not to let the beads come into contact with any liquid, especially sweat, before the patina is formed. If it comes into contact with liquid, it will turn black into black briquettes. It feels so good.
A more complicated method:
The first step is to rub the surface with cotton cloth every day for a week (it is normal for the cloth to be stained red, and it will gradually fade.),
The second step is to leave it to oxidize for a week.
The third step is to get started. Hands should be washed and dried, preferably wearing emery cloth gloves. Dry hands and slightly sweaty hands can be used directly. Note that the beads must also be coiled around the orifice. You can coil them for about half an hour a day.
The fourth step is to leave it to oxidize for about a week.
Then repeat the third and fourth steps five to six times and it will basically come out. The surface of the rosewood will have a strong reflection similar to the texture of glass.
The above three pictures of red sandalwood (the first one is after oxidation before being plated, the second one is the same string of beads preliminarily plated. The third one is directly oxidized for one year):

If you like red rosewood, just put it in a sealed bag and wait for it to be patinated. But I think red sandalwood would be boring if it wasn’t purple.

Let’s talk about Jinsnan’s method before there is no patina or the patina is incomplete.
The first step is to wear cotton gloves or silk cloth and rub the surface for half an hour every day to remove sawdust powder. Keep this for about a week until it feels shiny and transparent.
The second step is to put it in a sealed bag and put it in a cool place or the cold room of the refrigerator (it is not recommended to put it in a household refrigerator. You can buy a small refrigerator with a few hundred dollars or clean the household refrigerator.) Refrigerate for up to one week.
The third step is to take out the beads that have been left for a week and keep them for another week to allow the surface of the beads to oxidize in contact with the air. The color of the bead surface will slowly begin to turn into gold, purple gold or jet black gold.
The fourth step is to start playing beads directly. When plating, make sure your hands are clean and dry, and avoid plating beads with sweaty hands. When rolling beads, the surface of the beads should be evenly distributed so that the beads are slightly warm, especially around the holes of the hand beads. If you insist on this for half an hour every day for a week, you will find that there will be a slight sticky feeling when you plate the beads. This is the manifestation of the formation of patina. (If it is not plated properly and is stained by sweat, you can wash the heavy plate with soft water or a little olive oil, but the effect will be much worse.)
Step 5, repeat steps two and three without plated beads. Keep it in a special small cloth bag for a long time. It will be basically completed in about four or five months. The surface of the golden nan will still be crystal clear and deep.
I will send you a picture of the golden nan that is initially well-coiled:
If your two strings of beads are already old products with patina, then I suggest Don't wash off the heavy plate, just put it on the plate directly (of course, try to keep your hands clean). If you plate it for a long time, it will have a dark and simple feeling, and it will also have a special interest.
Objects and objects, have fun while circling the pictures. Don’t worry too much. What you want is the fun in the process of circling, not the pain. In fact, as long as it is done frequently and for a long time, no matter what kind of appearance or hairstyle the final beads will have, it will have its own special temperament and charm.
After reading this, you will find that the methods of the two material trays are very similar. In fact, this similar method is suitable for almost all types of wooden beads. I hope you succeed.
Finally, I will give you the addresses of two related forums, I hope it will be helpful to you:
