I want to convert. Is there anything I should pay attention to first?

In the conversion ceremony, we must accept conversion from joy. If we don't know the benefits of conversion, it is difficult for us to have a happy heart. Therefore, we should know the benefits of transferring Sambo. The benefits of conversion are so great that we can't say it all at once. Let's simply say eight points:

(1) After conversion, we officially became Sambo disciples.

(2) Conversion is the basis of words and deeds, and words and deeds are the basis of merit. As long as you convert, you are eligible to further demand the precepts that you can keep in the future, so as to accumulate virtue.

(3) Because we abide by the three treasures, especially the Buddhism, we will abstain from evil deeds and good deeds according to the teaching method of cause and effect, so the sin barrier will naturally fade away.

(4) The obstacles of sin, merit and good fortune are like seesaws, where the increase is weak and the weakness is increased. After conversion, due to the disappearance of the sin barrier, the merits and blessings will increase accordingly.

(5) Less crimes and more merits, all our wishes will naturally come true.

(6) In our life, there will always be disasters of land, water, fire and wind, injuries from wild animals, inhuman people and thieves, and all kinds of troubles and other pains. After sincerely converting to the Three Treasures, none of these violations can hurt us.

(7) As long as there is a decisive basis, especially when we think of the three treasures before we die, it is impossible for us to fall into the three evils in the next life.

(8) Once the three treasures stop, we will embark on the road of becoming a Buddha and decide to become a Buddha in the end.

After converting to Sambo, there are some things we should do and some things we shouldn't do. This is called "conversion place". The conversion school is divided into three parts: the Sambo school and the non-Sambo school. * * * The classmate's office is reserved after the transfer to Sambo; Instead of * * *' s "independence", it refers to what you should do or quit because you convert to one of the three treasures. For one of the three treasures, the classmate's office is a professor who is generally applicable to the whole three treasures.

There are two things that should be avoided and held in the non-* * faction. The thing to avoid is called "school"; This business is called "Cheng School Office".

There are three recluses, which are related to Buddha's treasure, magic weapon and monk's treasure.

(1) Because we have converted to Buddhism, we should no longer rely on all kinds of gods, earth gods and dragons in the world. These life forms are just ordinary people like us, and they are not beyond life and death, so they have no ability to benefit our future life, and they are also our unbearable dependence. These sentient beings do have a little ability, but they don't have the virtue and compassion like Buddha. When we support such beings, they may give us some secular benefits; But once they forget to provide for them, they may be as cheap as human beings, and they will immediately turn against us and hurt us. Now people often say, "I believe in Sambo, but I also believe in Taoism. They are all religions that lead people to do good! " A kind of writing. As a disciple of Sambo, of course, you can respect other people's beliefs, but if you also rely on other religions or objects at the same time, it will violate the original dependence on Sambo. As Buddhists, we should not be at odds with our parents and family. If your family has a tradition of offering sacrifices to heaven and earth, we can also participate in supporting it. When offering food, we should offer fruit tea with the mentality of our peers, and ask them to give the world a blessing or at least not to hurt it, but they can't stop at their hearts, otherwise they will be born as subordinates in the future, which also violates the seclusion of learning Buddhism and converting to Buddhism.

(2) Since we have converted to Buddhism, we should adhere to the teachings of the Buddha and should not do anything that goes against Buddhism. In Buddhism, the core foundation is not to harm other life, including insects. Therefore, we should at least not kill. Of course, in our daily life, we will inevitably step on bugs unintentionally. While taking care of our lives, if we accidentally step on bugs and so on. , does not violate the magic weapon of conversion. But if we deliberately kill life, we violate this school. For example, when we go to the canteen, we personally point to a fish and let the restaurant kill it and cook it for us. When we eat it, we feel very satisfied. This is a complete killing. If you don't kill yourself, find someone to kill you, and the result is heavier than killing yourself. Han people like to eat in seafood restaurants. Everyone should be very careful and never take part in killing directly. People who are not vegetarians can only eat dead meat that is not slaughtered for themselves. In some cultures, animals are not only killed, but also killed by cruel methods, such as slowly bleeding, drying them alive or steaming them. Because this killing makes all beings more miserable, the karma and results of this killing are also greater. If we not only stop killing ourselves, but also teach others to stop killing, it will be of great benefit to ourselves, that person and other sentient beings, and it will make us live longer.

(3) Since you have converted to the monk's treasure, you should avoid hanging out with evil friends. This is extremely difficult to do in today's society, but as a teacher, I have the responsibility to teach it this way. What is "criminal friend"? "Guilty friends" are not monsters with three heads, six arms and horns on their heads, but those who teach and lure us to harm all beings without any reason or result. When we first converted, we were easily persuaded because we were not firm enough in our adherence to Sambo, so we must carefully protect our adherence. Once we have a real sense of dependence, we will not be afraid of the bad influence of others, and even guide them to do good deeds with compassion in the future. What is the definition of "truth"? In ancient India, there was a big Buddhist University in Narendra with many monks. Once, the Islamic army captured this place, and the soldiers surrounded the university and ordered the monks to line up one by one. At the gate, the monk was given the right to choose. If he died, he vowed to give up his dependence on the Sambo, and those who insisted on being Sambo disciples were immediately executed. In this case, if you would rather let go of your life than rest on it, it is "real spiritual rest." In our daily life, not only can we not really give up, but even talking about it in a joke is inappropriate.

There are also three schools, which are related to Buddha treasure, magic weapon and monk treasure respectively.

(1) Once the Buddha is stopped, any Buddha should be regarded as a real Buddha, whether it is gold, silver, mud or printed on paper. We should not sell or pawn the Buddha statue as a commodity, nor should we put the golden Buddha statue in the center of the altar and put the clay Buddha statue aside as a treasure in the world. Since these are regarded as true buddhas, they are all gold mud. In addition, be sure not to point at the Buddha statue or painting or put it on the ground. When commenting on Buddha statues or paintings, you should be careful with your words. You can only say, "I don't think Tommy's carving of Buddha statues is very clever!" "Wait, not" This Amitabha is really ugly! " "A word.

(2) The magic weapon is the object of the three treasures, so it is higher than the Buddha treasure and the monk treasure. Since we no longer follow orthodox teachings, we should regard all Confucian classics as real magic weapons, and should not put them on the ground or sideways, nor should we make a living by selling Confucian classics. In this generation, many monasteries also make a living by selling scriptures, which is all wet. In Tibet, a rich man once invited a monk to work at home and provided food for the monk. At night, the monk suddenly felt a sharp pain all over his body. He felt that this was no ordinary pain, so he observed it with magical power and saw countless scriptures interspersed in his stomach! The monk prayed to his deity Guanyin, who appeared and said to him, "What you ate in repentance today was earned by a rich man who sold scriptures. Fortunately, your karma is very light, and this karma immediately appears with slight results. If it is heavy industry, this bad industry will not be lightly reported immediately, but it will lead to extremely heavy results in the afterlife! " It can be seen that even if you accidentally commit such a thing, the consequences will be very serious. In addition, some Han people are used to putting the Buddha statue in the scriptures and putting the scriptures on the Buddha statue, which is also incorrect. Magic weapon is the object of three treasures, so it is higher than Buddha treasure and monk treasure in definition. Strictly speaking, it is right to put the scriptures on top of the Buddha statue, but it is against the school to pad the Buddha statue with the scriptures.

(3) Since the monk's treasure has stopped, we should respect it. When four ordinary monks are together, they must be regarded as the treasure of the abbot. Therefore, we not only disrespect monks, but also break the cassock in a corner on the ground.

In addition to the above six non-* * learning places, we also have to rely on the same learning places. * * * There are six general education offices.

(1) After conversion, I miss the merit of Sambo every day.

(2) When eating, hold up the three treasures in your heart before eating. This is to accumulate merits and show respect for ourselves, not for the Buddha and other people who need food or care to please us.

(3) In the future, we should guide others to study law according to their own abilities.

(4) After conversion, three times a day and three times a night, read the three treasures of merit and recite the converted text. There are many versions of the conversion text, and the simplest version is "convert to Buddhism, convert to Buddhism, convert to monks".

(5) No matter what you do, you must rely on the three treasures wholeheartedly.

(6) From life-threatening situations to casual jokes, we can't say that we have given up the conversion to Sambo.
