When you first start drinking tea, how should you drink it?

Due to work, I often have to drink tea with the leader. Although my family also has the habit of drinking tea, in front of me, it was just the same water. It's different now. Sometimes we have to discuss tea at the tea table, and this is where I get into trouble. How should you drink tea? For this purpose, I specifically asked friends around me who love tea. I’ve listened to a lot of suggestions, so let’s talk about your feelings below!

In fact, drinking tea is a very enjoyable thing, I have never noticed it before. Of course, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable drinking it. There are hundreds of subdivided types of tea. Because personal constitutions are different, the good tea recommended by others may not be suitable for you. Personally, I think that when you first start drinking tea, it is better to abandon the judgment criteria of quality and price, start with the resources you have around you, taste them one by one according to the differences between the six categories of tea, and accumulate some experience.

With the convenience of the leader, let me briefly talk about the taste of the six major tea types. After all, I have little talent and knowledge, so I am wrong. Please give me some advice!

Green tea is divided into production areas with a vast area. The main production areas are Zhejiang Province, Sichuan Province, Anhui Province, Jiangxi Province and Guizhou Province. Among them, the green tea from the first three provinces is relatively representative.

Sichuan Province is rich in famous and high-quality green tea, such as the well-known Bamboo Leaf Green, high-grade Maofeng, etc. (I won’t list them all because I have never tasted them). These teas are mainly produced in the high mountain tea areas of Sichuan. Their main characteristics are high tenderness of raw materials, beautiful appearance, long aroma, good aftertaste and high ornamental value.

In addition to the well-known Longjing tea, the green tea in Zhejiang Province is mainly engaged in the import and export trade of bulk green tea. For example, fragrant tea (fried green) from Songyang, Zhejiang and pearl tea (round fried green) from Shaoxing and other places. Maybe you don’t drink a lot of tea in bulk, so I’ll focus on Longjing here. First of all, please remember: the main characteristics of West Lake Longjing are: green color, fragrant and mellow taste. In fact, there are three types of Longjing in Zhejiang, namely West Lake Longjing produced in the West Lake District of Hangzhou, Qiantang Longjing produced in the Hangzhou area outside the West Lake District, and Yuezhou Longjing (such as Dafo Longjing) produced in the Shaoxing area.

Generally speaking, the color of authentic West Lake Longjing tea is yellowish, while the color of Dafo Longjing tea is greener. Every spring tea is on the market. Some vendors use Dafo Longjing as West Lake Longjing, so everyone should be careful.

The more famous green teas in Anhui Province include Huangshan Maofeng, Lu'an Guapian and Taiping Houkui. These three teas really have their own merits, with extremely beautiful shapes and unique tastes. Although I drank less, the taste was really good.

The above is just a little experience of green tea. It is not in-depth and comprehensive enough, so please forgive me. I will sort out my feelings about other types of tea later!
