As a person who has worked in Dubai for four months, let me answer you: I think this is almost a slave society. All the charm you see is the life of a slave owner. Slave owners are their locals in the United Arab Emirates, accounting for 20% of the urban population.

Four months ago, I flew from France, because I needed an internship, so it sounded like wow.

Four months later, my internship will end in more than a month. If you ask me if I will come back to work here, I will answer that you will never.

I am an intern in a five-star hotel here. My working hours are 9 hours a day, 6 days a week. You're right. It's been six days. In fact, our employees here work five days a week except the manager and above, and all other employees, including the deputy manager, work six days a week.

Because it was a public holiday, I once worked the night shift for 12 days without rest.

As an intern, they paid me 1300 dirhams. Excluding the service charge, it is actually 1300 per month, which is equivalent to about 2 100 yuan. The salary of regular employees 1800 dirhams plus the service fee of about 200 per month is equivalent to about 3,400 yuan. And the price here is twice that of France.

The accommodation company provides regular shuttle buses to take you to the hotel every day and then take you back.

I have been in Dubai for four months and haven't been to many places praised by thousands of people.

Because of poverty. Because of fatigue.

I feel like a slave, and the minimum cost of living guarantees to drain all the labor force.

There are 500 employees in our hotel, none of them are local, all of them come from the Philippines, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and other Southeast Asian countries. Colleagues told me that a few years ago, they hired a local girl as an operator for grass-roots employees. A monthly salary of 60,000 dirhams is the minimum wage for local people in Dubai. Sorry, there is a mistake that needs to be corrected. Later, I asked my colleagues that the minimum wage for local people in Dubai is actually 10000 dirhams, but almost no one will get this ... this 60,000 dirhams is the minimum wage provided to that employee after our company negotiated.

The average price of the most common standard room in this hotel is 1000 dirhams a night, which our ordinary employees can't afford.

During these months here, my biggest feeling is that I am slowly losing my life. At first, I insisted on fitness, but later I gave up. I'm so tired. I go to work standing every day.

We are not exceptional. If you come to Dubai, you will find that the employees of supermarkets, hotels and even banks are not from China. In the most prosperous city in the world, they struggled to support all the feasts with meager wages.

The government does not care about their living conditions. A slave fell, and there are thousands of slaves waiting to fill the vacancy in Qian Qian. Lose weight and send benefits like gold. It is always available only to 20% local residents.

Picking up garbage to make a fortune is not the real Dubai.
