The labyrinthine alleys are full of historical sites.

There are so many cultural relics and historic sites in the old county town of Pucheng that they are almost impenetrable. I was with local friends when I went to Pucheng to play. Friends took us through the streets, through an ordinary alley in Guanzhong, and we saw the tall and towering Wang Ding Ancestral Temple gatehouse in the alley of the old city.

Wang Ding was a famous patriot in Qing Dynasty. Resolutely oppose "treaty of nanking" to remonstrate the Yellow Emperor with death? This story has been circulating for hundreds of years. Where is the Wangs ancestral hall? Daren Lane? , still rely on? Daren Lane? Changed. The descendants still live in the ancestral hall of the Wang family, which is not open to the public. However, a few steps away is the Wang Ding Memorial Hall, which is a scenic spot to visit.

A few minutes' walk from Wang Ding Memorial Hall is the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall at No.6 Baba Lane. This memorial hall was rebuilt from the former residence of Wang Ding's brother Wang Yiqian. Lin Zexu once lived here for three months to mourn his teacher Wang Ding.

In addition to the exhibition hall commemorating Lin Zexu, this Guanzhong quadrangle itself is also very interesting. The three sculptures are exquisite in art and equipped with many cultural plaques, which are worth visiting carefully. Please refer to my last travel notes for details:

1 hour Around Xi 'an, there is a rare quadrangle in Qing Dynasty, where Lin Zexu lived for three months.

From the memorial hall of Lin Zexu in Bayi Lane, our friend took us around several times and arrived at Beihuaiyuan Lane. There are two scenic spots in this alley: General Yang Hucheng Memorial Hall and imperial academy Museum in Qing Dynasty.

Yang Hucheng Memorial Hall was built on the basis of Yang Hucheng's former residence, and imperial academy in Qing Dynasty is the only well-preserved imperial academy complex in Shaanxi, which is rare in China and worth visiting.

Wandering around the roadside are cultural relics of the national name.

In addition to the maze of alleys, walking on the bustling main road Hongqi Road Street, we still? Encounter? Bought a cultural relic with a national name. Is this an unusual wall carved with six dragons? Six Dragon Walls? .

The Six Dragons Wall is the shadow wall in front of the Confucian Temple in Pucheng, and its history is even longer than the Kowloon Wall in the Forbidden City in Beijing. Originally, this wall was in the Confucian Temple, but what is the area of the Confucian Temple? Shrinkage? What will this wall become? Street artifact? .

It is worth mentioning that the Confucian Temple in Pucheng is now also the Pucheng Museum. Although it is at the county level, there are some national-level precious cultural relics in it, which are also very cattle.

Liu longbi

I have been to Pucheng several times over the years, but I still haven't finished visiting here. I can only say that there are too many cultural relics in this ancient city. Pucheng is 0/30 km away from Xi 'an/Kloc-and about 2 hours away from go on road trip, which is very suitable for a one-day tour.
