Interview with alumni: sailing in adversity
"Even the smallest sail can sail" —— Wang Wencheng, President of Class 06 Student Union.
Me: Hello, senior! We all know that you were the president of the Student Union in 2006. During your tenure as a student cadre, what are your experiences and gains in serving your classmates?
Wang Wencheng, a senior: We are the first students in Quanshan Campus of Teachers College. After entering the campus, the brand-new teaching building and lush weeds are still vivid. At that time, the work of the student union was running back and forth between the headquarters, the west campus and the new campus. Under the guidance of the teachers of the Communist Youth League Committee, our generation of young people participated in weaving the vigorous development of their alma mater with their passionate youth.
Me: What are the unforgettable memories in college life?
Senior Wang Wencheng: I can't forget my young freshman. In order to exercise my courage, I signed up to join the competition management department, which is responsible for maintaining the irregular queuing order in the canteen of the new campus. I can't forget that under the guidance of Secretary Ma Ping, Secretary Shan Jie and Teacher Pan Tianying, I mobilized and led the student cadres of the whole school to hold the swearing-in meeting for the first time to meet the undergraduate teaching evaluation of the Ministry of Education, and carried out a series of work. I participated in the activities of Anhui Federation of Students and Huainan Federation of Students, and I still remember the first time I went to the platform. I can't forget that, with the help of the teachers of the Youth League Committee, Huainan Teachers College set up the Student Red Cross Society to carry out love work in the school for the snowstorm and earthquake in early 2008 ... There is no end to learning, and the years are short, and then I hurried to the Teachers College and graduated in a hurry.
Me: In your career development, what is the most unique feeling that the school gives you?
Wang Wencheng, a senior student: The learning and growing experience of Huainan Normal University has enriched my knowledge and given me a confident attitude!
Me: What influence does school have on your personal development after graduation?
Wang Wencheng, a senior student: After graduation, I got a position as a university teacher. This position originally belonged to a graduate degree, and it also belonged to the office of a central enterprise that only recruited graduates from key undergraduate colleges ... In particular, some ideas about team operation and management that Mr. Shan Jie taught us at that time are still guiding my regional dealer management, which has enabled me to surpass the knowledge field of normal university in advance and broaden my thinking horizon; Professor Fang Chuan directed my thesis on folklore, which was published in national academic journals after graduation.
Me: Senior, what do you think you should accumulate for your future career and life during college? At the same time, give some opinions and suggestions to the younger brothers and sisters ~!
Wang Wencheng, a senior student: University is our transition from a student to a social person. In addition to studying professional knowledge hard, participating in social practice activities and improving the ability of organization and coordination in work, especially the ability of team operation, are valuable wealth accumulated during our student work. I hope that my schoolmates will cherish the present and have more confidence in the future!
Me: Thank you for your inculcation. Finally, say a word of blessing to my alma mater. I am very happy to interview seniors on such a special day today. I wish you happy every day!
Wang Wencheng, a senior student: No matter where we go, we are all part of Huainan Normal University. No matter how the years change, the hearts of students are still full of young people's blood. Our efforts today are the take-off of Teachers College tomorrow! Finally, I wish my alma mater a brighter Ming Dynasty!
