Shuangcheng poetry

Pei Jingfu's Two Poems of Hami.

In the thirty-second year of Guangxu (1906), Pei Jingfu and his party arrived in Hami, an important town in Dongjiang. At this time, since it left Guangzhou, it has been the early spring season without dates in the second year. The land here has also begun to melt. In Hami, Pei Jingfu met with Shamu Husut, King of Hami, and visited Zuo Wenxiang Temple, which was later built to commemorate Zuo Tang Zong's counter-insurgency achievements in Xinjiang. In Hami, Pei Jingfu wrote two poems about Hami. Pei Jingfu wrote in his poem:

"The snow in Tianshan Mountain has frozen and melted,

The setting sun shines red in Hami Twin Cities.

Li Hu Tea Dock Peach Blossom Willow,

There is no such good spring breeze in the Central Plains. "

"Walking through white thorns and yellow reeds,

Wheat is as green as grass after a break.

Playing a song with Ji Lang,

I am not drunk and live in Yiwu. "

Pei Jingfu (1854- 1926) had a relatively low rank among thousands of exiled officials in Qing Dynasty. However, he is world-famous for his unique belief experience and works, such as Ku·Ku or The Kunlun Mountains in Hehai.
