Joke Collection Website - Mood Talk - Live in the present, live in the present.
Live in the present, live in the present.
Just like nature. The grass grows and the warbler flies, rising in the east and setting in the west, and goes to Qiu Lai in spring. Every plant and every living thing in nature has evolved safely in its own orbit.
For example, a tree is stable if you catch any moment. Even though he experienced a storm, he was blown away, blown down and blown to death, he remained silent and quiet. There will be no running, no hysteria, but existence, evolution, obeying one's own destiny and the will of nature. It's not against the law at all. Of course, this stable tree is not as dead as a stone, it is full of vitality. Every cell of the tree is moving and differentiating, natural and natural, without deliberate man-made and anxiety. Of course not, because trees don't have as many thoughts, ideas and desires as people. So he is in line with the Tao. He lives in the present. Trees are like this. Everything in nature is like this. Except people.
In fact, the human body is the same as trees and even natural creatures. It seems that the body is constant all the time, and every cell, every blood vessel and every pulse has endless changes. It's just that people are different from everything in nature. People are conscious and thoughtful. If they don't go through deliberate cultivation, such as those eminent monks or gentlemen and sages, they will be dragged down by karma habits and often get out of hand. Good and evil are impermanent, moody and delusional. So it is difficult for people to live in the present like trees. Even people often violate the Tao and do all kinds of reckless things, and they deserve it. (Extensible)
Therefore, living in the present is a state of getting rid of delusion, conforming to nature and doing nothing. But it's not really empty and lifeless. He is the true face of each of us, the initial state. For example, "Dafang Guangfo Huayan Jing" Volume 17: "Everything in the three realms, such as Tathagata, does not care about the initial heart." This budding heart is everyone's initial state. Only by returning to this state can we truly live in the present, be silent and happy. (Can expand the allusions after enlightenment and before enlightenment)
Of course, everyone will say, this is too difficult. If you can do it, you can become a Buddha. Yes, it is. But it is hard to deny the possibility of this achievement, which can be achieved by everyone. The so-called Buddha means that everyone can become a Buddha; Mencius said that everyone can be Yao and Shun. It's hard for us to yearn for it, and it's hard to believe it. It's hard to do it occasionally, but it won't last forever.
For example, people who practice meditation can enter this silent state during meditation and meditation. But as soon as I left this country, I went back to my original appearance. Therefore, this feeling is not the feeling of Buddha, but the feeling of Buddha is a round feeling, which is completely accessible at any time and does not depend on any form or condition. The serenity and sense in the process of meditation, like a lamp in a room, only shines a little. Buddha's sleep is as bright as the sun.
For another example, we ordinary people are compassionate. We completely put ourselves down and give ourselves to others for the sake of others. There are so many heroes who gave their lives in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, earthquake relief workers who gave their lives for their country in the earthquake, and volunteers, nurses and doctors who ran to the front line of the epidemic regardless of their lives. These are all manifestations of our compassionate nature. We can only appear if there is something inside us. Therefore, we are the same as Buddhas and sages in our own bright nature.
But why are we not sages? We are full of evil deeds, troubles and ignorance. Because our quiet nature is covered with impurities, just like a dark cloud covering the sun. Occasionally listening to the scriptures or suddenly realizing something in things, suddenly the clouds are clear and the light is transmitted, then that moment is Buddha nature. But the next moment, dark clouds rolled in and it was dark again. Therefore, the difference between us and sages lies in the occasional sincerity, kindness and sage's thoughts, sincerity and kindness. Therefore, Buddhism says that the heart, Buddha and all beings are one. In this Buddha nature, it is an equal unity. It's just that the sages have awakened through their own practice, transcending these dark ignorance covered by nature. We're still inside.
Therefore, the altar of the Six Ancestors said: Once you practice, you have to wait for the Buddha yourself. Ordinary people are buddhas, and troubles are bodhi. The former fan, that is, ordinary people; Reading the classics and enlightenment, that is, Buddha. Buddha and all beings are only thinking about one thing. It's just that this idea has to be cultivated all the time, and after chanting Buddha, it just can't be cultivated. However, it still needs to be repaired. As long as you have a firm will and strong confidence, you will never turn back, and you will realize it. Even if it can't be achieved, it's better than not repairing it. This is what Tao Te Ching said. Staff sergeant is diligent and knowledgeable. Sergeant heard that if you survive, you will die. The corporal smiled when he heard this, but it was not enough not to laugh. We want to be a staff sergeant and devote our lives to the consciousness of monasticism. This is the most meaningful pursuit of life: to achieve infinite consciousness with limited life. (We look at ourselves. Have we really made up our minds? Have we found the real direction of life? )
Therefore, to establish a state of living in the present and living in the present, we must first set our aspirations and proceed from the quietness of mindfulness, sincerity and kindness. Constantly studying Buddhism, learning the classics of sages and sages, and driving away the deep-rooted misconceptions that plague our hearts are dark clouds, but people's misconceptions and habits are much more stubborn than dark clouds and as hard as cement. But no matter how difficult it is, as long as you make up your mind, you can shovel it with a shovel and a drill. (Reflecting on our own habits)
Therefore, I believe that all of us have the possibility to become sages, and we are determined to make this our goal. This is the first step, called determination. If you don't stand up, you will accomplish nothing. Of course, this goal of sanctification cannot be achieved in one step, but can be decomposed. For example, start by doing good deeds and being a good person. We are human beings, of course, we must deal with human nature first. How to cultivate human nature, Confucianism gives a clear path, including two aspects. One is the personality practice system with "filial piety and faithfulness" as the core, and the other is the interpersonal relationship system with filial piety, respect for brothers, respect for ministers, loyalty to women and obedience to friends as the core. These are fully expounded in the four books of Confucianism. For example, the university has three cardinal guides and eight orders, the golden mean, five principles and three virtues, and the nine classics of governing the country. Mencius and The Analects of Confucius vividly explained this system of personality practice and interpersonal relationship through quotations. Everyone must go deep into it and practice. Not optically active. Once you go deep into it, you really understand that the ancients said that books have their own golden houses and books have their own Yan Ruyu. This is not a lie. You will have great confidence. It is a kind of confidence and certainty after access.
?
The second step is to find the path and method and find your own life mentor. The university says that everything has its origin, everything has its beginning and end, and knowing the order is a shortcut. This end point is sanctification, and this starting point is our present practice. This sequence is the second from the present starting point to the end point. Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism all have specific paths of practice, aiming at different roots and different levels. The so-called cultivation is the so-called teaching. Specifically, I hope everyone can go deep into Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, systematically understand the systems of the three schools, and finally find a method that suits them or a method that suits them at different stages. No matter which one you choose, it is caused by personal reasons and your own stage. If you choose, you should calm down and fix it. Besides, we need to find a guide. You need to keep your eyes open and choose a truly cultivated tutor (good knowledge) to lead the way. Just like walking in the dark, you need to find a lamp. Of course, in the end, it is to light up your heart. As the saying goes, you lost your teacher's degree and realized your own.
To give you a better understanding, let me make an analogy. For example, if you want to go to Beijing, you have to go and you have to die. That's your goal. But you are in Suzhou now, so you set the route and mode, whether it is direct or transit, whether it is plane, train or bus. This is the choice of path and method. The role of the tutor is that when you arrive in Beijing, he tells you that this is not the final destination, but a stop you must pass, and where you should go next. The tutor has got a clear understanding, can clearly see your present state, and point out a road suitable for you, waiting for you at the real end. Everyone has his own way, so there are 84 thousand ways. Just because there are too many methods and too many tutors, we should make a good choice.
Whether the instructor himself is quiet enough. It is very important to show each of his students the real way to reach the finish line. Of course, if you can't meet a tutor with a particularly high level of accomplishment and your stage is not enough, then you must choose good knowledge that combines knowledge with practice, is virtuous, can move you, inspire you and convince you. As long as you are sincere enough and firm enough. You can meet the most suitable mentor at every stage. If you don't meet them, don't worry, learn from nature, classics and everyone around you. When fate comes, you can meet it naturally.
But don't follow a fake tutor. The so-called false mentor is a mentor with a wrong direction, even an evil mentor. Some people have reached a higher level, but they are actually just a post station, and they don't know where the end point is and what kind of scenery it is. Just stand by yourself and let everyone worship and follow. You talk nonsense. You have reached the Tao. As long as you follow it, you can achieve it. Collect disciples everywhere and engage in personal worship. You are not allowed to learn from others, such a tutor must not follow. Or you have studied for a long time, but your heart is getting more and more uneasy and timid, then you must be mistaken. But people often have to take many detours to find the right way. Just like Edison failed more than 6000 times before finally finding the tungsten wire. We should be patient and firm.
The third step is to put your life into practice. In this process, we must be firm, encounter setbacks, doubt our direction, and we must not give up easily. On the contrary, we should embrace setbacks, because success is achieved by constantly surpassing failure. This is what we often call trouble, namely Bodhi. Why worry is bodhi. If you can cross and surpass your troubles, the process of crossing and surpassing is the process of your wisdom. Everyone has his own wisdom, but the way to develop it is to use it directly. And this requires courage, perseverance, and that there are green hills. Through our habits, our illusions, our troubles. Like a drill bit, water comes out after drilling to a certain depth. When water comes out, it means seeing nature in the heart, seeing nature in the heart and using it quietly, which means wisdom. Everyone has the water of wisdom or quiet nature, but not everyone can come out. Some people haven't even drilled it. Or after drilling for several times, my hands were blistered and my body was tired, so I gave up.
Bodhi's self-nature was originally quiet, but with this heart, he became a Buddha.
