Indications:

Soothe the liver and clear away heat. Treat high blood pressure, lymphadenitis, and cough due to lung heat.

1 "Qinghai Commonly Used Chinese Herbal Medicine Handbook": Clears liver fire and disperses stagnation.

2 "Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Drug Illustrated Book": heat-clearing. Treat jaundice fever, febrile venereal disease, headache, and ocular nebula.

Usage and dosage

Oral administration: decoction, 2 to 4 qian; or take into powder.

Attached prescription

1. Treat lymph node tuberculosis and lymphadenitis: four qian of Prunella vulgaris, three qian of Yuan Shen, five qian of oyster, and three qian of Fritillaria vulgaris. Decoction in water.

2. Treat high blood pressure: 3 qian of Prunella vulgaris, 4 qian of Uncaria, 3 qian of white peony root, 4 qian of Cassia seed. Decoction in water.

3. Large thyroid abscess: Prunella vulgaris 4 qian, seaweed 5 qian, kelp 5 qian, gentian 5 qian, fried malt 5 qian. ***Grind into fine powder, take 2 qian each time, twice a day with boiled water. Clinical Application

To treat chronic bronchitis, take Qinglan heterophylla decoction in water, twice a day, 3 qian each time. 788 cases were clinically observed, with a significant rate of 74.61% and an effective rate of 93.66%.
