Taihu Lake in Wuxi, also known as Zhenze and Giant Canal, covers an area of about 2,250 square kilometers. It is one of the five largest freshwater lakes in China and a national key scenic spot. Yuantouzhu, a peninsula on the northwest coast of Taihu Lake, is named after the huge stones protruding into the lake like floating catfish, and it is one of the main attractions of Taihu Lake Scenic Area.

On May 1 day, my family of eight took a bus from Changzhou to Taihu Lake in Wuxi. When we came to Yuantouzhu, the stone archway in front of us welcomed us with huge arms. "Taihu Lake is a beautiful place" five unique Chinese characters shine, which was written by Guo Moruo. Entering the gate, the tour guide led us to the "Nianzhu Chuntao" scenic spot. This was rebuilt on the basis of the "Hengyun Villa" built by Juren Yang in the late Qing Dynasty. There are strange flowers and plants everywhere. In front of the ancestral hall, there is a tree with crooked branches. Guess what tree this is? Ha, you don't know, it's a locust tree. Because of its branch-like talons, it is also called talons locust. We bypassed Han Wanxuan and took to Changchun Bridge. The arch of the bridge is relatively high, forming a beautiful circle with the reflection. On the long banks on both sides of the bridge, Japanese cherry blossoms are planted, and the towering arches make the cherry blossom long banks look relaxed. This long dam is paved with gravel. The tour guide asked, "Do you know why it is paved with gravel?" "Peace through the years!" I replied. "How clever! The answer is correct. " I was surprised, because I just said it casually!

When I came to Taihu Lake, I saw 36,000 hectares of smoke waves, suitable shades, 72 peaks ethereal, and water and sky were the same color. She has both the majesty of the sea and the beauty of the lake. It is really "the mountain is not high or handsome, and the lake is not deep or wide". There are mountains outside the mountains, and there is a natural map of the lake in the lake! I was intoxicated by the beautiful scenery in front of me. I jumped into the lake excitedly, ran on the beach, played in the lake and took pictures on the rocks. What a refreshing feeling!

Then, we took a speedboat to Taihu Wonderland, one of the most beautiful islands in the center of Taihu Lake. The speedboat held its head high and headed for the target quickly. Wave after wave of warm spring breeze comes, and clouds of snow-white spray rush back, which really makes people want to shout: "cool"!

When I came to the fairy island of Taihu Lake, the trees on the island were lush, the winding path was secluded, the waterfalls flew and the silver flowers splashed. Together with fairy statues and sculptures, people feel novel and mysterious. We climbed the "Japanese steps" and came to the "Palace of Night". The mighty "Four Heavenly Kings" made me feel scared, and the solemn Jade Emperor made me awe. Climb to the top and face a touch of green mountain cornices; A lake with clear water and white sails, we seem to be in a paradise on earth and a fairyland on earth, and our mood suddenly becomes clear. No wonder Mr. Zhao Puchu, president of the Chinese Buddhist Association, once said, "The scenery in the round head is better than the sky." Today's tour really deserves its reputation!
