Fourth grade composition: grey weekend

Ah! It's weekend again! I opened my eyes and saw the bright sunshine outside the window, which covered the earth with a golden coat. What a beautiful Sunday!

"At dawn, get up! Let's go for an outing! " Just as I was about to lie in bed for a while, I heard my father crying excitedly. "Great!" I jumped out of bed happily.

After breakfast, my father took me on the bus to Xuefeng and soon arrived at Xuefeng. After getting off the bus, we walked along the path to Xuefeng Reservoir. Along the way, we walked and played. The wild chrysanthemums on the roadside are blooming in clusters, purple and yellow, very cute. The leaves on the hillside have begun to turn yellow under the sunlight, and occasionally one or two pieces fall from the air, just like butterflies dancing. From time to time, the cheerful cries of birds came from the Woods, as if welcoming us.

After turning a few hillsides, Xuefeng Reservoir is here. The reservoir in autumn is really beautiful! The blue water reflects the blue sky, surrounded by mountains and rivers, and several old uncles are sitting leisurely by the lake fishing. I ran around excitedly, picking up fallen leaves and picking wild flowers. Dad hung the hammock we brought in the Woods by the lake and swung leisurely.

How time flies! Grandpa Sun will go down the mountain before I have had enough fun. Grandpa, who fished, packed his things and prepared to go home with the harvested fish. Dad and I had to pack up and go back. When we came to the ravine under the reservoir, we suddenly saw a crab on the roadside. This unexpected discovery made my father and I very excited. We both shouted, "Catch crabs!" "I ran into the ditch. We walked along the ditch and touched it. There are many crabs in autumn. By the time we got to the mizoguchi, we had caught a big bag full.
