Don? Du Mu

Snow coat, snow hair, jade mouth, fish in the shadow of the stream.

The blue mountains are reflected in the distance, and the night breeze in pear flower falls is a tree.

Translation:

Egret is dressed in snow-white clothes, with snow-white hair and a sapphire mouth. They fish in groups in the stream, and their beautiful bodies are reflected in the clear stream.

Suddenly, they flew because of fear, with green hills on their backs and flying far away. The white figure dances like a pear flower in the evening breeze.

Egret is a seven-character quatrain written by Du Mu, a poet in Tang Dynasty. This is a poem about objects. The first sentence of this poem describes the appearance characteristics of cranes, the second sentence describes the fishing scene of cranes, and the third and fourth sentences describe the beautiful and vivid pictures of them flying away in surprise. This poem uses metaphors in many places, which is novel and unique. It's beautiful and poetic.
