Talk to the body

Talk to the body

Recently, my body broke out in a small rash, and I suddenly felt that my immune function began to decline. My body is reminding me that I need a good rest, and my body is telling me that I need to take good care of myself.

I suddenly found that I am such a careless and unloving woman. Busy, I am always attracted by the noise of the outside world. I often feel young and in great shape. I often forget to talk to my body, ignore the communication with my body, and ignore my understanding and feelings about my body. However, I didn't realize that we will and must rely on our own bodies from birth to death. How to know our body and how to keep a dialogue with it is a problem worth studying and thinking about.

My body is my best and most important friend. It will accompany us through life and face all kinds of climate change with joy and sadness. And I listen to my body's voice too little, often ignoring its needs and not taking good care of it, so he is reminding me, come on ~ look at me, I am very important! The only thing that can be loyal is our bodies.

Consciousness is the beginning of change, so I immediately supplement proper nutrition from my work instead of just filling my stomach. I listen to my favorite music on my way home, instead of staring at my mobile phone reading or official WeChat account. I am very important. I should cherish my body. When I get off the bus, I will dance with the music for a while and do micro-sports, which is not only pleasant, but also beneficial to my health! Along the path, I touched all kinds of flowers and beautiful bonsai trees from time to time, walked on the streets with national flags and restaurants, and looked at the lights of colorful shops and the flowing rotating waterwheels. Young couples came face to face and held hands. Suddenly I feel that life is really beautiful. I want to take good care of my health and enjoy my life.

Next, I will take my body and soul to experience delicious food, beautiful scenery, starry sky and spring flowers! I want to know my body more patiently, give it the best nutrition and make it healthy.

I believe that the more I love my body, the healthier I will be.

Starting from 20211118, I will practice the following body dialogues.

1- Emotion: Do something happy every day, write and exercise.

2- Diet: Balanced nutrition and good habits

Have breakfast before 8: 30 in the morning and dinner before 6: 30 in the afternoon.

3- Exercise: At least 10000 steps and 100 jumps every day.

4- Thinking: Reading 1 hour, thinking late.

5- Love: Keep interacting with your husband every day and talk about love.

Talk to your father and son every few days and get in touch with others.

The above seemingly ordinary things seem to be commonplace, but many times we are always caught in trivial things and busy, and finally forget the most important goal. I suddenly realized that there was something wrong with my time management. No wonder I have never been a good time official.

In time management theory, there is a famous "four quadrants" theory, which divides the things faced into four quadrants:

The first quadrant is important and urgent;

The second quadrant is important but not urgent;

The third quadrant is urgent but not important;

The fourth quadrant is neither urgent nor important.

More and more people realize that exercise and nutrition are both necessary and important for health and beauty. But in most people's minds, sports nutrition belongs to the second quadrant, which is important but not urgent. It doesn't seem to matter if you don't exercise for a while. There are always other things before exercise. As a result, every day we always find ourselves caught in the troubles of the first quadrant.

In the book Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, the third habit is "the first thing to do". Author Stephen Covey believes that how to distinguish priorities and cultivate organizational ability is the essence of time management.

Covey put forward two questions from the beginning:

1-"Is there anything in your life that can completely change your life, but you didn't do it?"

2- "Is there anything in your current life that can completely change your work situation, but you haven't done it?"

The answer is mostly the second quadrant. Life will change because it is important, but it is ignored because it is not urgent enough.

But as long as we start doing these things at once, the efficiency will be greatly improved. In the field of time management, this is called the Pareto principle-80% of the results are achieved with 20% of the activities.

The second quadrant trading activity is the core of effective self-management. It takes time to repair windows. Don't chase flies all the time.

Let's think about how to learn to communicate with the body.

1, think about the organ you want to talk to.

Sometimes you can touch that part (such as stomach, heart, etc.). ), it's like "shaking hands" with it. You have to really get into the feeling of talking to it.

2. You can speak in words or silently during the dialogue.

It is very important to relax the organ you are talking to.

For example, when talking to the stomach, relax the stomach first.

It's best to sit still and relax during the conversation.

5. The important technical link is "showing eyebrows".

Smile and talk to some part or all of your body as an old friend.

6. Our body is a unified whole. No matter which organ you highlight, don't forget the whole body.

7. Don't perfunctory your body, but from the heart. Any part of the body, any organ, has been with us for decades and has never been absent from work for decades. The effort is really amazing.

8. Timely affirmation

If the conversation with the body (or an organ) is effective at the moment, such as a stomachache, then it will not hurt after the conversation, and it will be tired to face it squarely. If your eyes are comfortable after the conversation, you should "confirm" it at this moment.

Affirm the effect and consolidate it immediately.

Talk to your body, cherish your body and cherish your life!
