What are the major air crashes in the history of China?

I have to say that the safety level of civil aviation in China is at least one of the best in the world, if not second to none. We need to praise the efforts made by relevant personnel of China civil aviation industry in this half century. However, there have been several very tragic air crashes in China's civil aviation history.

The air crash of China Southern Airlines Flight 3943 (also known as "1.24 air crash" and "1992 Guilin air crash") occurred in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and the flight flew from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to Qifeng in Guilin on the day of the incident. It crashed in the back hill (tianmashan) of Xiangtuling Village, Di Yang, Yangshuo County, about 32km away from the airport, and the passenger plane disintegrated. Later, nearly 90% of the wreckage of the passenger plane was buried deep underground due to excessive pressure, and all 33 passengers and 8 crew members on board/KLOC-0 were killed. This air crash was a first-class flight accident, the highest death toll in Chinese mainland at that time, and the sixth highest death toll in the 737 series. According to the official investigation, the failure of the automatic throttle valve of the right engine of the plane and the crew's failure to find and deal with the error in time were the reasons for the air crash.

The last air crash in China was 20 10 nine years ago. The air crash of Henan Airlines Flight 8387 (also known as Yichun air crash) occurred in Yichun, Heilongjiang on August 24, 20 10. This is another air crash in China following the air crash of China Eastern Airlines Flight 52 1 10 on October 2, 2004, which ended the record of China Civil Aviation's 2 102-day safe flight. It is also the time since the E- 190 passenger plane was put into use. After the incident investigation, the captain of the whole army was charged with the crime of a major flight accident, which became the first case in China to investigate the criminal responsibility of the pilot of the air crash.
