The Natural Environment of Xiping Township

Xiping, located in Anxi, is dominated by mountains, which are continuous and crisscross. The terrain is steep, the relative height is large, the valley is narrow and the water is fast. Most of them are between 500 and 800 meters above sea level. Xiping is rugged, straight to the point, with low mountains rolling continuously, distributed on both sides of the stream and gentle slope. Most of the year is foggy, which provides unique natural conditions for the growth of tea trees. Famous teas such as Tieguanyin and Benshan all originated from this magical land. On July 20th, 2002, Xiping Town was recognized as "the birthplace of Tieguanyin tea in China" by the organizing committee of recommendation and publicity activities for characteristic towns in China.

Xiping Town, which is a hilly area, inclines from northwest to southeast.
