But after I passed the first level, I felt that everything was unnecessary.

The tank 300 tested by Che Jujun is equipped with a 2.0T engine, with maximum power 167kW and maximum torque of 387n·m, matched with ZF 8AT gearbox, "three locks" and non-loaded body. Off-road software includes 2H (high-speed two-wheel drive), 4H (high-speed four-wheel drive) and 4L (low-speed four-wheel drive). Off-road white can also easily cope with complex road conditions.

However, the driving mode selection knob is "stepless adjustment", which has no limit and is easy to be misoperated and over-operated, which is not conducive to blind operation. Because it is a test car, the test drive is to find its faults, and these problems are also fed back to the manufacturer for handling.

Due to the combination of these software and hardware, when the tank 300 is in most off-road obstacles, it only needs to switch the corresponding road mode, open the rear lock and adopt the low-speed four-wheel drive mode, which is enough to cope with complex road conditions.

Among all the cross-country events, the most exciting ones are the swimming pool and the deep pit. The maximum wading depth of the tank 300 can reach 700 mm. After entering the deep wading pit, you don't have to worry about the water entering the engine and engine room, and you can spend it smoothly without pressure. Even if you can't see the road, just look at the central control screen image in the car and you can "blind exercise". Of course, it is also inseparable from the body design blessing of 33 approach angle, 34 departure angle and 224mm minimum ground clearance. Although I broke out in a cold sweat, fortunately, the function of the car is complete enough to pass perfectly.

In addition, there are steep slopes, gravel slopes, narrow road turns and turning sections. This kind of hard-core off-road vehicle has always thought that it should feel like a small bench when sitting, but the seat feels very comfortable, the softness and lumbar support are in place, and the main driver also has a seat massage function.

The wheelbase is 2750mm, and there is plenty of space in the rear row, but the backrest angle of the rear seat is a bit straight. Considering the non-load-bearing body, if the rear seat is tilted too much, it is easy to cause dizziness by boat.

3. What is hard-core off-road driving on urban roads?

Tank 300 is equipped with a Honeycomb-easy-to-build 2.0T engine. At the initial stage, the throttle is adjusted slightly, so that this big guy with a weight of 2 tons will not appear "dull" when driving.

ZF 8AT gearbox rarely shifts gears when driving smoothly, but the shift feedback is obvious when driving violently and forcibly downshifting. Compared with ZF 8AT equipped by other luxury brands, 8AT on tank 300 is slightly boring.

Non-load-bearing body, there is nothing uncomfortable when driving on a flat road, but the feeling of high-speed cornering is definitely not as good as that of a city SUV, and it will feel a little floating. The tank 300 also strengthens the adjustment of suspension damping, minimizing the sense of estrangement between the chassis and the carriage. When the speed bump is too hard, it may be that the at tire is also the reason for the excellent suspension adjustment, and the head jump is obvious, which slightly reduces the comfort of the occupants in the car.

Che Jujun believes that these jumps may come from the front axle jumps, and manufacturers can adjust the matching degree of suspension springs more finely in the later stage to ensure the comfort of the passenger compartment.

As for NVH, because it is a test vehicle, double-layer laminated glass has not been used in the front row. However, when the speed is 60km/h, the wind noise is not obvious, and it will be better to add double-layer laminated glass to the mass production car in the later stage. However, the sound feedback of the engine is still obvious, which may be the reason for the trial installation. I hope it can be optimized later. After all, no matter how comfortable the seat is, you can't sleep under the stage.
