2. Introduction to Okinawa attractions

The biggest difference between Okinawa and Japan is that Okinawa is greatly influenced by local culture, unlike Japan where everything is local. As a tourist destination, Okinawa is still worth visiting in terms of scenery and folk customs. Such as Ryukyu Village, Manzamo, Ocean Aquarium in Okinawa, etc. They are all relatively good tourist attractions. Especially the aquarium, there is a beautiful emerald beach nearby, which is very beautiful.

1. Cultural differences between Okinawa and Japan.

Japanese American culture is mainly related to Japan and rarely integrates with other countries or national cultures. Okinawa is different. It is located between Japan's Kyushu Island and China's Taiwan Province. The country here used to be called the Ryukyu Kingdom. By the end of the 19th century, Ryukyu began to be gradually invaded by other countries, and was later incorporated into Okinawa Prefecture by Japan. During the Ming Dynasty, it was a dependent state of China and had close relations with Central and South Asian countries such as China, Japan, and South Korea. Therefore, the intersection of many cultures has a unique national flavor.

2. Worth a visit.

Okinawa, known as the southern part of Japan's Hawaii, is a famous subtropical maritime climate area. The local economic development is mainly driven by tourism. Because Okinawa was influenced by the cultures of various countries in its early days, it formed its own unique cultural customs. Although most Okinawan civilians died in the war, this was not the case. Don't change the culture here. In addition to being an island, the natural scenery is also very unique. From a tourism perspective, the customs and natural scenery here are worth seeing. Those who are interested in Okinawa can consider traveling.

3. Main tourist attractions

Personally, I think there are three major tourist attractions in Okinawa that you must visit, namely Ryukyu Village, Manzumo and Marine Aquarium. Ryukyu Village and Manzamo are the most prominent places in Okinawa, where you can feel the charm of different cultures. The marine aquarium has ocean scenery where you can see the magic and beauty of nature.

3. Introduction to Okinawa Island

Okinawa people speak Ryukyuan and Japanese, and English is widely used.

Ryukyu is the language of the Ryukyus, including the Amami Islands and Okinawa Islands, also referred to as Okinawa. But in fact, Okinawa and Ryukyu are two different concepts. The Ryukyuan languages ??include Amami, Kunstu, Suri, Miyako, Gona and Kamojuzan dialects. There are different opinions about the origin of Ryukyu language. After the 20th century, linguists have a relatively consistent view that the languages ??of Southern Ryukyu and Northern Ryukyu have different origins. Amami, Kunigami, and Hisari are called Northern Ryukyu.

4. Okinawa tourist attractions

Because I just visited Okinawa in September, I have answered a lot of questions about Okinawa recently. My headline account has also been updating the content of my trip to Okinawa recently. Those who are interested can take a look.

As for whether Okinawa is worth visiting, different people may have different opinions. Judging from my itinerary, it is still worth a visit. There are several reasons:

1. It is close to China. Many domestic cities have direct flights to Naha, and the air tickets are relatively cheap. If you buy a ticket one month in advance, it costs 1,800 round-trip. Because September is still the peak season, it may be cheaper at other times. It takes less than two hours to fly from Shanghai to Naha.

2. The climate is good and the temperature is suitable because it is a maritime climate. There is no severe cold in winter and no scorching heat in summer, but the ultraviolet rays are stronger.

3. The tourist facilities are relatively good. Okinawa is equivalent to a third-tier city in Japan, and its consumption level is lower than that of first- and second-tier cities in Japan. There are many resort hotels in the north with high-end facilities, so you can just stay in the hotel.

There are a variety of low-end and high-end serviced apartments here to meet various consumer needs.

4. Beautiful natural scenery. Okinawa is long and narrow, with a long coastline, beaches, coconut trees, sugar cane forests, pineapple gardens, botanical gardens, and island scenery. We especially recommend Seto Nagashima, which is close to the airport. It has the little Santorini of the East, and all of Okinawa has the Hawaii of the East. Okinawa Blue and Jelly Sea are both famous labels of Okinawa. If you have time, you can go to nearby islands, beaches, and snorkeling. It is said that Shiheng Island is the most beautiful and needs to be reached by plane.

5. The parent-child facilities in Okinawa are very good and very suitable for parent-child travel. There are famous long slides and various parent-child playgrounds in several major parks. When I was doing the guide, I saw many people taking their children on vacation.

Of course, transportation in Okinawa is not very convenient because of its long and narrow shape. If you have an international driver's license, you can rent a car and drive yourself. It is very convenient to be familiar with buses and cars. Or charter a flight, but the cost will be higher.

The above is for reference only.

I have traveled all over Lily’s m@万水千山, a person who loves traveling. In recent years, I have been to many places. Follow me and see the world together.

5. Map of Okinawa tourist attractions

In September, I just traveled to Okinawa for 10 days. Tell me how I feel. Transportation costs in Okinawa are relatively high and are a considerable travel expense. Reasonable accommodation arrangements are very important. I think there are three options for accommodation in Okinawa:

1. Live in Naha City.

If the travel time is short, it is recommended to live in a place with convenient transportation in Naha City. It does not have to be near the monorail station, but you can also take the bus. Okinawa is generally considered to be inaccessible. In fact, in my opinion, buses in Okinawa extend in all directions. However, because Okinawa is very long (see Figure 1 below), the bus sometimes detours and does not stop at every stop, so the waiting time is very long. Therefore, it is important to check arrival times in advance. If you miss the bus, you may have to wait a long time next time. The bus arrival time in Okinawa is still very accurate, within a few minutes. I stayed in Okinawa for 10 days and I went there by bus. http://www.kotsu-okinawa.org/, this is the Okinawa bus route inquiry website, very easy to use. It must be used in conjunction with Google Maps, which can basically solve the problem of public transportation.

If you stay in Naha, you need to return to all attractions on the same day. Naha is in the south, and it takes more than 2 hours to go to the northernmost part, such as the Miramar Aquarium. The fare is about 2,000 yen, and you need to change trains once. You can sign up for a day trip, including tickets to the aquarium, which saves money and time. It is also a good choice if your travel time is short. There is a bus 120 called universal 120. From Naha Airport to the north through Chubu, the number of trains is relatively dense.

2. Choose Naha and Mimura in the middle to stay. Then this is how I arranged it. I signed up for a one-day trip to the north, got on the bus from Naha with my luggage, and Mimura left the group, which reduced the trouble of luggage storage and transportation in a mobile hotel, and also saved some transportation costs. But for people like me who like in-depth travel, a one-day trip is not very enjoyable, and some small scenic spots in the north can be skipped.

While staying in the middle, you can visit some nearby attractions. You can choose to stay in the American Village or go to Onna Village in central China. There are many comprehensive serviced apartments in Meicun, and the transportation is relatively convenient. There are many resorts in Onna Village, which are more suitable for self-driving or chartering.

3. For mobile accommodation, choose Naha, Central, and North.

You can fight from the north, from north to south, and finally from Naha in the south, or vice versa. If you have enough travel time, it is recommended to choose this option.

Nagashimase near Naha is so beautiful, it is the nearest outlying island to Naha. You must go and see it when you have time. If you have any other questions, please message me privately.

I have traveled all over Lily’s m@万水千山, a person who loves traveling. Note
