Detian Waterfall, the largest transnational waterfall in Asia, is it spectacular?

Detian Waterfall is located in Detian Village, Shuolong Town, daxin county, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, in the upper reaches of Guichunjiang River on the Sino-Vietnamese border. Detian Waterfall is located in the middle Devonian dolomitic limestone, which is a typical karst waterfall. Its upper reaches are the Guichun River flowing through Vietnamese territory. Detian Waterfall is about 50 meters away from boundary pillar 53 on the Sino-Vietnamese border. The clear Guichunjiang River is a tributary of the Zuojiang River and the boundary river between China and Vietnam.

Detian Waterfall is a masterpiece when it flows through Putang Island. The mighty Guichun River surges from the north, and Putang Island with three high cliffs stands tall, blocking the river. The river poured down from the cliff more than 50 meters high, hitting the solid stone, splashing, foggy, hanging like silk from a distance, splashing like jade from a close look, reflecting the sunshine, colorful, and the sound of running water, shaking the valley.

The waterfall falls in three stages, with a maximum width of more than 200 meters, a depth of more than 60 meters, a drop of more than 70 meters, and an average annual flow of 50 cubic meters per second. The geological location is thick layered dolomite. It is the largest natural waterfall in Southeast Asia and has been designated as a special scenic spot by the state.
