Talking about daubing painting

(The brush used is a flat brush)

Plane painting: (1) Draw horizontally from one side to the other. (2) When the drawing paper is placed horizontally on the table (that is, 0 degrees), if you draw from left to right, you will find that the color is from light to dark. Because when you pick up the pen, there will be more water left in the pen, and the water will slowly flow from many places to fewer places, thus forming a gradual effect of depth. (3) If you don't want to have this gradual effect, then the brush should not always draw from left to right, but from left to right and then from right to left, so as to achieve a uniform effect. (4) When the drawing paper is placed obliquely (such as 15 degree or 30 degree), it will be found that more water will be gathered at the bottom due to angular gravity. If you don't want too much water at the bottom, you can dip the brush with a dry paper towel and then suck too much water with the brush to achieve a uniform effect.

Smudge: (1) A slight collision between two or more colors will produce a natural gradient effect. (2) First draw a color from left to right, then wash the brush with clear water and apply it to the second color area to be drawn from left to right after the first color is finished. Here, water plays the role of a bridge, allowing different colors to penetrate each other and blend better. Then draw another color in the area just painted with water, but in the opposite direction, from right to left, to the end of the first color. Let the two colors touch and collide slightly, and after drying, a natural connection and transition will be formed.

Mixed color: (1) Mixed color can be said to be an advanced form of blooming, which is a brand-new color formed by the violent collision of different colors. (2) Painting and blooming are the same. The difference is that different colors are not slightly touched and collided, but more, and even can be artificially mixed to produce brand-new colors. (3) The amount, shade and moisture of different colors will affect the color produced.

Overlapping color: (1) Draw a primary color first, and then paint or cover it with different colors after the primary color is completely dried, thus forming a mixed color effect. In Chinese painting, this painting method is called covering color. (2) Overlapping colors are widely used in dry painting. (3) In landscape painting, if you want to create a feeling of air or sunshine, you can use the overlapping color method. For example, after the color of the sky is completely dry, dip a layer of light lemon yellow with a big brush and cover the sky with a layer of dye to create a feeling of sunshine.
