"Wish Journey", a person's Hengshan

In the past, let alone traveling alone, I had to have a companion to go to the toilet, and I had to shrink from walking across the Yangtze River Bridge. Now I can hike alone across Mount Hengshan in Yue, and time is secretly changing us.

I have always had a wish, that is, to travel alone. In fact, this is not the first time I have traveled alone. It was just that the person I made an appointment with last time had something to do and was unable to go. But this time it was completely different. I don’t know where I got the courage to pack my bags and set off alone. I don’t know where I got the courage to walk into a valley with no one there. I don’t know where I got the courage to live alone in an inn in the mountains, maybe in Xiaopeng’s. In a book, maybe in Badau's book.

Hengshan Mountain is a world-famous holy land for Buddhism and Taoism. There are more than 200 large and small temples, temples and nunneries around the mountain, which are dazzling to see, each with its own characteristics and flourishing incense. Hengshan's advertisement calls for a "wish trip", but this wish is not my wish. To burn incense and petition, you must go to Hengshan Mountain. The devout pilgrims go all the way from the foot of the mountain to Nantianmen and then to Zhurong Peak.

The people of Hengshan believe in Zhurong, the God of Fire, so they have Zhusheng Temple, which is located in Nanyue City. This trip was tight and I didn’t make it. I really didn’t have a serious plan to go to Hengshan this time. In fact, there are still many famous scenic spots that I haven’t visited, such as Tianzhu Peak, Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, Guangji Temple, Zhusheng Temple, etc.

There is also the Nanyue Temple in Nanyue City. The Nanyue Temple has the largest ancient building complex in the south of the Yangtze River, surrounded by red walls, towering turrets and shaded by green trees.

The Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas is full of Buddha statues. It is said that Ten Thousand Buddhas are really enshrined here. The Chinese Wanshou Ding is currently the largest and heaviest tripod in China. The God of Longevity is enshrined inside. Visitors can go there to pray. From the Wanshou Ding, you can see the whole city of Nanyue and have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery.

Nantai Temple is located at the foot of Ruiying Peak in Hengshan Mountain. The average summer temperature here is 28 degrees Celsius, and the winding paths lead to tranquility. The stupa is located on Ruiying Peak behind Nantai Temple.

In addition to the Zhusheng Temple at the foot of the mountain, the majestic Zhusheng Temple also stands at the top of Zhurong Peak, the highest peak in Nanyue.

The sea of ??clouds at Zhurong Peak and Sun Viewing Platform are much more spectacular than the sea of ??clouds at Mount Lushan and Pokou. I have to say that I didn’t choose the days when I went to Mount Lushan and Hengshan. They were both foggy days. It was okay, although Every time I didn’t get a panoramic view of Zongshan Mountain, but every time I saw the sea of ??clouds.

Main forests and bamboos can be seen everywhere on Nanyue. There are indeed many pine trees and bamboos on Hengshan. It is already October, but there are basically no traces of autumn on Hengshan, except in a valley. , I saw a small piece of metasequoia showing signs of autumn. Probably because it is green all year round, it has the reputation of being the most beautiful mountain in Nanyue.

Traveling alone will gain more experience. Walking alone in a deserted valley, you will feel a little afraid when you move forward, but you will not be willing to retreat when you retreat. Climbing Zhurong Peak alone gives me an unprecedented sense of accomplishment. There are no obstacles on the way, and there is no fear of delaying others. A person's journey will see more scenery, a person can appreciate the beauty of the scenery, and a person can watch the travel of strangers just like watching a movie. It feels very good and sad to experience the experience of a backpacker that I once envied so much. When I eat instant noodles alone, I think of Xiaopeng eating bread. When I travel through the valley alone, I think of Badao. People on foot. Although the short three-day journey was not as serious as An Teng said, it also gave me a profound experience of loneliness, struggle, breathing, and shouting.

Many people say that growing up means loneliness. In fact, people need to be alone most of their lives. A small journey is nothing. This is just the beginning.
