What if there is no sound when the computer microphone speaks?

The microphone has no sound/can't speak. Solution:

Step 1: Make sure the microphone jack is connected correctly. Generally, an earphone with a microphone has two sets of wiring plugs, one is a green plug (i.e. earphone audio signal) and the other is a red plug (i.e. microphone signal input). First, make sure that the red plug is connected to the corresponding red jack on the computer panel (there will usually be headphones and microphone icons);

Step 2: Confirm whether the sound card driver is normal, and click "->" menu->; Select "run"-> enter "devmgmt.msc" at runtime (without quotation marks), and click OK to open the device manager->; Check whether there are items with exclamation marks or question marks anywhere in the device manager, and then expand the+sign in front of "Sound, Video and Game Controller" to check whether there are items with exclamation marks or question marks below-> If there are, the sound card driver is abnormal or not installed-> Baidu search "Driver Wizard"-> After downloading and installing the driver wizard, click "Driver Upgrade"-> Upgrade the sound card in "Basic Status"

Step 3: right-click the volume icon in the lower right corner of the taskbar->; Select "Turn on Volume Control"-> Click "Options"-> Select "Properties"-> In the pop-up "Properties" dialog box, check all items under "Show the following volume control" and click "OK"-> Check whether there are any items muted in the volume control window, remove the checkmarks before muted, adjust the volume of all items to the maximum, and then try to chat with the other language;

Step 4: Adjust the QQ language settings to open the QQ panel-> Click the gear icon at the bottom (System Settings)-> Click "Chat with Friends"-> When selecting "Language Video" in the system settings window->; Click "Language Settings"-> "Uncheck"-> "Automatically adjust microphone volume" in the window on the right, and then increase the volume of the microphone icon to the maximum->; Then tick "Automatically increase microphone volume"-> before attempting voice call;

Step 5: If the above steps can't solve the problem that the microphone can't talk, please click the Start menu-> Select All Programs-> Point to Accessories->; Then-> "entertainment"->; Select "recorder"-> to open the "recorder" window, and click the round recording button-recording->; Speak into the microphone and see if the waveform has changed-> After the recording, click the play button and listen for sound. If there is no sound, the microphone is probably damaged.

What if the microphone doesn't ring, the microphone won't talk, and the microphone doesn't ring? If you can't solve the problem by following the above steps, you can try to borrow a friend's microphone and plug it into your computer to verify whether your microphone is broken, and then decide whether to buy a new one.
