I want to travel to Mount Tai. Who is familiar with Shandong?

I am a student from Shandong. I went out with my friends during the holidays. I just came back from Mount Tai on August 4th. I hope these experiences can help you and are for your reference.

I am not afraid of trouble. , do you a favor and make a friend.

1. The weather is pretty good recently, sometimes it rains, but mostly it is sunny, suitable for hiking or traveling.

2. The rainfall in the Northeast is not very heavy, I guess. It would be safer if you take the train to Mount Tai. There is no problem with the safety factor of the train.

About the train schedules here: (for reference only, if there is any change, please refer to the train station)

You can take the following trains from Anshan to Taishan directly.

3 .Get off the train at Taishan Station (note: not Tai'an Station) in Tai'an City, Shandong Province. In front of you is Jinan Station.

4. Bring a change of clothes, enough money, and equipment if you are interested in photography. The sunrise is meaningful if you want to take pictures, but it is best to take photos of stalls and spend some money. .Because ordinary filters are very ineffective! You can buy other things here. If you are not afraid of being tired when climbing, bring a backpack to store water and food when climbing.

5. Since it is the peak season, Taishan tickets are now 125. With your own student ID, it is half price 60 plus 1 yuan (I can’t remember whether it is 2 yuan) insurance. It is recommended to start climbing from Hongmen, because that is the most classic route on Mount Tai. The scenery along the way is okay. The ropeway is 45 per person, no half price. There should be two ropeways on Mount Tai, one going directly from Zhongtianmen to Nantianmen, and the other from Taohuayu side (you can't ride on this one from climbing the mountain). Whether you sit still or not depends on your physical strength. I didn’t go to many other small attractions, so the tickets were just the money, which wasn’t much. The key is that other things like staying at the top of the mountain, eating, taking photos, etc. cost a lot of money.

6. At the speed of ordinary people, it takes about 6 hours from Red Gate to Nantianmen. Don’t go in too detail. In fact, it depends on your own interests. You can see what you like and what you don’t want. Look, that's a waste of time and energy!

For other things, when you arrive in Tai'an, you can skip Mount Tai and experience the local customs, taste the famous snacks, and go shopping. You can stay for a while after getting off the train. Find a suitable hotel, then get to know the surrounding terrain, familiarize yourself with the weather, explore the route to Mount Tai, etc. Of course, I can tell you more if you want to know. Time is limited, so I won’t say too much here.

I can also recommend some good hotels and snacks to you for your reference!

After going to Mount Tai, you can go to the Yishui Underground Gallery and the Underground Grand Canyon in Shandong. There are rafting and caves in it. It is also quite good. It is a national AAAA-level scenic spot (Taishan is AAAAA). See if you are interested. Yes, it’s not very easy to go there, but it’s relatively close to Mount Tai, about a 3-hour drive. I also know the route, tell me if you want. Anyway, be sure to bring enough money!
