What are some interesting places to travel in Xi 'an?

Since ancient times, Xi has been one of the four ancient capitals in the world. It has a long history and splendid culture, with more than 5,000 years of civilization history, 3 100 years of city building history and10/00 years of capital building history. All these figures are not just Arabic characters, but days of our lives, which contains the history of China. What must I see when I travel to Xi?

First, Xi 'an City Wall

Xi 'an City Wall, also known as Xi 'an Ming City Wall, is the largest and most intact ancient city wall in China, and it is also the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. Xi 'an City Wall has four main doors: Changle Gate (East Gate), Yongning Gate (South Gate), Anding Gate (West Gate) and Anyuan Gate (North Gate), which are also the original doors of the ancient city wall. Since the Republic of China, in order to facilitate access to the ancient city, a number of new gates have been opened. Up to now, there are 18 gates in Xi 'an City Wall.

Second, Xi Anzhong Drum Tower

The bell tower in the night, the scarlet theme color is solemn and generous. The location of Xi 'an Bell Tower is particularly good. It is located in the center of Xi 'an, at the intersection of four streets, east, west, north and south, and within the Ming city wall. It is the largest and best-preserved bell tower in China. It was built in the seventeenth year of Hongwu, Ming Taizu (1384), and it was first built in the street corner of Guangji today. Opposite the Drum Tower, Ming Shenzong moved to its present position in the 10th year of Wanli (1582). There is an inscription on the west wall of the second floor of the bell tower called "Song of the Bell Tower Moving eastward", which describes the whole migration process of this huge building. This was also a big project at that time.

Xi 'an Drum Tower is located 200 meters northwest of the Bell Tower. It was built in the 13th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (AD 1380). Rebuilt in 1740 (five years after Qianlong), it is built on a square base, with brick and wood structure and double eaves at the top, with a total height of 36 meters and an area of 1377 square meters, with stairs circling up.

Third, Daming Palace Ruins Park.

Through the historical fog of 1 100 years, standing on the vast land of Daming Palace ruins, we can only use imagination to fill the bustling scenery of the past. In the past, Daming Palace lived in Longshouyuan, a forbidden park in the north of Xi 'an. Standing in the distance, Qianfeng in the south was clearly visible, like a palm, overlooking the streets and lanes of Beijing Square.

At that time, the Tang Dynasty spent 70% of its national strength to build the most magnificent Daming Palace in the world. Today, the city wall has survived the vicissitudes of 1000 years, and has been fortunately preserved. I don't know when I can restore the style of Daming Palace on this land. At that time, Daming Palace covered an area of 3.2 square kilometers, which was 4.5 times that of the Forbidden City in Beijing in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is called the Palace of Thousand Palaces and the Oriental Temple of the Silk Road.

There are many tourist attractions in Xi. Let me introduce three of them to you first, and then add them later. Welcome everyone to talk about the scenic spots that must be visited when traveling to Xi 'an.
