Where is Guokui Mountain?

There is a strange mountain 30 kilometers southwest of Xilinhot. The mountain is shaped like an iron pot, and four hills with similar shapes are evenly distributed around it. Local herders all call this mountain' Taogaowula', which means Pot Helmet Mountain. Whenever the rain clears, the green grass is covered with water drops, the sun shines through the residual clouds, and the grass is fragrant, and the rainbow appears on this mountain and casts a "mirage" feeling. It belongs to the national 3A-level landscape.

According to the legend of local herdsmen, there is a mountain spring at the foot of Guokui Mountain, and the spring water is very sweet. Genghis Khan has eight BMWs and drinks them every day. Wherever he went in the future, all these BMWs ran back to drink the spring water. Once Genghis Khan went to a distant place to fight, and these BMWs went to drink spring water again, delaying the fighter plane. Genghis Khan was furious and ordered the cauldron next to the spring water to be turned over and buckled, so as not to let the horse drink the spring water here again. Later, this BMW only ordered horses to drink the spring water here. Not far from the mountain, there is a pot bracket, which can be seen clearly from a distance now.

There is a grotesque mountain in Baolegen Sumu, Xilinhot, which looks like an inverted iron pot, and four hills of the same shape are evenly distributed around it. Local herdsmen call this mountain "Gao Tao Wula" (Chinese meaning Guo Helmet Mountain), and the four surrounding mountains are "Gaotao Ntaribi Guli Wula" (Chinese meaning Guo Jiazi Mountain). The name of this mountain comes from a legend. When the sage Genghis Khan led the army to camp here, he left a pot. Later, the pot became Tao Gaoula, and the pot rack became Tao Gaoen Talebi Guliula. Guo Guishan got his name from this.

There is a touching legend in Guokui Mountain. Genghis Khan, the great ancestor of the Yuan Dynasty, passed here in a battle. At this time, the sun has set in the western hills. Genghis Khan ordered his troops to camp on the spot, so the soldiers began to dig a stove on the grass and make a fire. The news that Khan passed by here spread all over the grassland like a gust of wind, and all the herdsmen nearby met at dawn to visit Khan. However, when they arrived at the camp in the morning fog, there was no one here, only this mountain shaped like a pot helmet and several surrounding hills. The herdsmen said that this must be made of the iron pot that Khan used.

The best travel time: Xilinhot in Inner Mongolia belongs to a typical temperate semi-arid continental climate, with short spring and autumn, no heat in summer, long winter and distinct four seasons.
