Tickets for the Summer Palace: 60 yuan in peak season and 50 yuan in low season. The joint ticket includes tickets for the Summer Palace and the Garden in the Garden. The gardens in the garden include Wenchang Garden, Dehe Garden, Foxiang Pavilion and Suzhou Street.

Beigongmen: Take Metro Line 4 and get off at Beigongmen Station, or take bus lines 330, 33 1, 332, 346, 584, 594, 375, 563, 508, 579 and 303 to the Summer Palace.

Newly-built Gongmen (South Ruyimen: Take bus No.374, 74, 437 and 952 and get off at the newly-built Gongmen Station of the Summer Palace (South Ruyimen Station of the Summer Palace).

West Gate of Summer Palace: Take bus No.469 and No.539 and get off at West Gate Station of Summer Palace.

North Ruyimen: There are no buses, subways and parking lots for the time being.

2. Self-driving parking lot

Parking in the Summer Palace is also a problem that everyone should consider when going to play. At present, there are parking spaces at all five entrances except North Ruyimen. There are about 100 parking spaces in Donggongmen parking lot, 470 parking spaces in newly-built Gongmen parking lot, 23 parking spaces in Beigongmen parking lot 123 parking spaces and 70 parking spaces in Ximen parking lot.

Play route

The Summer Palace has a large area. If you want to save your strength, the best way to play is to be admitted to the hospital at Nanruyimen, make house calls from south to north, and finally come out at Beigongmen. The attractions of the Summer Palace are divided into Palace District, Qianshan District, Houshan Houhu District and Kunming Lake District. Palace area is the administrative and residential area of the Qing emperor and empress dowager. Qianshan district is the most concentrated place in the Summer Palace, and Kunming Lake is quiet. 2. Donggongmen → Renshoutang → Leshoutang → Promenade → Shifang → Suyunyan Chengguan → Houshan Zhongyu Road passes through Lilac Garden, Songtang and Lianningtang → Funny Garden → Deheyuan East Street → Renshoutang → Donggongmen.

Tour route of Summer Palace 1

Beigongmen → Suzhou Street → Four continents → Xiang Yan Zongyin Pavilion → Wisdom Sea → Foxiang Pavilion → Runwheel Collection → Baoyun Pavilion → Paiyun Hall → Listening to Lanting → Traveling in the Picture World → Shifang → Paiyun Gate → Corridor → Leshou Hall → Yongshou Zhai → Yiyun Pavilion → Dehe Garden → Renshou Hall → Wenchang Pavilion. Take the subway under the North Palace Gate and enter from the North Gate of the Summer Palace.

It still takes about two and a half hours to take this route, and it will definitely take longer if you want to take pictures. The biggest highlight of this route is the scenic spots planned to visit here. Suzhou Street, Baoyun Pavilion and Promenade are recommended.

Suzhou street was built in Qianlong period, imitating the style of Jiangnan water town, but this is not the original building. The original building was burnt down by the British and French allied forces in 1860, and what you see now is 1986.

Most of the scenic spots in Baoyun Pavilion are related to Buddhism, such as Xiang Yan Zongyin Pavilion, Four Continents, Wisdom Sea, Buddha Pavilion and Lunji. However, Baoyunge looks like a darkroom, which may be ignored when playing.

Although the promenade looks simple, it is rich in colorful paintings, including landscapes, flowers and birds, and the plots of four classical novels. I have to sigh the wisdom of the ancients.

Summer Palace Tour Line 2

West Gate of Summer Palace → Nanruyimen → Boating Kunming Lake → Wharf. If you want to continue by boat, the next stop is Suzhou Jian, but it is recommended to walk there, because there are also some famous scenic spots near the pier.

Beigongmen → Suzhou Street → Four Continents → Foxiang Pavilion → Paiyunmen → Promenade → Dui 'ou Boat → Leshoutang → Yulantang → Deheyuan → Renshoutang → Donggongmen, go straight east and you will find Xiyuan subway station.

This is the quickest way to visit the Summer Palace, but it takes two hours to play in the Summer Palace. Don't take a taxi outside the East Palace Gate. Inconvenient. It is about 15 minutes' walk from the subway station.
