Prose about Bansui’s trip to the Tea Mountain

I am a native Bangun person and I have loved drinking Bansui tea since I was a child. In March of Yangchun, I drove to Bansui Tun, Guohua Village, Bangun Township, along with a group of Mingxiangge tea friends, to explore the birthplace of Ningming’s famous Bansui wild tea.

Our group started from Ningming County and headed east to Bangun. Along the way, several post-90s girls in the car were chatting and laughing, making the journey lively and interesting.

After driving for less than an hour, we arrived at the market town where Bangun Township Government is located. After a short rest, we got in the car and continued on our way. After traveling on the muddy mountain road for about half an hour, the leader of the group, Alan, cheered: "Ready to reach my home!" The people in the car were also very excited. Along the way, there are towering trees, gurgling water, and the singing of birds and the fragrance of flowers, which is refreshing and refreshing. The villages in the distance are scattered among the mountains, and we seem to have entered a paradise.

After a brief lunch at Alan’s house, Alan’s father, Uncle Chen, took us to Chashan. The mountain road is winding and undulating, with towering ancient trees and lush vegetation, and the mountains in the distance and near are shrouded in clouds and mist. Less than half an hour after setting off, we fell behind Uncle Chen, and several girls with weaker physiques also complained that they were tired.

“Have we arrived yet?” A beautiful woman traveling with us asked Uncle Chen from time to time.

“This is the Bansui wild tea tree.” Uncle Chen pointed at a tea tree and said to us. We cheered "Okay, finally here." Uncle Chen told us that we still have another hour to go. After hearing this, the original excitement returned to its original point. Continuing to move forward, we climbed over high mountains one after another, and saw tea trees scattered among the high mountains and ridges. Unknowingly, we walked to a high mountain with elegant scenery and came to a neat octagonal forest.

"We are here. Bansui wild tea is produced here, and everyone can go pick it." Uncle Chen said to everyone.

Uncle Chen introduced to us that each of the more than 70 households in Bansui Village picks and makes tea, and the history of picking Bansui wild tea goes back hundreds of years. Nowadays, only a few hundred kilograms of tea are sold outside each year. In the past few years, some people tried to plant tea trees in the mountains, but the tea produced lost its original taste. This high mountain is filled with clouds and mist all year round, with endless climate changes and abundant rainfall. Many tea trees grow in the cracks of the rocks. The surrounding octagonal forests block most of the sunlight. Therefore, the tea trees grow slowly. This is very conducive to the growth of tea and the accumulation of content. Moreover, the soil of this mountain is loose and fertile, with a superior ecological environment and no pollution. It can be said that the excellent environment has created high-quality Bansui wild tea. It is not easy to pick fresh tea leaves. Villagers travel across mountains and ridges in search of them. Generally, they can only pick one or two kilograms of fresh tea leaves a day. To make dry tea, it needs to go through three steps of greening, rolling and drying, followed by second and third frying. After drying, Bansui tea was made, and in the end, only two liang dry tea was made.

At this time, we can’t help but lament the hardships of tea farmers. Everyone enjoyed picking tea leaves while listening to Uncle Chen’s introduction. Time flies on the tea mountain, and in a blink of an eye it’s evening and it’s time to go down the mountain. This time, Alan took us along the path to the creek where she used to play as a child. Walking along the path beside the stream, the scenery along the way was so beautiful that I couldn't help but recite the poem in Wang Xizhi's "Orchid Pavilion Preface": "Here there are high mountains, lush forests and bamboos, and there are clear streams and rapids, which reflect the music to the left and right, making it sound like a song of flowing wine. Water is the next best thing. "The beauty of Bansui Tea Mountain is that it is natural, and there is no trace of artificial axe. It is really beautiful in the mountains and water!

At the end of the day, we all gained a lot and returned home with a full load. When we returned to Alan's house, despite the exhaustion along the way, we all asked Alan's mother to make us fried tea. After inspecting the tea and frying it to remove the green leaves, we could already smell the aroma of tea. Uncle Chen and Aunt Chen also brought out the original Bansui tea to entertain us. The tea soup brewed with Bansui mountain spring water has a slightly bitter taste in the mouth, but it turns bitter into sweet immediately. After a long time, the sweetness remains on the lips and teeth, and the aftertaste is endless. .

The magnificent Bansui Tea Mountain and the beautiful Bansui wild tea!
