Prison Gala is taken from the novel Red Rock, chapter 16. Red Rock reflects a special struggle between light and darkness on the eve of national liberation. The things described in the novel happened between the end of 1948 and the end of 1949. Across the country, the people of China won a brilliant victory in their liberation struggle, and ushered in the birth of a new China. But judging from Chongqing, where the story happened, the mountain city was occupied by Kuomintang reactionaries at that time. They set up secret prisons and frantically arrested, imprisoned and slaughtered party member and the revolutionary masses. Especially in the Sino-US Cooperation Office, including Zhazidong and Baigongguan, the dark forces are persecuting every revolutionary with a hundred times madness and cruelty. In other words, on the whole, the revolutionary forces are in an advantage; On the other hand, the revolutionary forces are still at a disadvantage. This forms a huge contrast in the novel. Every revolutionary is facing the test of life and death, and may be killed by the enemy at any time.
