Creation background

Heroic sons and daughters are war films produced by changchun film studio 1964. Directed by Wu, starring. The film is adapted from Ba Jin's novel Reunion.

Liu Chi, the songwriter of the film episode Ode to a Hero, didn't rush to compose music after getting the lyrics written by Gong Mu, but took a group of people to play poker. With a clash, Liu Chi suddenly threw the card on the table and went back. He locked the door, refused all interruptions, and then wrote the song Ode to a Hero.
