OCT Wetland is located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. The main types of wetlands are offshore and coastal wetlands, which are artificial lakes of coastal saline-alkali wetlands left by reclamation. OCT Wetland is a unique landscape brand in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone with wide water surface, lush reeds, lush mangroves, natural beaches and rare birds and animals. OCT wetland is an important habitat for wading birds in Shenzhen Bay. When the coastal beaches were flooded, a large number of wading birds flew to the OCT wetland to live, so more than 40 species of wading birds were recorded, including the black-faced spoonbill, a star bird species in Shenzhen Bay.
