Poria cocos is shaped like sweet potato, spherical, with light brown or dark brown skin and pink or white inside. Distributed in Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Anhui, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Shanxi and other places. Location: Anhui, Yunnan and Hubei.

The origin of poria cocos

Poria cocos mostly grows in the roots of Pinus plants, and is suitable for medium altitude of 700- 1000 meters, cool and dry climate, sandy soil and slope of10-35. The normal development temperature of Poria cocos fruiting body is 24-28℃. Sclerotinia has strong adaptability to temperature, can tolerate high temperature and cold at 40℃, and often does not burn or freeze.
