The impermanent original text in Buddhist scriptures

The Shurangama Sutra was published. If this is the analogy, is it not only the change of year, but also the change of month? Why is the month changing? It is also a change of the sky, a kind of meditation and observation. In an instant, you can't stop, hence the name impermanence.'

Impermanence: You can't stay the same forever. In our real world, nothing is constant, whether it is the material world or the perceptual world; Nothing is static, it doesn't evolve instantaneously. It can be said that everything is impermanent. We must calm down and study Buddhism in order to understand this truth. Otherwise, people often think that everything in the world is real and life is eternal.

It is mentioned in the Shurangama Sutra that once Sakyamuni Buddha asked the king of Persia:

Your Majesty, when you were young, your face was round and beautiful. Now you are old, wrinkled and pale. This is impermanence. '

The king of Persia was a man of good birth. After listening to the Buddha, he was able to draw inferences and say:

If this is the case, it is not only the change of the year, but also the change of the month. Why not the change of the month, but also the change of the day? Look at the truth quietly and never stop in an instant, hence the name impermanence. '

According to the idea of the Persian king, it is not only changing year by year, but also changing month by month. Not only that, but even every day, every hour and every moment is changing, and it never stops changing. The final conclusion is impermanence.

Therefore, when it comes to earth, it is a bad space; When it comes to life, it means birth, old age, illness and death; It's a matter of life and death. For example, in our house, engineers first draw and design, and then purchase building materials. The workers built it and we lived in it. If it is not destroyed by earthquake, fire, etc. It may last for at least decades or even hundreds of years. This is life. But don't think that the house will never change, even if we can't see it with the naked eye, in fact, it has been changing and eroding, which is different. Finally collapsed and finally disappeared. If the house is like this, other things will inevitably die. This is the law of nature.

In a word, both the emotional world inside and the external world are impermanent.
