Fuqing County-Conghua Ouyang Jin
Fuqing and Conghua are thousands of miles apart, let alone mountains and rivers, let alone distant relatives. How can it have anything to do with Conghua? This strange fate has to start with Fuqing magistrate-Ouyang Jin from Conghua.
Ouyang Jin, whose real name is Mao Jie (there is also a saying: Meizhou,No. Mao Jie), was born in Conghua in the Ming Dynasty, following the eighth ancestor Yue of Fengyuan Village (Ouyang Shuguang, whose real name is Zhong Hui,No.), and his date of birth and death is unknown. Accurately speaking, he is the great-grandson of Yuezhangzi Zutong (Ishida) and belongs to the 13th generation of Fengyuan Ancient Village. In the 14th year of Wanli (AD 1586), he was born as a scholar. According to the records of the rural examination in Ming Dynasty, his achievement was the third place in 1 18 (70 in that year, the third place was 28 1).
Today, there are still famous memorial archways and inscriptions of Ouyang Gongjin in Zhu Yue Temple in Fengyuan. The inscription records him: "He served as the county magistrate of Putian County, Fujian Province, and later as a judge of Dali Temple. He accompanied the queen to the Nanhai Temple to worship God and was appointed as an imperial envoy. " Conghua County Records records that he was a juren of Wanli Mao Yi (1579), a scholar of Wanli Xu Bing, and an official of Dali Temple. In fact, there are errors or omissions in these two records. There are clear records in Fuzhou Prefecture Records and Fuqing County Records, and it is mentioned that Ouyang Jin, a conghua person, served as Fuqing County Order. There are also documents that record him as: "There are eight people who have passed the township entrance examination in Jimao, which lasted for fourteen years in Wanli (1586), and there were 1 14 people in Xu Bing, and they were the first18 Jinshi among the top three. Awarded Fuqing County Order. " In short, there is no record of his employment in Putian in all previous dynasties. Maybe later generations mistook Fuqing County for Putian County. Because Fuqing is adjacent to Putian and the two counties are connected by mountains and rivers, the distance is very close.
Ouyang Jin, a native of Conghua, used to be the magistrate of Fuqing County, and must be attached to Tianbaopi, the largest water conservancy irrigation project in the area. Ye Gao Xiang (1559 ~ 1627), a minister of the Ming Dynasty, was born in Houye Village, Fuqing Port, Fujian Province. He is the highest-ranking official in Fuqing history. He joined the Central Committee twice, and served as the first assistant for seven years. He not only participated in the restoration of Tianbaopi, but also wrote a famous article "Rebuilding Tianbaopi" in Fuqing County Records. It is clearly mentioned in the article that during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Zhou Daxun and Zhou Wenlin were ordered by Ouyang Jin and Wang Mingqing, the magistrate of a county, respectively, to rebuild Tianbao Skin (Wang Mingqing, the ugly scholar of Wanli Kwai, was a scholar of 16 13, now from Jiuhu Village, Huadong Town, Huadu District, Guangzhou). Among them, the details about Ouyang Jin are as follows: "My city is coastal, with poor soil and the benefits of clear spring irrigation. It rains from time to time and the seedlings stand upright." However, the southwest is vicious and famous for its Tianbao. The water comes from Xianyou, which is clear and blessed, reaching Xinfeng and Renshou, and the fertile land is thousands of hectares. During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, Lang Gong restored it simply, so it was also called Fu Yuan Pi. Since then, it has been built repeatedly. Wanli was ugly, and then Zhou Daxun, a citizen, was ordered by the city to be Ouyang Hou, starting from the Chen Shizhen levee more than 200 feet in the west, on which farmers made a living. It's been thirty years now. "
So, when he said "Ling Ouyang Hou", did he mean Ouyang Jin from Conghua? We can verify it from the following aspects.
First of all, the article "Rebuilding Tianbao Pi Ji" said "Wanli Ugliness", namely 1589. At that time, the name of Fuqing magistrate was Ouyang. This coincides with Ouyang Jin's 1586 high school Jinshi. According to Records of the Ming Dynasty III, there are six officials in Beijing, namely, Chinese books, pedestrians, judges and doctors, and foreign officials know the state, push officials and magistrate. Foreign officials push officials, magistrate of a county, and academic officials, and they are born by choosing people. " Visible, the origin of magistrate of a county mainly includes Jinshi and Gong Ju. "In Wanli, there is another rule, that is, all counties and counties are seal officials, and there is a lack of Jinshi in the upper, middle and lower levels, a lack of juren in the middle and lower levels, and a lack of tribute in the lower levels." "So," Ling Ouyang Hou "probably refers to Ouyang Jin.
Secondly, the left side of Yan Rui Temple in Yan Rui Mountain Scenic Area in Fuqing County is about 65,438+020 cm wide and 65,438+036 cm high, and there are nine vertical stone carving running scripts in Ming Dynasty, each word is about 65,438+02 cm wide and 65,438+02 cm high (see "Fuqing stele" edited and published by Lin Qiuming, the running script is considered as seven. At the end of the year, clothes are empty, and it is frosty and snowy. Pingyi is full of eyes, and Tian Geng's husband is drunk. " Signed as "Rhyme of Ouyang Jin and Ye Taishi in Lingnan". Ye a surname mentioned signature, namely Ye Gao Xiang. And "Lingnan Ouyang Jin" is naturally Conghua Ouyang Jin.
Thirdly, we can also find some clues from the poetry literature of the Ming Dynasty. Liu Kezhi, a writer in the Ming Dynasty, wrote a seven-character poem-"Conservative Tomorrow from Fuqing Company". The title directly refers to the words "uncle day", "Ming government" and "government youth department". For hundreds of years, almost no one has cracked who uncle's "uncle day" is. In fact, it refers to Liu Kezhi's uncle Ouyang Jin. This point has also been confirmed in the Liu family tree of Conghua Yuancun (Yuancun, formerly known as Yuancun, under the administrative village of Jiekou Street in Conghua District). Genealogical records: Liu Kezhi, a native of Wan Li, Ming Shenzong, was the son of Liu Ge in Yuancun. It is also recorded that "Liu Ge married Ouyang Jin's sister in Phoenix Hospital and named her Anren. She gave birth to five sons: Ke Zheng, Ke Xiu, Ke Qi, Ke Zhi and Ke Ping. "
In fact, for hundreds of years, almost no one has cracked who the uncle's "Mao Jie" is in this poem, which is understandable. Because some documents of past dynasties misled a large number of literature and history researchers. Many documents, even the local documents in Fuqing, only write Ouyang Jin's word Meizhou or Meizhou. Even Mr. Lin Qiuming, who edited and published Fuqing Ming, did not research Ouyang Jin's words and wrote him as "Meizhou". In fact, we can solve the problem by studying Ouyang Jin's brother Ou Yangxun. Historical Records: Ou Yangxun, word Mao Zhong. He made up all the students in the city and was elegantly elected to Imperial College London. In the fourth year of Ming Dynasty (1569), Qin Long paid tribute, kept a smooth master book, and experienced in Nanchang House (in charge of documents). "Conghua County Records" also recorded such a story: Guo Yuxi, the county magistrate of Conghua during the reign of Kangxi, once spoke highly of Ou Yangxun, a rural sage in Conghua, as an honest official, which was a model.
Finally, we can get inspiration from a legendary story about "Crossing the Bridge Mountain" in Xincuo Town, Fuqing City. This folklore is very legendary, and it has been recorded in all dynasties, so it is widely circulated. It was mentioned that Cai, a Fuqing official, had a classmate named Ouyang Jin, who was a Fuqing county magistrate at that time, and a son named Ouyang Ren, who was both literary and talented, so Cai and Ouyang Jin decided to marry. Cai Jia gave birth to two sons to Ouyang Jia, and Ouyang Jia adopted one of them to continue Cai's incense.
At this point, the facts are clear and the evidence is sufficient. Ouyang Jin, a native of Conghua, Guangdong Province, presided over the restoration of Tianbaopi water conservancy project in Fuqing during his tenure as the magistrate of Fuqing, and had a close personal relationship with Ye, a Beijing official from Fuqing. At the same time, I visited famous local scenic spots and wrote a seven-character poem. More interestingly, my nephew Liu Kezhi went to his office in Fuqing to pay New Year's greetings on New Year's Eve!
To sum up, Ouyang Jin, a local citizen, was working as a local official in Fuqing County in the northeast of Fujian Province on the occasion of the centenary of the founding of Conghua County in A.D. 1589. He made great efforts to govern the country, worked diligently and loved the people, built water conservancy projects, served the people, and wrote poems and inscriptions for local excellent rivers, mountains and farmers, which fully demonstrated the elegance and charm of Conghua officials. Throughout the Ming Dynasty, it was a group of rural sages like Ouyang Jin who made Xiao Conghua, who was far away from the capital and leaning towards Lingnan, famous all over the world.
Of course, Ouyang Jin may not have thought that the Tianbaopi Water Conservancy Project in Fuqing, which he presided over in 1589, could be selected as the world irrigation project heritage in the name of "Nobel Prize for Irrigation Engineering" hundreds of years later. This is a strange fate between him and Fuqing, and it is also a strange fate between Conghua and Fuqing, which finally evolved into a strange fate between Conghua and China and the whole world.
Fuqing County-Ouyang Jin from Conghua deserves our memory.
