Does it take long to clean?

The treatment time not only refers to the specific situation of patients, but also follows the international standards for drug rehabilitation. According to the recommendation of the World Health Organization, in order to ensure the effect of drug rehabilitation, the time for drug rehabilitation should be at least 30-90 days.

(1) detoxification stage

This is the beginning of detoxification. It mainly adopts the methods of freezing turkey, gradient detoxification, alternating decreasing detoxification and traditional Chinese medicine detoxification to help drug addicts get through the acute withdrawal reaction period smoothly, help solve the physical withdrawal symptoms, and make drug addicts get rid of drugs without physical pain. This stage usually takes 1-3 weeks or more. This stage is the first step of drug treatment, and then it will be transferred to the last two stages. If only detoxification treatment is carried out, the curative effect is not good, and its recent recurrence rate can be as high as over 90%.

(2) Rehabilitation stage

The completion of detoxification is by no means the end of detoxification treatment. In the routine drug treatment, drugs only eliminate the physical withdrawal symptoms, but the psychological, neurological and physical conditions of drug addicts have not recovered, and their behaviors have not been corrected, which are the factors leading to relapse. Therefore, the treatment of protracted withdrawal symptoms and psychological and behavioral problems after detoxification needs a process, which is the rehabilitation stage. At this stage, measures such as psychological consultation, positive education, social help, physical exercise and nutrition improvement are mainly taken to solve or eliminate protracted symptoms and addiction, correct individual bad psychology, behavior and attitude, and complete psychological rehabilitation, so that drug addicts can return to society, become socially acceptable people and become prosocial people. This stage usually takes 6- 12 months or more.

(3) Follow-up nursing stage

It refers to the establishment of a supervision, support, assistance and education system, providing follow-up care for drug addicts after returning to society, providing psychological, professional or vocational counseling and other support and help for drug addicts, so that they can adapt to and integrate into normal social life as normal people. This stage needs more than 1-3 months.
