Eurasian wild boar has strong adaptability to the environment. Habitat spans temperate and tropical regions, from semi-arid climate to tropical rain forest, temperate woodland, semi-desert and grassland, but it does not appear in extremely dry, extremely high altitude and extremely cold areas. Except Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Gobi Desert, it is widely distributed in China.

Eurasian wild boar infests mountains, hills, deserts, forests, grasslands, forests and reed jungles, and often ventures into farmland. In Europe, it prefers broad-leaved forests, especially evergreen oak forests, but it can also be found in more open habitats, such as grasslands, Mediterranean shrubs and farmland, as long as there are water and trees nearby. Eurasian wild boar lives at an altitude of 2000 meters, and the Pyrenees in Europe is 2400 meters above sea level. In Asia, you can see them at higher altitudes.
