Wushu, Taekwondo and Karate, which is more practical?

Zhang Anbang talks about martial arts and boxing-

To tell the truth, five-year-old children are not the best age to practice skilled sports. Generally, one to three years old is the golden age for sensory training, four to six years old is children's physical fitness, and over seven years old is suitable for practicing special sports skills. From the parents' questions, I can see that the starting point of your doubt is your purpose. The child is five years old and practices martial arts, taekwondo and karate. Which is more practical? The so-called practicality is the purpose. If your purpose is to give your child a skill, both can be done; If your goal is to make children talented, you can do it. Martial arts routines, Taekwondo and Karate are all performances, no problem. I think your practicality is initially considered in actual combat. When children reach the age of five, they are in the middle class. There are more things to push and shove between them, more time to leave their parents' sight, and more chances to meet naughty children. Then let's talk about self-defense in actual combat.

If the children are older, or adults, I will definitely recommend boxing, Sanda, mixed martial arts and so on, but I will not recommend taekwondo and karate with more rules and regulations, nor will I recommend martial arts routines for self-defense. It must be practical training from boxing to meat. These are two different things. The reaction of each age group is different, and the content of the final exercise is different. This basic understanding can be understood, and I don't need to write a book for your analysis

The above pictures were taken in my studio, please don't borrow them, thank you!

Choose boxing, Sanda, Muay Thai, wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Karate and Taekwondo in turn.

At present, the fighting skills on the market are nothing more than these events, which belong to competitive sports under the development of modern sports. The so-called competitive sports is a large number of events to ensure the maturity of technology. Although it can't contain all practical significance, at least there are events that can be practiced to ensure skilled operation skills.

Taekwondo is mainly based on leg technique. Straight punches can only hit below the clavicle and above the hip bone, and cannot be struck continuously. There are few movements, especially after close combat, people can't hold and fall, and self-defense is too weak and single. You know, the most common way for human beings to strike is to scratch their faces and tear their hair, and the most sensitive hand is gone. It wasn't self-defense, it was assault.

Karate pays attention to stopping at an inch, and you can't really fight, that is, you will stop when the blow is about to reach an inch of the opponent's body. This safe exercise method has poor training for pain and poor combination of continuous attacks. You should know that human attack and defense is a series of attacks, such as machine guns, which are the most deadly. It's a bad habit to stop karate as soon as you hit it.

Wushu is a general term, that is, practical Sanda, routine drills and traditional Wushu. Sanda is practical, with boxing, legs and wrestling as the leading techniques, and self-defense is certainly suitable.

Five years old is still a little young. I suggest you learn competitive martial arts first, combine boxing with Sanda, communicate with the coach and teach together. Competitive Wushu will be used in school education in the future, such as school martial arts exercises, high school physical and mental boxing, Tai Ji Chuan and so on. This kind of boxing is a part of competitive martial arts or a related system, that is, combining physical exercise with the system.

Although this routine is not actual martial arts, the movements are arranged around the principles of attack and defense and strength, which is conducive to the subsequent self-defense training.

Five years old is not suitable for complete attack and defense training. As long as it is a real confrontation, an occasional runny nose is a normal event. Haha, who can afford it? Therefore, it is a more reasonable method to do more physical exercise and less confrontation, such as gymnastics, racket ball, swimming and martial arts routines.

Practice boxing first!

Let me talk about their relationship first. Taekwondo comes from karate, and karate comes from martial arts, which means they are related by blood.

Taekwondo is an Olympic sport, and the state strongly supports the existence of professional teams in various places. Many schools also have Taekwondo majors.

Karate was an event of the Tokyo Olympic Games last year, but the next Olympic Games was cancelled. It is currently an Asian Games event.

Wushu is a key promotion project in our country, and you can go to college after practice.

If fighting is practical, Wushu Sanda must be the first, karate the second and taekwondo the third. I said Sanda, not competitive martial arts.

I recommend Sanda for five-year-old boys and karate for girls.

taekwondo

Each has its own characteristics, but I am still optimistic about China's traditional martial arts. Why? Because the fighting skills of traditional martial arts are the most comprehensive, the south fist and the north leg, the knife and gun stick, and the boxing method are both offensive and defensive, changeable and straight to the point. They often take over one or two moves to knock down their opponents.

Wushu, Taekwondo and Karate, which is more practical? First of all, there is something wrong with this question. Wushu should refer to all fighting techniques. Taekwondo and karate will be included, but in the past, the so-called martial arts only included all kinds of martial arts in China. In Wushu, all kinds of boxing methods have some useful practical skills. But I still have to mention Muay Thai. This is a martial art that combines more practical techniques and is the closest technology to street fighting. But not street fighting, because there are rules.

Practicing at home can be practical, but practicing at home can only be used for performance! As for which one to choose, it depends on how long your child is going to practice. If you only practice for about one year, try not to choose martial arts, because even three years of martial arts training will not have too obvious effect. Wushu pays too much attention to basic skills, and it takes three years to kick alone. "Front kick, side kick, leg swing and leg adduction" are the main training contents. At the same time, we should start practicing routines from the five-step boxing and practice routines including Changquan. I only started practicing Sanda when I was a teenager. Since then, the content of practicing Sanda has been more practical, but few people can persist for so long. During the period, I may be tired of boring kicking training and stop practicing halfway. However, the current Wushu training class has changed in training methods, that is, basic skills and practical content are practiced together.

Taekwondo pays more attention to practicality than Wushu, but the content of short-term study is also the basic skill for performance. For example, those high kicks and wooden boards are also of a performance nature. This period of time is mainly to cultivate children's interest in taekwondo. If it is practical from the beginning, it will definitely be very hard to train, and it is difficult for children to be interested in taekwondo. I have to say that among the three, Taekwondo is the most attractive to children, because it can arouse children's interest and can be practiced all the time, so it has the widest popularity. After practicing for a long time, you will naturally be practical. However, the limitations of Taekwondo are relatively large. It only pays attention to the technical training of legs, and the strength training is insufficient. The defects of boxing and wrestling are more obvious.

Relatively speaking, karate is the most practical. Wushu and Taekwondo rarely have fancy moves such as boxing, legs and wrestling, and attach great importance to attack power. In addition, there are many palm training in karate, and chopping bricks and stones are all methods used by karate to test attack power, some of which are similar to hard qigong in martial arts. Therefore, if children pay attention to practicality, it is best to choose karate, followed by taekwondo and finally martial arts!

In fact, this question was originally a question of choice for many people.

I am a taekwondo coach myself, and my own experience tells you.

In fact, martial arts is more practical, which is a problem that most beginners understand. No matter what kind of fighting, in fact, many technologies are interoperable.

Speaking of Taekwondo, most people see WTF Taekwondo, which is a competitive school with more legs and fewer hands. This Taekwondo school has quality and stunts.

The main goal is to coordinate physical training and challenge the limits of physical fitness, no matter why you practice these, can you use them against it.

As a Taekwondo coach, I can say with certainty that the quality and stunts can't be used in actual combat, but in the competition, its leg skills are still offensive, and the leg skills are also interoperable in martial arts. Before 2004, it was basically traditional play. There are many things about Ko in WTF Taekwondo.

Generally speaking, it can be considered that the leg technique in Wushu basically includes the leg technique of most fighting schools.

Later, WTF Taekwondo was relatively unsuitable for ordinary fighting because it changed its playing style to cater to the Olympic Games. However, within the scope of effective attack, it still has certain lethality. For example, back kick, back spin kick and side kick (kick)

Some people question why Taekwondo can't be played now. Most of what you can see belongs to the popular Taekwondo in the market (more is to practice quality and stunts, and a few is to practice competition). The collar of clothes is black, red and black.

If you can go to the provincial professional team, you can still compete with boxing and Sanda. If someone insists on fighting, I can only say that your understanding of martial arts is still limited to your own practice field.

There is another school of Taekwondo, ITF Taekwondo (characterized by continuous use of hands and feet for martial arts) and traditional Korean Taekwondo, which is good at fighting and confrontation (some military and police departments practice ITF Taekwondo). Some people easily confuse it with karate. That's what you can really do. Clothing collar is white, novice clothes are pure white, and black belt hem shows black.

Basically, UfC has ITF Taekwondo athletes. If it is practical, ITF Taekwondo is more practical than WTF Taekwondo.

However, it does not rule out that WTF taekwondo athletes who practice well also have actual combat functions. The early WTF Taekwondo practitioners were all from ITF Taekwondo and all had the ability of ko opponents.

After talking about martial arts and karate in Taekwondo, in fact, anyone who knows a little about history knows that there are Tang players who learn martial arts in karate and those who learn karate in Taekwondo. I don't have much contact with karate, but the training effect of karate players is better than that of most taekwondo players in self-defense (for the public) Especially the most authentic genre. Clothing and karate are mostly pure white clothes.

If someone insists on fighting, it is suggested to know the history of various martial arts fighting schools before fighting.

Most movements in Wushu are useful, whether it is competitive Wushu or traditional Wushu. The meaning of existence has self-defense function, but now it is a society ruled by law. Who's ready to be a hero? The medical expenses are not enough.

Wushu has vitality and weapons. Do you think it is possible to defend yourself? Take a broom as a stick from home. Do you think it is possible to defend yourself? At least you won't let others get close to you easily.

You can understand that the martial arts in the world come down in one continuous line. Some are suitable for folk exercise, and some are suitable for military and police fighting. If you don't understand this, go back to the top. Learn history first, then martial arts.

For ordinary people, any genre is very practical. I can only say which one you like to practice first, and then you will actually practice it in the end. In fact, the final fighting skill will still find the charm of martial arts more attractive. Many famous boxers have been exposed to martial arts training to some extent.

Wushu has not only physical confrontation, but also weapon confrontation. What if you can only use your fists and feet to face people with weapons?

Of course, in the face of fist and fist kung fu, the real confrontation still depends on the individual and whether your brother has taught you attentively.

If you only attend a few training courses, you will be arrogant and fearless. It can only be said that you may have achieved something in that field, but when you meet different genres, you will not eat it.

Just like why taekwondo can't beat Sanda. These are really public jokes.

The master leads the door, and the practice depends on the individual. The world is still very big, and if you don't meet anyone stronger, you can only be the king in your small circle for a while.

Sanda evolved from the essence of Wushu.

People who really want to learn fighting. Will understand the history of various fighting schools, understand the spiritual origin of various schools.

If you just want to learn a little fur, you need to reach the prestige in the movie (a dozen). I still suggest not learning fighting first, but learning history first. History has the answer you are looking for.

Well, compared with the public, WTF Taekwondo is easier to learn and perform, and it can win glory for our country as well as participating in the Olympic Games. ITF Taekwondo pays more attention to fighting, and surrealism in karate is more lethal.

Martial arts is hard, testing the coordination of fists and feet and learning weapons. Now most martial arts venues also include Sanda. So the content of martial arts is rich.

Children can learn martial arts directly (rich in content), or they can learn taekwondo first, which is relatively simple, and karate can also be used.

Choice is in the individual, practice is in the individual. May the boxers in the world have a long military luck.

I heard that Sanda is better.
