Outsiders want to travel to Beijing. Who can help me plan my next travel route? Thanks
When I travel to Beijing, I apply for two municipal all-in-one bus cards, deposit 50 yuan in advance, and get 40% off by swiping the card on the bus. It’s very cheap. You can also swipe the card on the subway for 2 yuan. When you leave Beijing, return the bus card, and the remaining money and the 20 yuan cost of the card will be refunded to you.
Day 1: Arrive in Beijing and check into a hotel. It is recommended to stay in the Qianmen area, mainly because it has convenient transportation and is located in the center of the city. Depending on how long you have, you can visit Tiananmen Square, the National Museum, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Zhengyangmen, Qianmen Street, Dashilan Pedestrian Street, and then eat Peking duck on Qianmen Street.
The next day: Get up early to watch the national flag raising. Then enter Tiananmen Square, visit the Tiananmen Gate Tower, the Forbidden City, and exit from the North Gate into Jingshan Park. If it's early, take a bus to the Olympic Park and visit the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. Stroll around Xidan in the evening.
Day 3: Get up early and go to Badaling and the Ming Tombs (mainly the Dingling Underground Palace). Climbing the Great Wall on this day is quite tiring, so I recommend two scenic spots and a good rest at night. If you have time, you can visit the National Center for the Performing Arts.
Day 4: Take the subway to Old Summer Palace and Summer Palace, and then visit Peking University and Tsinghua University. The day is almost over. If it's early in the evening, go shopping on Wangfujing Street and have some snacks.
Day 5: Mainly go to the Temple of Heaven Park. If you are early, you can go to the Grand View Garden (the place where Dream of Red Mansions was filmed). In the evening, we went to Guijie Food Street, the most famous one in Beijing.
Day 6: Beijing Hutong Tour: Nanluogu Alley, Yandai Xiejie, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and then go to Yonghegong, Prince Gong’s Mansion, and Imperial College. In the evening, go shopping in Beihai Park and Shichahai, a bar street (there are many former residences of famous people nearby, you can visit them)
Day 7: You can visit the 798 Art District and Sanlitun Bar Street. Finally, visit the Military Museum (the largest ordnance exhibition hall in Asia).
As for Xiangshan, it is not recommended to go there on a hot day. There are too many other Badachu parks, so just go to one or two.
Day 8: See if there are any places that you didn’t go to because of lack of time in the past few days. Then you can go to the Pacific Underwater World or Happy Valley under the CCTV Tower and TV station.
There are so many interesting places in Beijing. If you visit these attractions, you will probably be exhausted every day. Go home and have a good rest. You can come back to other places you haven’t visited in the future.
You can enter the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, but you have to queue and it takes a long time.
Generally, an eight-day seven-night tour lasts longer and costs more, and there are almost no tour groups coming to Beijing. You can check to see if your local travel agency has one, and then see if the quote is what you like.
