Can you tell me some short stories about Confucius?

One day when Confucius was six years old, he was playing the game of "etiquette" with A Niu next door. This was taught to him by his mother Zheng Zai. Confucius plays the role of the Prime Minister, and A Niu plays the role of the King. Various pottery beans, plates and other things were placed on the street - these were specially made by my mother, Wu Fuzi, a potter from Linxiang. For this, my mother knitted half a piece of cloth for him to express her gratitude.

The sun shone on Confucius' face, which was chubby and a bit like an apple, but looked very serious. He bowed to A Niu solemnly. Suddenly A Niu jumped up from the king's position, pointed at Confucius' back and laughed. Just as he was about to speak, Confucius raised his head, glared at him sternly, and said, "How can the king do this during the sacrifice?" How can you behave without observing etiquette and leave your seat casually?" A Niu ignored him and said, "What a strange person." Confucius was about to say something else. Feeling a hand on his shoulder, he couldn't help but turn around.

The moment he turned around, Confucius saw a face that he would never forget in this life. This face looked like this: the hair was not tied together, and the hair on his forehead was not tied together. He is full of wrinkles but the lower half of his face is smooth, except for a scar of about five centimeters on his left cheek. He has no beard but very long eyebrows. He has a round face like a basin and a big mouth. This is his face, and look at his body: the clothes are very tattered, and the left sleeve is simply missing. A shriveled bag was slung across his shoulder. His head, face, and clothes were covered with dirt, as if he had just rolled out of a pile of dirt and crawled out. Confucius was stunned for a moment, but he calmed down immediately. He stroked the man's head and said, "Uncle, you must have walked a long way, right? Otherwise, why would your hair be so messy? You must have come from a barbarian area. Otherwise, why would you be so poor?" The man smiled slightly, his two broken front teeth sadly exposed, and said, "Kid, what's your name?" Confucius didn't answer, but asked: "Uncle, you haven't answered my question yet. This is not etiquette." The man was stunned immediately, then smiled and replied: "Uncle, it is true that he has traveled a long way, but he is not from a barbarian area. Uncle is so poor just because he doesn't know how to manage money. Well, uncle has answered your question. Please tell me your name." Confucius said: "My name is Confucius. "The man turned to A Niu and said, "What about you?" A Niu took a step back and said, "My name is A Niu." The man said, "What were you playing just now?" Kongqiu smiled and said, "My mother taught me this. It's fun." A Niu muttered at the side: "It's not fun. If he wasn't taller than me and couldn't beat him, I wouldn't play this game." It's not as fun as hide-and-seek." The man heard and said, "Okay, you can go home, we won't play anymore today." A Niu cheered and ran away. Confucius said loudly: "No, the sacrifice is not over yet, how can we leave?" However, the man grabbed his shoulder and could not move.

When A Niu walked away, the man relaxed his hand. Confucius suddenly broke away and said loudly: "Why don't you let me chase him? The sacrifice hasn't been finished yet." The man didn't answer him and asked: "Confucius, do you like this game? Tell your uncle Can you tell me the reason? Nowadays, almost no children are willing to play this kind of game. You see, A Niu doesn't like it." Confucius said with a straight face, "This is what my mother taught me, and my mother said 'property' is. It was formulated by the two great sages, King Wen and Duke Zhou, and you should study it carefully. She also made up a game called "Etiquette" for me to play. It was obviously very fun, but they just didn't like it." After saying this, Confucius pouted. .

The man sneered and said loudly: "The King of Wen and Duke Zhou, and the Rites of Zhou are all lies. Children who don't understand anything are just pretending to be here. It's really abominable!" After that, His face became ferocious and he glared at Confucius. Even though it was broad daylight, Confucius was so frightened that he said "Oh my God" and turned around and ran away. As soon as I ran to the corner of the street, I was hugged by someone. I looked up and saw that it was my mother Zheng.

Confucius finally calmed down.

I only heard my mother say: "What's your name, sir? Why are you acting like this on the street to scare children?" At this time, I looked at the man, who had returned to his normal state. Hearing Zheng Zai's question, he seemed to feel a little embarrassed. He lowered his head, saluted Zheng Zai, and said: "I'm sorry, madam. I just went crazy and lost my nature. I actually have my own difficulties. Madam, please forgive me; this should be your son, right? I think he is a child. , but he had a graceful demeanor when playing, so he said a few more words. "Excuse me, madam, did you teach him the game?"

Zheng Zai smiled slightly and said, "That's right." I taught you." The man looked calm and saluted Zheng Zai again and said, "Madam is really a wise and sage person; but there is one thing I have to say. Madam is so wise, she should know that all the countries in the world are now. In efforts to develop the economy and enhance national strength, all we need are practical talents. The Zhou rites can no longer meet the needs of the times. There is intrigue among the princes. Only debaters, counselors and other people are popular. There is no future for children to learn the Zhou rites. "Yes." Zheng Zai's face darkened and he said, "Sir, you are wrong. Although I am a woman, the most important thing in life is to have a clear conscience. Although Zhou Li is temporarily weak. , but it represents the conscience of today's world, and the popular profit-seeking theory respectively controls the two ends of social life. Originally, Zhou Li was in danger of being submerged. How could I watch this society be swallowed up by the smog? ? Listening to Mr.’s extraordinary talk, he must be an intellectual. Haven’t you heard the saying, ‘Intellectuals are the conscience of society’?” After saying that, Zheng Zai took Confucius and walked home.

After walking for about ten steps, I heard a shout from behind: "Madam, stay!" Zheng Zai turned around and the man said: "My surname is Li Ming'er, also known as Lao Dan. I just made an offensive statement. Please forgive me, madam. Although the boy is not talented, he knows a little about Zhou rites and is willing to provide guidance to the son. Although the madam is a great sage, I am afraid she does not know as much about Zhou rites as the boy."

Said. To be honest, Zheng Zai only knew a little bit about Zhou Li, and it was just a good wish for Confucius to learn it. He had always been worried about finding a good teacher for his children. When he heard this, he was really happy and quickly returned the gift. He tried his best to suppress it but couldn't help but smile. Said: "Then there is Mr. Lao Li."

* * *

A week later, Confucius learned quickly because of the guidance of the teacher, and he was very happy all day long Zheng Zai was very happy to see the excited look, and Li Er also praised him profusely, and his originally ugly and gloomy face gradually became radiant; Yan Zheng Zai sewed him another piece of clothing and bought him toothbrushes and soap. The well-groomed Li Er gradually revealed his gentle and elegant side, and his words and deeds naturally revealed an aristocratic atmosphere. Yan Zhengzai was surprised.

That afternoon, Yan Zheng finished weaving and walked to the room where Confucius was studying. Seeing the two of them resting, he said, "Mr. Li has worked hard these days. Mr. Li is so knowledgeable. It should be homeschooling, right?"

Li Er's smiling face suddenly darkened, showing a very painful expression, he lowered his head and let go of the hand that was holding Confucius' shoulder. , said nothing. Zheng Zai said quickly: "I'm sorry, Mr. Li." After saying that, he was about to leave, only to hear Li Er say: "Mrs. Kong, please wait a moment." Zheng Zai stopped and said, "Mrs. Kong, I have already stayed at your house. I haven't told you my origins for more than a week. It's really rude. I'll tell you today."

Li Er was born into a wealthy family in the state of Lu, and received a lot of education when he was young. He had a very good education. His parents wanted him to be the heir of their family, so they hired him the best Zhou Li teacher to teach him the six arts and let him learn all kinds of qualities that a noble must have; Li Er He did not disappoint his parents. When he was sixteen or seventeen years old, he became the most famous and knowledgeable person in the aristocratic circle. He was known as the "Star of Zhou Rites", "Reviver" and "Second Duke of Zhou". Li Er himself was very proud, and he wanted to promote the Zhou rites that had been ignored among the nobles of various countries and restore the Zhou rites to their former glory. But just when he was complacent, an accident happened.

The political opponent of the Li family, Dr. Zhongmi, was a staunch anti-Zhou ritualist. He was originally a big businessman. He was named a doctor because he built a large number of water conservancy projects for the king of Lu. He has been instigating Lu Jun raised the status of merchants, but was firmly opposed by the old nobles headed by Li Er's father. Zhong Mi really wanted to eliminate the Li family, but he never had the chance.

When the crown prince of Lu came of age, he held a grand hunting event. During this event, Zhong Mi ordered one of his archers to shoot next to him. One arrow. Afterwards, when Lu Jun investigated the matter, Zhong Mi ordered his men to falsely accuse Li Er's father. In this way, the Li family suffered a fatal blow. Li Er's father was beheaded, his mother died of grief soon after, and Li Er fled the state of Lu.

At the beginning, Li Er was not desperate. Apart from sadness, all he wanted to do was to go to other countries to promote his ideals and realize his great revenge. But he traveled to many countries, and few monarchs were willing to implement his policies. Even if there were one or two small countries, they failed in a short time.

In a small country called Yu, he had a conflict with a group of political opponents who were in power. As a result, he was completely defeated and almost lost his life, leaving a scar on his face. This made Li Er discouraged and no longer wanted to be involved in politics, so he wanted to return to the state of Lu and die in his hometown. He was robbed by a group of robbers outside the city of Qufu. In desperation, he tore off the left sleeve of his clothes. After entering the city, they met Confucius and A Niu playing games together.

Confucius' persistence in Zhou Rites and Zheng Zai's confidence in Zhou Rites reminded him of his own boyhood, and rekindled a glimmer of hope in his heart. Only then did he take the initiative to teach Confucius Zhou Rites. etiquette course.

Li Er has been staying at Confucius' house for six months, and there are gradually more rumors outside. It is said that Yan Zhengzai finally couldn't bear the loneliness and started to seduce men. Yan Zheng didn't care. However, Confucius was once besieged by a group of children outside, saying that he was the son of a romantic widow. Confucius rushed out because he was taller. After I got home, I told my mother timidly. Li Er happened to be nearby, and I felt very depressed.

The next afternoon, when Zheng went to Li Er's room to have dinner with him, he found that the room was empty and clean. There was a note lying on the table, which read:

"Mrs. Kong: Your son, Kongqiu, has studied with me, Li Er, for more than half a year, and his art has matured. Li Er has been busy recently and has not dared to resign. Please forgive me, madam."

Zheng Zai looked at it for a long time. No words were spoken.

Xinzhou, the urban area of ??Wuhan, has a long history, outstanding people and beautiful scenery. The "Chinese Olive Wood Fossils" dating back 20 million years ago have been excavated and there were ancestor settlements as early as the prosperous period of Tang and Yu. In 1027 BC, King Wu of the Zhou Dynasty defeated Zhou and enfeoffed the knights of Cao Xia in Zhu. It was the ancient Zhu country and it has been more than three thousand years. At the end of the Spring and Autumn Period, Xinzhou was called the Zhu State and belonged to Chu, a large country among the seven kingdoms.

At the end of the Spring and Autumn Period, the princes competed for hegemony, and the strong ruled the roost. The 1,800 princely states in the Western Zhou Dynasty were merged into a dozen. The people were suffering from the war, exhausted from running for their lives, and the people were in dire straits. The legacy system of the Western Zhou Dynasty was gradually disintegrating. In the words of Confucius, "rituals and music collapsed in the land of China."

Confucius (551 BC - 479 BC), a great thinker, educator and politician of a generation, had lofty ambitions and wanted to restore the "rituals" of Zhou Dynasty, implement "benevolent" government, and save the people from fire and water. He was erudite and talented, proficient in the six arts of etiquette, music, archery, charioteering, calligraphy, and mathematics. He deleted and reviewed "Poems", "Books", "Lis" and "Music", wrote "Spring and Autumn", and "Yida Zhuan"; He founded the first private school, with 3,000 disciples and 72 sages. In the state of Lu, he served as the chief minister and regent, promoted benevolent government, and achieved outstanding achievements. To make the country of Lu orderly, the people prosperous and the country safe, the houses are not closed at night, and "this is followed in all directions". Because of his reputation as a Confucius, King Zhao of Chu sent an envoy to pay tribute to Confucius. He asked Confucius day and night, making the Chu country rich and powerful, its people strong, and dominating the world. Confucius visited Cai Shichu and stayed in Panhengdu, Xinzhou for a few days. He left behind many famous stories and touching legends that have been passed down through the ages, injecting a rich literati heritage into this magical land and making the extensive and profound Jingchu culture even more profound. ,dignified.

1. Mozui Pan asked Xiang Lu

In the past Zhongni studied under Xiang Lu;

The ancient sages were fond of learning.

Sima Qian's "Historical Records" says: "Confucius lived in Chen for three years. He joined Jin and Chu to fight for power, and even attacked Chen." In 489 BC, Chu and Wu fought against Chen, and the two armies faced off. , the swords were at war, and there was an imminent trend, and Negan (today's Xinyang, Henan) became the front line. Confucius's masters and disciples, who were living in negative letters, had to say goodbye to Ye Gong, a Chu official who treated them with great courtesy and was diligent in asking questions about politics. They accepted the appointment of King Zhao of Chu and prepared to go to Yingdu, the capital of the Chu state.

In the tenth month of the golden autumn, the sweet osmanthus is fragrant, the wheat waves are rolling, and the rice is golden. Confucius took Zilu, Zigong, Yan Hui and other disciples along the Dabie Mountains and passed through Zhu State to prepare for the capital of Ying. They rode a carriage and galloped on the ancient plank road. You can enjoy the scenery along the way: farmers working with hoes in the fields, and shepherd boys herding cattle and sheep in the mountains. Rivers are meandering and crystal clear; rows of trees shade the sun, and patches of bamboo groves sway in the wind; villages are closely connected, with traffic, the sounds of chickens and dogs, and the melodious sound of flutes in the air. echo. When it gets dark, they will stay in nearby villages, or find villagers to learn about the history, customs and customs of the time, collect folk songs, or hold forums to discuss and preach the profound principles of "benevolence, righteousness, etiquette, wisdom, and trustworthiness" . Sometimes we also stop in a certain village for two or three days to collect the scenery.

One day, accompanied by the sound of hoofbeats and the vast dust and smoke, they arrived at the old street south of the Xinzhou Taoist Temple. I saw Osaki Mountain like a beautiful woman lying under the blue sky and white clouds, with high winds and lush forests; the clear and clear water of the sand river ripples; the Lion Rock is like a fierce lion squatting, swallowing the sun and the moon. The mountains here are misty, the lake is bright, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant. It is like a fairyland on earth. Not far from the south side of the street, the coachman suddenly reined in the reins, the horse roared, and the coach stopped.

Confucius asked: "Why did you stop?"

The driver replied: "There is a group of children blocking the way, Master."

"Let them give way. "

"Children, why didn't you give way when you saw the carriage coming?" Zigong jumped out of the car and said angrily.

"Why should we give way? Can't you take other roads?" A child who seemed to be the leader replied.

Zigong shouted angrily: "Do you know whose car this is? Tell you, this is Confucius's car!"

Hearing that Zigong and the child There was a dispute, and Confucius had no choice but to get out of the car to see what happened. Seeing an elder with a dignified appearance, flowing Confucian clothes and elegant manners, the children were not afraid and did not take it seriously, and continued to build their "city" with stones.

Confucius stroked the head of a handsome little boy and said kindly: "Young Master, could you please move the stones away and let us pass?"

The child looked up. Talking to Confucius, he said: "We are building a city, so please obey our orders."

"Well, I'll ask a question. If you can't answer it, you give us a way." Confucius thought, " "Etiquette" convinces people, and children are treated equally.

"Come on out," the child thought to himself, I am a student of Laozi, the Shouzang Shi of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, how can you still stump me?

"Listen carefully," Confucius asked, "Are parents and husband and wife familiar with each other?"

"Husband and wife are close," the child replied.

"No, parents. Without parents, how can there be offspring!"

"Husband and wife are dear, without husband and wife, how can there be parents!"

They each have their own opinions. Reason, no one can convince anyone. "Parents" and "husband and wife" were repeated twice.

Confucius said: Parents are responsible for food and clothing. Parents raise their children from childhood, take care of basic necessities, provide food, drink, drink, educate adults, preach and teach, so they don’t worry about it! Of course my parents are close.

Xiang Luo returned the favor with color: husband and wife, loving each other, men farming and women weaving, sleeping together on the same pillow, nurturing each other, loving each other forever, growing old together, and never parting. A husband and wife pay back their kindness in the same day! Of course the husband and wife are intimate.

…….

Confucius thought, I, Confucius, is famous all over the world and is called the Saint of China. Today, I can't convince even a child. His bearing is like the sea, his tolerance is great, and he is not as knowledgeable as a child. Then he took away the great scholar's worth, bowed and said in salute: "Prodigy, sir, I'm polite. We have important things to do, Wan Wang is so generous, and lend us a way."

The child said confidently: "Excuse me sir, since ancient times, has the city given way to the chariot, or the chariot to the city?"

Zilu said: "What kind of city are you talking about? It's just a child's game!"

"It's the city!"

Hold on for a while. The child knew that he was wrong, so he asked: "What do you want to do?"

"Travel around the country, preaching and teaching." Confucius said.

"Preaching and teaching requires a certain set of skills and talents, so what do you know?"

Confucius replied: "I am not boasting, from astronomy to geography. , I know a little bit about everything."

The child said: "I know everything about astronomy and geography. Then I ask you, how many eyebrows do you have?"

Confucius said. : "I can't see the eyebrows, how can I know how many there are?"

The child had an idea and then asked: "I can't see the wind, but I can see the stars in the sky. How many do you think there are?"

“There are so many stars in the sky, how can they be counted?” Confucius said in embarrassment.

The child smiled and said: "Ah, you think there are too many. There is only one sun. It is like an ice disk in the morning and a jade ring at noon. When does it get closer to us? When does it get farther from us?"

Confucius thought for a long time and murmured: "This, this... I really don't know. You are a child prodigy, only Chu has talent! I hope you can give me some advice."

The child said: " I don’t dare to give you any advice, I’m busy right now, I’ll see you later.

At this time, the disciples were shouting: "Master, let's go!" Confucius could only bow to the child: "See you later!" "I thought to myself, I really haven't studied this knowledge carefully! Then I asked the driver to turn the car around and take a detour.

Unexpectedly, after traveling for about one kilometer, the wheel of the car broke because of the sharp turn. Confucius had no choice but to ask Zilu to borrow an ax for repairs.

Zilu hurried to the village ahead and saw a middle-aged woman weaving in the house. Zilu said respectfully: "Auntie, please borrow something from you. Before Zi Lu could finish his words, the woman turned around and took out a shiny ax from the back room, "Here you go!" Zilu was shocked. How did she know she was borrowing an axe? The woman smiled and said, "Aren't you going to borrow something?" ‘East’ refers to Eastern Jiayi wood, ‘West’ refers to Western Gengxin gold, the ax handle is made of wood, the ax is made of iron, and ‘gold’ is iron. You want to borrow an ax? "Zilu ran back to the parking lot with the ax and told Confucius what had just happened.

After hearing this, Confucius sighed with emotion. Just now he met a smart child, and now he met a village woman. Not only was she willing to help others, she was also very helpful. He is also very smart. He can't help but praise: Chu is a place where dragons and tigers are hiding!

The child who stumped the sage Kong was Xiang Li. "Warring States Policy? Qin Policy" says: "Gan Luo said: Xiang Li." At the age of seven, he became Confucius' teacher. "The popular literary work "Confucius Xiangluo's Questions" spread throughout the land of China, and also spread to Japan, North Korea, Vietnam, Russia and other countries very early. The "Three Character Classic" also contains: "In the past Zhongni, studied under Xiangluo ; The ancient sages were eager to learn. ”

Therefore, the dialogue between Confucius and Xiang Lu has been a beautiful story through the ages. Because a certain person in Hubei Province, Hubei Province, liked to argue with clever tongues and was called Mozui Pizi, so the place where Confucius and Xiang asked each other was named Mozui Panjiang. The place where Confucius took a detour to repair his carriage is called the Huiche Port to commemorate the event.

2. Confucius sent Zilu Wenjin

The relics of Wenjin are still there today.

The monument was erected by Gu Cen.

About an hour later, the carriage was repaired. With the sigh of "only Chu has talents, there are dragons and crouching tigers hidden in Chu", Confucius and his disciples continued to drive southeast of the old street. Okay. After walking about 3 kilometers, a valley river blocked the way. The river was deep and wide, and I didn't know where the entrance was. Confucius and his party hesitated on the bank, and suddenly saw two tall and handsome men walking together in the field. When he started plowing, he asked Zilu to ask about the crossing.

Zilu came to the two men, clasped his hands respectfully, and asked, "Sir, where is the crossing of this river?" Where? "

A farmer did not answer the question and asked: "Who is the person sitting in the carriage holding the bridle? ”

“It’s Confucius. ”

“Is it Confucius of Lu? "

"Yes. ”

“Then, he should know where the ferry is. "

Another farmer asked again: "Who are you? ”

“I am Zilu. ”

“Is he Confucius’ disciple? "

"Yes.

The farmer said: "Look, the world is in the same turmoil. Who can change it?" Instead of running around with people who avoid others, it would be more comfortable to follow people like us who avoid others.

Not only did Zilu fail to ask about Jinkou, but he was ridiculed and lectured, and he reported back to Confucius in frustration. After hearing this, Confucius sighed sadly and said: "People should have social responsibilities. Why?" How can he live in seclusion in the mountains and forests, ignoring the common people in the world, and live among birds and beasts all day long? If there was peace in the world, there would be no need for me, Confucius, to run around.

These two farmers working in the fields were the famous hermits Changju and Jiedong at that time. Everyone has his own ambitions, and Confucianism has always advocated joining the world, helping the world, "rectifying the mind, cultivating the body, and harmonizing the family." , govern the country, and bring peace to the world. "The hermit thought that the world was in chaos and there was no way to save it, so he could only protect himself. Because Confucius once asked Zilu to ask about Changju and Jiedong here, people called the river that blocked Confucius' way the Confucius River. In On both sides of the river, the trapezoidal ridges of fields cultivated by Chang Ju and Jie Chan were called Chang Ju Chong on one side and Bu Jie Chan Fan on the other.

"The Analects of Confucius" and "Historical Records" both have records of Zilu's inquiries.

"The Analects of Confucius? Wei Zi" records: "Changju and Jie indulged themselves in the plowing, and Confucius passed them, which made Zilu pay attention to them."

"Historical Records" records: "Changju and Jie indulged in farming. , Jie drowned his wife and farmed, and Confucius thought that he was a recluse, so he asked Zilu to ask about it. "Jie drowned and said: 'Youyou are the same in the world, and who can change them?" Scholars, how can they be like those who have pioneered the world?" Zi Lu told Confucius, and Confucius said with regret: "The world has its own way, and the mountains are not in harmony with each other."

According to Qian Mu's "New Interpretation of the Analects of Confucius" annotation: "The names of Changju and Jie drowning are not passed down. Ju, Ju'un. drowning, Nao drowning. Because it is by the water, it is named after Jie. , Jianyi, also tall and righteous. One person is tall and strong, and the other person is tall and strong."

There are different opinions on whether Confucius sent Zilu to Xinzhou to ask about Changju and Jieyou. Guanjin, more than 20 miles south of Xincai City in Henan Province, is also said to be the place where Zilu asked for information. There is Zilu Village in Luoshan County, Tuocheng County and Ye County. It is also said that there was a place for Zilu to ask questions. Yutai, Shandong Province also has this saying. There is no historical record of where Zilu was. "Historical Records" records that Confucius returned to Cai from Ye, and when he met Ju and his wife, Zilu, the farming envoy, asked about it. Whether he was in Cai or in Xinzhou is not specified in detail. "The Grave Records of the Sage's Tomb" records: "Huangcheng Mountain is where Ju Zhun cultivated, and there is an east flow below, which is where Zilu came to visit." "Huangzhou Prefecture Chronicles" written by Wanli in the Ming Dynasty said: "According to historical records, Confucius came from Cai Ruye, Zhuyun, Ye has Huangcheng Mountain... According to ancient records, there is Yong'an City ten miles north of the county, which was built by Chu, and Chu Yin was the capital. Today's Linshan River (today's Tuanfeng County, adjacent to the north and south of Kongzihe Village) is the official road, and it is also. There is Huangshan. "Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty's "Wenjin Yuanzhi" says: "Huangshan, in the north of Confucius, is named Huangshanpu and Huanglinshu." According to the official annals, there is Huangcheng Mountain, and the place Confucius River is also called. The place name of Huangshan Mountain. There is only one word difference between Huangcheng Mountain and Huangshan Mountain, which may have been shortened to it later. Moreover, there is Chu City nearby, and the local area is an official road. It seems reasonable for Confucius to go to Chu from here. Both "Tongzhi" of the Ming Dynasty and "Huguang Tongzhi" of the Qing Dynasty state: "According to legend, Confucius came here to inquire after Chen Cai Shichu."

According to historical records, around the 16th year of Emperor Wen of the Western Han Dynasty (164 BC) to In the first year of Yuanshou (122 BC) of Emperor Wu, the people of the city excavated the stone tablet "The place where Confucius envoys visited the road" next to Confucius Mountain. In order to record the event, Liu An, the king of Huainan, built a pavilion and a stele and built a Confucius temple in the local area for people to visit. Sacrifices were held, and bachelors were recruited to give lectures and write books in the temple. The stone stele is still there, and despite the passage of time, the handwriting is still clear. Xiao Jizhong, a Jinshi scholar in the Ming Dynasty and the host of the academy, wrote in a poem: "The Qin stele is dark and astringent in the fog, and the Han palace is desolate with clouds." From this, it can be inferred that the Wenjin stele was erected in the Qin Dynasty. It is not known when the original stele was destroyed, but now only one stele with the same text written by Ming Dynasty remains.

3. Crossing the river and falling into the water to bask in the mountains

For a while, the wind blows over the bamboos,

The continuous rain in the river brings autumn.

The fish swims in the waves and the shadows sink,

The books are posted and the stories are left behind.

Although Chang Ju and Jie Dun retreated to the mountains and forests, they did not close their eyes and ears. They knew that Duke Ai of Lu once asked Confucius: "The chaos in the Lu country originated from the Ji family. Everyone understands that, however, Why does it become more confusing when it becomes clearer?" Ask Confucius to point out the "maze". Confucius replied at that time, "Because you only understand one country and one person, but not the world." It can be seen that Confucius knew but was not confused. There is a hidden meaning in Chang Ju's words: Confucius knew the "maze" of Lu, and he must also know the "maze" of Chu, so he did not tell each other about the ferry. Confucius and his entourage had no choice but to ask others. When they came to the ferry, they saw an old man ferrying them. Zilu said: "Boatman, please take us across the river."

"Okay, please drive the carriage and get on the boat." The boatman used a bamboo pole to hold it hard, and the horse followed the wooden boat in the water. Cross the river and the horses can swim.

When the boat reached the middle of the river, a sudden strong wind blew up. The wooden boat was bumping and swaying in the waves. The boat was up and down, unstable like a drunkard, and all the people in the boat lost their center of gravity. The whole boat and carriage could not withstand the bumps. With the wind and waves, the boat tilted and fell into the river. Confucius's master and disciples and all the others became drowned rats, fell into the water, and their clothes were soaked through. The problem of people falling into the water is not too serious, and it is not cold in the south at this time.

It's a pity that my books are missing. Confucius shouted: "Save my books quickly!"

There is a folk proverb: Confucius moved house full of books. Confucius was diligent and studious all his life, always enjoying himself and forgetting his excellence, not knowing that he was approaching old age. I carry a lot of books with me wherever I go.

Books in ancient times were actually seal characters engraved or written on bamboo slips. Cai Lun in the Eastern Han Dynasty invented papermaking, and Bi Sheng in the Northern Song Dynasty invented movable type printing many years later.

After everyone's tossing, the carriage was pushed ashore and the books were fished out. However, those books were all soaked in water. Confucius was anxious and looked around, trying to find a place to post his books. Yan Hui was still young and sharp-eyed, "Look! There is a hill on the other side." The hill was more than 300 meters high. It had no leaning on all sides and stood alone. The top was flat and clean, and it was two acres square. Confucius' frown relaxed. The autumn air was crisp and the sun was shining directly on the mountain top, making it a good place to read. The disciples quickly moved the wet books to the top of the mountain and spread them out to dry. There was no one around, and Zilu, Zigong, and Yan Hui took off their long robes and wrung them out to dry in the sun.

After going through all the troubles just now, Confucius stood on the top of the mountain and looked down at the gurgling water. He couldn't help but look up to the sky and sighed: "What a beautiful water! It's a vast ocean! It's a pity that there is no bridge here. If only there was a bridge here." Well, passers-by won’t have to suffer the hardship of wading in the water like me!”

Then Master and Disciple Confucius sat down on a long stone more than two feet long and took a rest while waiting for the books to dry. Dry. Zilu recalled the recent journey and all the misfortunes, and couldn't help complaining, muttering: When practicing rituals under a big tree in the Song Dynasty, Sima Huanzhen of the Song Dynasty wanted to kill his master; Yuye was besieged by Dr. Chen Cai for three days, Many people were starving and sick without eating a grain of rice. In the morning, they were teased by Xiang Luo's furry child in the old street, and in the afternoon, people and cars fell into the water. It was really unfortunate.

Confucius Kuan explained: "Heaven has entrusted us with a great responsibility to realize the Zhou rites and return the world to benevolence. There is a long way to go. Hungry and suffering are inevitable. We must be tenacious and perseverant. The mountain where Confucius and his disciples posted their books is right behind Wenjin Academy. The mountain is flat, with thick forests and bamboos, and lush crops, so it is called "Shading the Books". Mountain. The feldspar where Confucius sat was called the "sitting stone". There were also ink ponds and inkstones around it that were used for studying ink and writing when they stopped to give lectures. The Mochi is a small stream not far from the sitting stone. The rocks beside the stream are as dark as ink, so it is named Mochi. The two characters "Mochi" are engraved on the Linchi stone carvings, which are still vaguely identifiable despite the age. There is a stone beside the pool, shaped like an inkstone, a perfect match made in heaven. Whenever the weather changes, the "ink" will leach out, and the water in the pond will never dry up after a long drought.

4. A thousand years of sighing at the hole and sighing at the bridge

The integrity is like a mountain, and the palace bridge is close to the sky for thousands of years;

The articles are like the sea, and the origins of hundreds of generations are like bean chimes.

In 489 BC, Confucius stood on the bank of the Confucius River, looked at the water and sighed, saying that it would be great if there was a bridge here. Confucius was later called a saint, but saints are not gods, and Confucius did not believe in gods. "Respect ghosts and gods and keep them at a distance" ("The Analects of Confucius. Yong Ye"), "If you don't know life, how can you know death?" ("The Analects of Confucius. Advanced") Confucius did not mention "chaos, force, ghosts, and gods", which proves that gods can point. Stone turns gold (of course, God does not exist). Considering the level of productivity at that time, it was not easy to build a decent bridge.

The Kongzi River originates from Wuyun Mountain on the southeastern branch of the Dabie Mountains. It is a small mountain river with a length of more than ten kilometers. It is surrounded by hills, dense bamboo forests, pine waves, birdsong, fields and ridges, and villages. She flows through Qingqingsha River, lifts water, merges into the Yangtze River, and runs towards the boundless sea. For millions of years, the water has been gurgling day and night, flowing from ancient times through the Spring and Autumn Period, and from the Spring and Autumn Period to the present day. Because she left the footprints of Confucius, and because Confucius uttered a thousand-year sigh, she is even more magical and desirable, and carries a deeper cultural heritage.

More than 1,800 years later, Confucius’ long-cherished wish and the expectations of generations of people on both sides of the river have become a reality. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Mao Ruizheng, an admirer of Confucius and Confucianism, a Jinshi of Gui'an, and the magistrate of Huanggang County, fulfilled the wish of the sage Confucius and built a bridge here and named it Kongtan Bridge. Mao Ruizheng was a more accomplished county magistrate. The county chronicle said that he "had great contributions to the people in water conservancy, postal transmission and preparation of classic paintings."

Mao Ruizheng and the people around the Confucius River generously donated money and invited the best craftsmen to prepare for the construction to facilitate this charity. Four hundred years ago, steel bars, cement and other building materials had not yet been invented. Where could we get good building materials? Another amazing story happened here.

While everyone was hesitating, an elder with flowing white hair and an immortal spirit came to the village. He pointed out the puzzle to the villagers: "To build this bridge, you must use a keel." The villagers were surprised, "From
