Kapok tree, known as hero tree; Kapok is known as a hero flower. The tree of the world, the flower of the world, who can count clearly, why should we give it such a gorgeous title? Someone told me that this is because of a poem by Chen Gongyin, a poet in the late Ming Dynasty: "In February and March, the more Jiang Lai you go, the more trees bloom. Just like Yao's October exit to the sea, it's like a million lifts around the high platform. Cover it like a bell, like a knight, and Xiong Xing with red petals has horns. A handsome hero with a big beard and face! " I think it is too superficial to name this poem because it has the word "hero". How did the poet realize these two words? How many trees are there!

I always want to find some special reasons from kapok.

I have tasted its life experience and personality. Kapok is produced in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan and Fujian, also known as Panzhihua. As long as the temperature is suitable, kapok trees will take root, survive easily and grow rapidly. Its tree is majestic and its petals are gorgeous. As the saying goes, safflower needs the help of green leaves, but kapok leaves first, leaves grow and flowers fall, facing nature, opposing seedling emergence and leading the way. It doesn't like to gather in forests, but it is scattered in fields, ditches, streams, hills and wilderness, with three or five animals as many. It never chooses terrain, nor is it arrogant.

I know its function and value. Its white fruit is like a spindle, which bursts when it matures. The flying floc is soft and slender, with elastic luster, good pressure resistance and air permeability, and great buoyancy. It is an excellent material for making life-saving tools and a suitable item for home life. Wood cotton is light in brittleness and resistant to water immersion. It is a good raw material for making wooden boats, matches, wooden barrels, packaging boxes and paper making. Flowers, roots and skins have the efficacy of sterilization and dehumidification. Although "all treasure" is a common word, we can't help talking about kapok trees once.

I have observed the rise and fall of kapok. In February and March, when the weather was warm and cold, thousands of trees revived, and thousands of green trees competed for wonders.
