One of his most admired friends is Liu, who is unique in Confucian classics. Although Liu is knowledgeable, he once framed Zhang Taiyan.

That was before the founding of the Republic of China. Originally, Liu Ye was a revolutionary party, but he defected to Duan Fang, a minister of the Qing Dynasty, and framed Zhang Taiyan for taking refuge in Duan Fang.

After the outbreak of the Revolution of 1911, Duan Fang was executed by the revolutionary party, and Liu disappeared, and his life and death were unknown.

College students in Shanghai organized a petition group to go to Nanjing to demand the war of resistance. Zhang Taiyan said to his students at the Suzhou Sinology Seminar:

Lu Xun wrote an article commemorating Zhang Taiyan 10 days before his death. As the greatest writer in modern China, his evaluation of teachers is so weighty.
