Will parents be really sad or angry with their children?

It is difficult to repay parents' kindness

"It is difficult to repay parents' kindness" is the first filial piety sutra in Buddhism, and its significance is self-evident.

Text and vernacular translation

This is what I heard.

I, Ananda, personally listened to this sutra preached by the Buddha.

For a time, the Buddha only had a solitary garden in Savatthi State. and the great bhikkhu 2,500 people. There are thirty-eight thousand Bodhisattvas and Mahasattvas.

One day, Sakyamuni Buddha was in the country of Savatthi, giving sermons in the Solitary Garden. There were 2,500 monks and disciples of the Buddha present, as well as the great Bodhisattva Mahasattva. Thirty-eight thousand people listened to the Fa together.

At that time. The Blessed One leads the people. Go straight south. Suddenly I saw a pile of bones on the roadside. Then. The Tathagata faces those withered bones. Falling to the ground. Pray respectfully.

At this time, the World Honored One guided and led all the disciples to walk southward, and suddenly saw a pile of dead bones gathered on the roadside. At that time, Tathagata bowed to those withered bones and bowed respectfully to them.

Ananda put his palms together and spoke in vain. World Honored One. Tathagata is the master of the three realms. A loving father all his life. Everyone paid tribute. For what reason. Worship the dry bones.

Venerable Ananda put his palms together and said to the Buddha: 'The most noble saint in the world! You are the great teacher in the three realms of the world (the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm). You are the loving father of the four categories of living beings: mother's womb, egg, moisture, and transformation (fetus, egg, moisture, and transformation). You are respected and respected by everyone , What is the reason why, World Honored One, you actually worship these withered bones? ’

The Buddha told Ananda. Although you are my supreme disciple. Be a monk for a long time. The governor is not wide. This pile of dead bones. Or my ancestors from previous lives. Multiple parents. So it's karma. I'm going to worship this week.

The Buddha told Venerable Ananda: 'Although you are my chief disciples and have been practicing as a monk for a long time, your knowledge is not extensive yet. This pile of dead bones may be the bones of my ancestors in previous lives, or the remains of my parents in many lives. It is for this reason that I worship them today. ’

The Buddha told Ananda. You now divide this pile of dead bones into two parts. If it is a male bone. White and heavy in color. If it is a female bone. Dark and light.

The Buddha also told Venerable Ananda: "Now divide this pile of dead bones into two parts. If it is a man's skeleton, it will be whiter and heavier; if it is a woman's skeleton, it will be whiter and heavier." The color will be darker and lighter.

Ananda said in vain. World Honored One. Men are alive. Shirt with shoes and hat. Dress up well. At first glance, I knew it was a man. Women are alive. Apply more makeup. Or orchid musk deer. Such decoration. That's when I found out that she was a female. Now after death. As white as bones. Teach disciples and so on. How to recognize.

Venerable Ananda said to the Buddha: ‘World Honored One! When a man is alive, his clothes, trousers, belt, shoes, hat, etc., are neatly and intactly, and you can tell he is a man at a glance; when a woman is alive, most of them are smeared with rouge, flour, or dyed with orchid musk. , decorated like this, you can immediately know that it is a female streamer. But now after they die, the bones of both men and women look the same. How can we, the disciples, tell whether they are men or women? ’

The Buddha told Ananda. If it's a man. While alive. Enter Yu Jialan. Listen to the scriptures. Worship the Three Jewels. Recite the name of the Buddha. So its bones. White and heavy in color. Women of the world. Shorter than intelligence. Easily indulge in love. Give birth to a boy and give birth to a girl. Think of it as a calling. Every time a child is born. Live on breast milk. Milk changes from blood. Each child drinks eight dendrobiums from the mother and four buckets of white milk. So haggard. Bones appear black. Its quantity is also light.

The Buddha told Venerable Ananda: 'If you are a man, when you are alive, you often go in and out of Jialan Buddhist Temple, listen to Buddhist scriptures and precepts, worship the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha), and recite the name of the Buddha. , so his bones are whiter in color and heavier; most women in the world lack reason and brainpower, are easily addicted to emotions, and regard the matter of giving birth to boys and girls as her natural duty. Every time a child is born, he must rely on breast milk to feed the baby's life. Milk is made from blood. Each child sucks more white milk than eight bushels and four bushels of milk in the mother's body. Therefore, the mother's body becomes haggard and thin, and she dies. The back skeleton appears black and its weight is relatively light.

Ananda heard the words. It hurts my heart. Weep and cry. Bai Yan. World Honored One. Mother's kindness. How can I repay you?

After hearing the Buddha's words, Venerable Ananda felt his heart hurt as if cut by a knife. He shed tears and said to the Buddha in sorrow: 'World Honored One! How can we repay our mother for her great kindness? ’

The Buddha told Ananda. You listen carefully now. I am for you. Explain separately. A mother carries a child in her womb. Every tenth month. Very hard work. In the womb. In the middle of the first month. Like beads on grass. The day is in jeopardy. Morning gathering is coming. Dissipated at noon. When the mother is pregnant. Mid second month. Just like congee. When the mother is pregnant. In the middle of the third month. Like coagulation. When the mother is pregnant. Mid April. Slightly humanoid. When the mother is pregnant. Mid-May. The child is in the mother's womb. There are five cells. Which one is five. The head is one cell. Two elbows and two knees. Each is one cell. ***Into five cells. When the mother is pregnant. Mid-June. The child is in the mother's womb. All six spirits are activated. Which one is six. The eye is the essence. The ear is the second essence. The nose is the three essences. The mouth is the four essences. The tongue is the five essences. It means six essences. When the mother is pregnant. Mid-July. The child is in the mother's womb. Generate joints. Three hundred and sixty. And hair milk. Eighty-four thousand. When the mother is pregnant. Middle of August. Give birth to mind. and nine orifices. When the mother is pregnant. Mid-ninth month. The child is in the mother's womb. Absorb food. All kinds of quality come out. Peach, pear and garlic fruit. Grain essence. In his mother's body. The viscera is directed downward. Ripe dirty upward. Like the ground. There are mountains rising out. There are three people in the mountain. Sumeru No. 1. No. 2 Yeshan. Blood Mountain No. 3. This is a metaphor for a mountain. It collapsed once. Become one. Maternal blood coagulates into fetal food. When the mother is pregnant. Mid-October. The children all finished one by one. Fang Nai was born. If he is, he will definitely be a filial son. Put your fists together and your palms together. Peaceful birth. Does not harm the mother. Mother has no pain. Ruo'er will definitely be the son of Wu Ni. Damage to the fetus. Tear mother's heart out. Step on your mother and cross your bones. Like a thousand knives stirring. It also seems like a thousand swords and a heart. So much suffering. Born here. Speak more clearly. There are still ten favors.

The Buddha told Venerable Ananda: "Listen carefully now, and I will explain clearly to you: Most of the mother's pregnancy lasts ten months, which is very hard." When the fetus is in the mother's womb, in the first month, it is like dew on the grass. It appears early in the morning but may not be preserved until the evening. It gathers in the morning and disappears at noon. When the mother is pregnant, in the second month, it is like condensed butter. When the mother is pregnant, in the third month, the fetus is like a condensed blood mass. When the mother is pregnant, by the fourth month, the fetus has grown slightly into a human shape. When the mother is pregnant, by the fifth month, the fetus has already formed a cell body with five parts in the mother's belly. What are those five parts? That is, the head is a kind of cell body, the two elbows and the two legs and knees are each a kind of cell body, and the body has five kinds of cell bodies. When the mother is pregnant, by the sixth month, when the fetus is in the mother's belly, all six essences have been fully activated. What are those six types? The eyes are the first type, the ears are the second type, the nose is the third type, the mouth is the fourth type, the tongue is the fifth type, and the mind is the sixth type. When the mother is pregnant, by the seventh month, the fetus has formed muscles, bones and joints in the mother's belly, numbering 360, and has pores, numbering about 84,000. When the mother is pregnant, by the eighth month, the fetus has developed a conscious mind, as well as nine orifices including two pupils of the eyes, two ear holes, two nostrils, a mouth, urethra and anus. When the mother is pregnant, by the ninth month, the fetus is already able to absorb food in the mother's belly. What it absorbs is the essence of various substances, such as peaches, pears, onions, garlic, fruits, grains, etc. In the mother's body, the raw internal organs are directed downwards, and the cooked internal organs are upward. For example, on the ground, there is a mountain protruding out. The mountain has three names. The first name is Mount Sumeru, and the second name is Karma. The third name of the mountain is Blood Mountain. These metaphorical mountains collapse once and turn into a strip, and the blood in the mother's body condenses into food for the fetus. When the mother is pregnant, by the tenth month, all the organs and limbs of the child have grown and completed one by one, and then the child is born. If the child is determined to be a filial child, he will raise his fists and close his palms when he is born, and the child will be born peacefully and smoothly without damaging the mother's body, and the mother will not suffer much pain.

If the child decides to be an unfilial child, it will destroy and damage the mother's belly when it is born, grab the mother's heart, liver and five internal organs with both hands, and kick the mother's crotch bones with both feet, causing the mother to suffer as much as a thousand pains. The knife was stirring and killing, and it seemed like ten thousand sharp knives were stabbing into the mother's heart. He endured great pain like this before giving birth to this child. If we can further classify them clearly, mothers have ten more kindnesses.

First. Pregnancy protection grace. second. Suffer grace during childbirth. third. Forgetting to worry about giving birth to a child. fourth. Swallow bitterness and spit out gratitude. fifth. If you return to dryness, you will be wet. sixth. Breastfeeding nourishes grace. seventh. Wash away the impure grace. eighth. Travel far and remember your kindness. ninth. Deep sympathy. tenth. After all, pity Min En.

The first is the kindness of the mother who protects and protects the fetus during pregnancy; the second is the kindness of suffering all the pain during childbirth; the third is the kindness of forgetting all the pain after giving birth; the fourth is the kindness of swallowing it by oneself. The fifth is the kindness of giving something clean to the child and leaving the dirt behind; the sixth is the kindness of breastfeeding and raising and educating; the seventh is the kindness of washing the child's feces and urine. The eighth is the kindness of caring and remembering the child when the child goes on a long journey; the ninth is the kindness of caring deeply about the child; the tenth is the kindness of loving and caring for the child until the end of his life. .

First. Pregnancy protection grace. Psalm:

Thousands of tribulations are caused by heavy fate. Now I'm here to take care of my mother's womb. The moon exceeds the birth of the five internal organs. Qiqiluo is opened.

He weighs as much as a mountain. Move to stop the wind disaster. I don't even hang up my clothes. Mirrors stir up dust.

First, the kindness of guarding and protecting the fetus during pregnancy, the verse says:

Through many lifetimes and eons, we have created deep connections, and only in this life have we entrusted our mother with the pregnancy;

Month after month passes before the five internal organs are born, and it takes another seven and seven days for the six essences to bloom.

The weight and pressure of the fetus is like a mountain, and every movement of the fetus is like a bad storm;

The mother does not want to hang up the clothes for the fetus, and the makeup mirror is also covered in dust.

Second. Suffer grace during childbirth. Ode:

Ten months of pregnancy. Difficult childbirth is coming. Chao Chao is like a serious illness. I feel sleepy every day.

It is difficult to describe the fear. My heart is full of sorrow and tears. He told his relatives sadly. Only fear of death coming.

Second, the kindness of suffering in childbirth, the verse says:

After the mother has been pregnant for ten months, the painful birth is about to come;

When I wake up in the morning, I feel like I'm seriously ill. I feel heavy and lethargic every day.

It is difficult to describe the fear and fear, and the tears of sorrow flow all over the chest and clothes;

The tone of voice is sad when telling relatives and family members, but they are only afraid of the invasion of death by snatching away their children.

Third. Forgetting to worry about giving birth to a child. Song says

The day when a loving mother gives birth to a son. The five internal organs are always open. Both physically and mentally depressed. The blood flowed like a slaughtered sheep.

I heard that my son was healthy. Joy often doubles. Joy and sorrow return. The pain is gut-wrenching.

Third, the kindness of forgetting sorrow after giving birth to a son, the verse says:

When a loving mother gives birth to a son, her internal organs always seem to burst and tear apart;

My body and mind are almost suffocated to death, and the blood is flowing like a pig or sheep being slaughtered.

After the birth, I heard that my baby was safe and healthy, and I felt even more joyful than usual;

The joy temporarily stopped, but the sorrow came again, and the unbearable pain penetrated my heart again.

Fourth. Swallow bitterness and spit out gratitude. Song:

My parents are very kind. Gu Lian wasted no time. There is no relief from the vomiting. No frown when swallowing bitterly.

Love is too heavy to bear. Deep kindness is compounded by sadness. But it satisfies the children. A loving mother never refuses to be hungry.

Fourth, swallow the bitter taste and spit out the sweetness to give the kindness to your beloved children. The verse says:

The kindness of parents is profound and important, and they never neglect their care and love;

p>

I did not pause for a moment to spit out the sweetness, and never frowned when I swallowed the bitter taste.

The love for her child is so great that she feels sad and unbearable, and her kindness is deeply worrying and saddening;

But in the hope that her child will be well fed and satisfied, a loving mother willingly goes hungry.

Fifth. If you go back to dryness, you will be wet. Song says

Mother wishes to be wet. Move the child and do it. Two breasts satisfy hunger and thirst. Luo sleeves cover the wind and cold.

En Lianheng waste pillow. Only by pampering can you enjoy it. But make the child stable.

A loving mother does not seek peace.

Fifth, Hui'er's kindness makes him wet when he is dry. The verse says:

The mother is willing to throw herself into filth and wetness, and move her beloved son to be pure and dry;

The two breasts are specially designed to satisfy the child's hunger and thirst, and the light sleeves are used to cover the child's cold.

Love and pity always make you sleepless, only by pampering and teasing can you feel happy;

I hope that my child can be safe, but a loving mother will never seek peace for herself.

Sixth. Breastfeeding nourishes grace. Ode:

A loving mother is like the earth. A strict father is worthy of heaven. Cover the same grace. The same goes for father and mother.

No hatred, no anger. I don’t mind cramps in my hands and feet. Give birth to a biological child. Cherish and pity all day long.

Sixth, the kindness of breastfeeding and education, the verse says:

A loving mother letting her children rely on is like the earth, and a strict father raising children is worthy of heaven;

The universe and the earth are filled with kindness in raising all things, and the same kindness is shared by parents in raising their children.

Never get tired of ugliness, nor glare with resentment, nor abandon children whose limbs suffer from spasticity.

For good or bad, they cherish, love and care for their own children born from the mother's womb.

Seventh. Washing away impure grace. Song says

It is originally made of hibiscus. The spirit is healthy and abundant. The eyebrows are divided into new Liubi. His face turned red.

The deep kindness destroys the beauty. Wash and damage the dragon. Just to pity men and women. A loving mother changes her face.

Seventh, the kindness of washing away impurities in children's feces and urine, the verse says:

The mother's body is originally like a lotus and a hibiscus, and the spirit and complexion are originally strong and abundant;

The eyebrows are as separate as a new willow, and the face is as red as a lotus flower.

The love for her son deeply destroys the jade beauty, and the uncleanness damages the five dragons on the hand;

Just to love the boy and daughter, the loving mother's hands are rough and her face is wrinkled, changing her appearance.

Eighth. Travel far and remember your kindness. Ode:

It is unbearable to say farewell to death. Living apart from reality also hurts. The son came out of Guanshan. The memory of my mother is in a foreign land.

Follow me day and night. Thousands of lines of tears. Like an ape weeping for his beloved son. Cut off the liver and intestines inch by inch.

The son traveled far away from the pass mountains, and the mother remembered and worried about the distant land.

Day and night, the mother's heart follows her child away from home, her heart is worried and shedding thousands of tears;

Like an ape weeping to say goodbye to her beloved son, she is so sad and sad that her heart is broken every step of the way.

Ninth. Deep sympathy. Song:

Parents are very kind. It is difficult to repay deep kindness. I am willing to accept it for you. The children are tired and the mother is uneasy.

Travel far away after hearing the news. Lian'er slept in the cold at night. Men and women are working hard for a while. It makes the mother sad.

Ninth, the kindness of deepening consideration and care, the verse says:

The kindness parents have towards their children is extremely great, and it is difficult to repay such kindness;

Son The parents who are suffering are willing to suffer on their behalf, and the mother's heart feels uneasy about her child's hard work.

Hearing that their children are about to travel far away, I pity their children and feel lonely and cold at night;

Boys and daughters who suffer short-term hardship will make their parents sad for a long time.

Tenth. After all, pity Min En. Song:

My parents are very kind. There is no end to mercy. Standing up and sitting down, the mind chases each other. Near and far, meaning and casualness.

My mother is one hundred years old. I worry about my eighty-year-old son. If you want to know the end of love. Separation begins at the end of life.

Tenth, the infinite kindness of compassion, the verse says:

The kindness of parents is profound and important, and the kindness and love they give to their children never stops;

Mother's heart follows each other when she stands up or sits down, and her mother's thoughts follow her when she is close or far away.

Even though the mother is one hundred years old, she still often worries about her eighty-year-old son;

I want to know when the love for her son will be cut off, and the love and affection for her son will be separated only after her life is exhausted. ’

The Buddha told Ananda. I watch students. Although it shows character. The mind behaves foolishly. Don’t miss your parents. There is great kindness. No respect arises. Ingratitude and betrayal. There is no mercy. Unfilial and disobedient. The mother-in-law is pregnant with a child. In October. Restlessness. Like a heavy burden. Can't eat enough. Like a long-term patient. When the moon is full. Suffer all kinds of pain. Produced in a moment. I’m afraid it’s impermanent. Such as killing pigs and sheep. Blood flowed everywhere. Suffering like this. Give birth to a child. Swallow bitterness and spit out sweetness. Hold and nurture. Not clean.

Adapt to others. When not married. Everyone is filial. The marriage is over. Unfilial piety increases. The parents were slightly angry. Resentment arises. The husband and son-in-law were beaten and scolded. Be willing to endure. Different surnames and different clans. Deep affection and affection. Own flesh and blood. But I thought it was sparse. Or follow your husband. A foreign country. Farewell to parents. Unintentional admiration. Cut off news. No communication. Then he asked his parents. Hanging intestines and hanging belly. There is no moment of peace. It's like hanging upside down. Every time I think about meeting. Like thirsty and thinking about pulp. Kind thoughts to future generations. No rest. Parental kindness. Infinite and boundless. The guilt of being unfilial. It is difficult to report the death.

Or there may be a daughter who married into her husband’s family. Before she got married, she was very filial to her biological parents; after she got married, her unfilial feelings increased. The slightest anger and scolding from her parents will immediately create resentment in her daughter's heart; no matter how much her husband's son-in-law beats and scolds her, she can endure it willingly. She has a deep love for her husband's relatives from other families with different surnames, but she is alienated and forgotten about her biological parents in her hometown. Some daughters or their husbands live in distant counties with their husbands. They say goodbye to their biological parents, but they have no attachment and longing for their biological parents. From then on, they are cut off from the news and no messages or letters are sent to them. As a result, my parents were worried about me day and night, unable to settle down at any moment. The sadness of those days was like my body being hung upside down. Missing and wanting to see each other every day is like missing water when my throat is dry and thirsty. Parents miss their children lovingly and never stop. The kindness of parents is immeasurable and boundless; the sins of unfilial piety of children are difficult to state and report in the end. ’

That’s when. Everyone heard what the Buddha said about parents being very kind. Throw yourself to the ground. Beat your chest and throw yourself at yourself. In the pores of the body. All bleed. Absolutely dull. It’s been a long time. Sing loudly. It’s so bitter. It’s so bitter. It hurts. It hurts. Those of us today are truly sinners. Never noticed. It's like a night tour. Now I understand what is wrong. Heartbroken. I only hope that the World Honored One will show mercy and rescue you. How can I repay the kindness of my parents?

At that time, after hearing what the Buddha said about the profound kindness of their parents, the disciples were so moved that they raised their whole bodies and fell to the ground. Some of them beat their chests with their hands and blamed themselves. The pores on their bodies were filled with blood. He was soaked with blood and fainted to the ground, lame and unable to move. It took a long time to wake up, so he shouted loudly: "Trouble!" Trouble! It hurts! It hurts! We are all sinners today! I have never realized the kindness of my parents, and my heart is as dark as a night wanderer. Today I have realized the mistake of being unfilial in the past, and I am so painful that my heart, liver and gallbladder are about to break. Our only hope is that the Lord will take pity on us, save us and help us, and show us how to repay our parents for their profound kindness. ’

That’s when. The Tathagata uses eight profound Sanskrit sounds. Tell the public. You should know. I will explain them separately for you now. Suppose there is someone. The left shoulder carries the father. The right shoulder carries the mother. Grind skin to bone. Penetrates the bone to the marrow. Around Mount Sumeru. After hundreds of thousands of kalpas. Blood flowed to the ankles. I still can't repay my parents for their deep kindness.

At this time, the Tathagata will use an excellent voice, a soft voice, a gentle and comfortable voice, a noble and wise voice, a voice without a feminine voice, a voice that does not mislead, and a profound and loud voice. , the undumbed voice and other eight kinds of profound and solemn pure Sanskrit sounds attained by the Buddha, I tell all the disciples: "You should know that today I will explain it to you by category: Suppose there is a person carrying a burden on his left shoulder. Father, he was carrying mother on his right shoulder. The heavy load on both shoulders broke through the skin and flesh to the bone, and even penetrated the shoulder bone to the bone marrow. He walked around Mount Sumeru. After hundreds of thousands of kalpas, even the blood The flow covered the ground and submerged the heels and ankles, but I still couldn't repay my parents for their deep kindness.

Suppose there is someone. Suffered from famine. For my parents. Do your best. Cut into pieces. Like dust. After hundreds of thousands of kalpas. I still can't repay my parents for their deep kindness.

Suppose a person encounters the disaster of famine in a famine year, fearing that his parents will starve to death, he will cut his whole body into pieces of meat paste, as fine as fine dust to make it. After hundreds of thousands of eons of trying to satisfy my parents' hunger, I still can't repay my parents' deep kindness.

Suppose there is someone. For my parents. Holding a sharp knife. Gouge out his eyes. Dedicated to the Tathagata. After hundreds of thousands of kalpas. I still can't repay my parents for their deep kindness.

Suppose there is a person who wants to make alms and make offerings to the Buddha to pray for blessings and longevity for his parents. He holds a sharp sword in his hand, gouges out his own eyes, and offers them to the Tathagata. He does this in all his life after life. After hundreds of thousands of kalpas, I still can't repay my parents for their deep kindness.

Suppose there is someone. For my parents. Also with a sharp knife. Cut his heart and liver. Blood flowed everywhere. No matter the pain. After hundreds of thousands of kalpas. I still can't repay my parents for their deep kindness.

Suppose a person, for the sake of his parents, cuts off his own heart and liver with a sharp knife, and the blood flows out all over the ground, he will not be afraid to refuse the pain, and will do this for the rest of his life. After hundreds of thousands of long kalpas, I still can't repay my parents' deep kindness.

Suppose there is someone. For my parents. Hundreds of thousands of swords and halberds. Momentary sashimi. in oneself. Go in and out left and right. After hundreds of thousands of kalpas. I still can't repay my parents for their deep kindness.

Suppose a person is stabbed by hundreds of swords or spears and halberds at the same time for his parents, and stabbed in and out from the left and right sides of his body. After hundreds of After thousands of kalpas, I still can't repay my parents' deep kindness.

Suppose there is someone. For my parents. Break the bones and extract the marrow. After hundreds of thousands of kalpas. I still can't repay my parents for their deep kindness.

Suppose a person, for the sake of his parents, breaks his bones and bleeds out his marrow, and does this for the rest of his life. After hundreds of thousands of kalpas, he still cannot repay his parents for their deep kindness.

Suppose there is someone. For my parents. Swallow hot iron pills. After hundreds of thousands of kalpas. Burnt all over. I still can't repay my parents for their deep kindness.

Suppose a person swallows hot iron pills for the sake of his parents. After hundreds of thousands of kalpas, his whole body is burned and rotten, but he still cannot repay his parents. Deep kindness. ’

That’s when. Everyone heard what the Buddha said about the kindness of parents. Weep and cry. It hurts my heart. There is no plan if you think carefully. Make a joint statement. Deeply ashamed. ***White Buddha’s words. World Honored One. Those of us today are truly sinners. How can I repay the kindness of my parents?

At this time, after hearing what the Buddha said about the great kindness of their parents, all the disciples shed tears and cried sadly, their hearts hurting like a sharp knife cutting their hearts. After careful consideration, we could not think of a good plan to repay our parents' deep kindness, so we all spoke up, feeling deeply ashamed in our hearts. We all said to the Buddha: 'The most noble saint in the world! We are all guilty of unfilial piety today. How can we repay our parents for their deep kindness? ’

The Buddha told his disciples. Want to repay the favor. I wrote this sutra for my parents. Read and recite this sutra for your parents. To repent of sins to parents. . To provide offerings to the Three Jewels to parents. Observe fasts for your parents. To bring blessings to parents. If so. Then he will be called a filial son. Don't do this trip. It's a hellman
